  1. I tried the dpf "magic" tape and it did help me after five listens. mostly it helps to remind you the goal is to let go. its very conscious for me. the most babyish aspects of the tape make it a little less effective for me, but the focus on muscles and how to release them is much like "bladder yoga" to me. last night i just say down in diapers and tried to feel my bladder sphincter relax and open without contracting my bladder. things just flowed, somewhat slowly, but i found if i fought the once near-undeniable urge to close, i could ride it out like a cramp and not give in. the result was an amazing appreciation of the role diapers play in an incontinents life. it felt wild to be open and walking around the house and tinkling....helplessly.
  2. I haven't peed while driving but I would suggest tripple thick cloth diapers under plastic/vinyl pants. you can pee till the cows come home, have a big gulp and come back for seconds, no leaks while seated. Only try this on a long trip *home* .
  3. I really wanted to try pooping but was too shy to buy diapers. So I made some. If there's a sewing machine in your house (?) you could probably do an easy one in an evening. The results were fantastic. After I tried em the feeling was terrific, but I did not like cleaning them. That was enough motivation to buy disposables. I, like diapered teddy bear, had a scenario in my head, not expecting to say it but just to give me the persona to adopt while purchasing them. I also put them in with a much larger purchase. Easier to hide when going through the store. I reason that, with an ill relative i *still* wouldn't be thrilled to be the family member picked to go buy them, so its within character to hide them amongst my other purchases. I still use my disposables for peeing or, if i really wanna poo, i put a cut disposable underneath it. Homemade vinyl pants made it complete but, i still use both disposables and cloth.
