  1. Already figured that out, decided I wanted another engineering challenge.
  2. I'm not really big on posting stuff, but since you asked I typed this up for you about short cathy. If you don't understand something here, then DON'T DO ANYTHING, please don't be stuipd. Understand that I am not a medical professional and that if you try this you are accepting all responsibility, and I’m sure you’ll never get a medical professional to understand why you did this and a psyche evaluation free of charge. You will need a catheter of your choice (I recommend the 100% silicone style for use with the hot glue explained later and a smaller diameter 14-16Fr), a small forceps clamp (prefer curve style with about a 1.25
  3. Jilly and I have a few things in common in the cath department. I've worn them for about 20 years with diapers and never had any problems. I've learned a ton about what works and what to avoid. The last few years have been trying to solve the issue of being totally incontenent and wearing the cath with the inflated balloon to hold it in place, and no external cath showing, IE the cath is totally inside me. It took a lot of design work in modifying the cath, but I think I have it. Wearing the cath inside changes the way it operates and how you leak. I've worn a cath for a week leaking into diapers 24/7. I love this method. Change at work, on the road, Wal-mart, you name it. If this was the normal life for you, you wouldn't like anything of changing anywhere. I've also learned that when you cath like this, you need to get the real diapers. The Depends of the world are not a good idea for the most part.
  4. I find this topic interesting. Why? Because I'd like to be and then I'd like to be able to reverse it at will. So I started with catheters. Yes I know all the risks out there, but after years of never having anything go wrong I think that for at least me they are over stated, so I'm not going to discuss the issue, way too much about that already out there. With that said, I then started wondering if the catheter could be worn completely inside without the tail sticking out. Turns out that it can be if modifed and parts from two catheters are combined, and a process of installation followed. Does it work well? Yes and no. I've worked on and off at different designs and come up with one that works pretty well for a guy (not yet hit the perfect combinations, and haven't tried for a long while now). For a lady it was a piece of cake. I diaper friend of mine tried the lady version, it was really easy for her. Why is it difficult to design one for man? Well there are tons of issues, but for the sake of time I'll sum it all up by saying length of plumbing and the fact the plumbing moves in all different directions. I read in one of the replies that pee doesn't drip, drip, drip. That's my experience. More often no pee comes out when sitting in a chair, but look out when you stand up. Sometimes nothing comes out while standing, then bend down, and it floods out. There doesn't seem to be any real strick pattern, just general patterns.
  5. In the shower, no, but went swimming once. It was like pulling up a 50 lb weight and nearly fell off me, tapes were not designed for that much weight. It not only had the weight of water it could absorb, but acted like blumers and held in a ton of extra water.
