When I wear disposibles, I often wear a shaped cloth nappy over the top like a wrap - usually the wrap is thick enough on it's own to soak up an leaks, but for larger leaks, some plastic pants over the top.

I echo the same thing as a couple of others! Go for pull-ups or a thinner nappy with some cycle shorts over the top to stop the rustle.

I use Pampers size 6 mostly but have just got some terry cotton nappies for my cloth shaped nappies.

Now I prefer to sleep in nappies over 'normal' bed attire but did find initially that I woke up frequently during the night. Wearing nappies frequently at night soon got over that though and now wear nappies more often than not.

I have always found Tender-Care to be quite good. Not too expensive either: http://www.tender-care.com/.

No, I like my diapers - I can think of a number of occasions such as anxiety feelings or illness where not wearing a nappy would take something away from/worsen a situation rather than improve it. Nappies are here to stay for me! I agree with Mooglelove where without nappies, I wouldn't be me.

That man in the photos HAS to be incontient!!
I found an interview of who I believe is 'Mr Goatse' - http://www.bmezine.com/news/people/A20210/plp56/. The interviewer did ask if he needed to wear diapers - apparently not. So stretching may just result in a rather large rear exit and some pain getting to that point... (There are some quite graphic photos in the article).

I used to be 100% for disposable but have been converted to the cloth side although the cloth nappies I use are shaped ones. I still use disposables when I wear nappies at work but have now got a slim plastic backed all-in-one cloth nappy to try. Generally I find cloth nappies can hold a lot more than disposables and have the advantage that they can take a lot of 'stuffing' to increases the absorbancy.

Thanks so much for the welcome everyone, and so quick too!

A quick note to introduce myself and say hi! I am 27 and a DL from London - I where nappies most nights and often at work - suffer from a bit of a shy bladder and like to avoid public toilets if at all possible! This forum looks like quite a busy place and am looking forward to (hopefully!) fitting in!
All the best, Zootz

Minki in the UK make cloth shaped nappies - available either from their website (www.nappiesbyminki.co.uk) or from www.innappies.co.uk. Not sure whether they do international shipping though (if you are based outside the UK that is!).
