Hi there all I think it is getting to the point where we will have to just say yes or no to the idea of having the munch in Leicester this month. Seeing as up till now the munch in Birmingham has been ever 2 months, with the last one being less than a month away I don't see how having the munch in Leicester this month takes anything away from that munch as there was not going to be one this month any way. I do know at least 5 people that are planning on coming if it does happen. So for those two reason I am going to say that the munch will be in Leicester as a trial run of the idea of having it switch between the two and maybe one day moving to other place now and again. To keep things simple seeing as having a munch that moves city can get confusing enough it will be on the same date, the 3rd Saturday of the month making in Saturday 20th of March. Right now I am thinking it will be in 'The Last Plantagenet' as it is a 2min walk from the train station and quite big so we should be able to get quite some space to ourselves. But I will go and check out the type of crowed it gets on a midday Saturday just to be sure. Hopefuly we will get more than those 5 people.... not that you 5 aren't good enough , well I can say one of them isn't as I don't think he use this site

Goerge, there was 7 people at the first one and 9 at the last one. Seeing as the next one may be in Leicester I can't be sure how many would come. My main piece of advice if you are shy get there early when there are less people there so hopefully by the time most people get there you feel a little more settled instead than working into a big group. As for the Venue it is just a run of the mill pub. Dipeytgdiva, where would be accessible for you? I think I am write in thinking you said you would be interested in Junior bowling munch so I am guessing you are not saying you would be able to come if the munch was in Worcester?

I think Something has a fair point. There are people out there that ever don't care what the pubic think or active seek attention for a number of reason by being intentional overt about their action and don't think about the other people there that don't feel the same. And I really do want this munch to be somewhere that people who are very nerves about being outer etc can take a first safe step to being more social with their AB/DL side and it only takes one incident for any hope of that being the case to be undone. Also if every one that will ever come is going to behave any way then there shouldn't be any argument about what the rule are or any problem following them. But it is best to have something in place so everyone knows where they stand. Even if it is never need I am guessing it would make the likes of Something feel happy being there and I would say that is reason enough. The general rules that I would say are need are 1) dress code i.e. no AB or fetish clothing, dress in normal street cloths and if you are wearing that is cool but do so as discretely as possible. 2) No photos, sure if you want to take a photo and you check with every one that is going to be in it and they are fine with it then go ahead but unless you ask then it is not allowed (and try not to get anyone in the back ground) 3) Act normal by that I just mean when talking about AB stuff (which happens surprisingly little) make sure you are not shouting it out. No putting your dummy in and going to sleep etc. etc.

Hi ther one little thing that I meant to ask is what do the people that camethink of the pub the munch was in? I for one thought it was fairly good and would be happy to use it from now on.

Hi there all I am sure a lot of people know most of what this post will be about before reading it but it may be a little different to what you think... I think it is fair to say the last munch went fairly well over all so I can't see any reason to stop doing them. There has been a little talk both before and during the last munch about making it a monthly thing and I would be more than happy to hear what people think about that as if there is enough people interested to make it work every month then I am fine with that. The other thing that has been mention with I would love to hear wide views on is that if the munch does become a monthly thing have it switch between a few place so that if you can't travel very far then there is more of a chance that you will be able to go to it every now and again. Going all the way back to the first topic about this munch Birmingham and Leicester where the two main place mentioned so my plan would be to start off with at least have it move between those two city's... so if you have any general view about this idea or if you would be interested in coming if there was a munch in Leicester it would be great to hear from you.

well if every one that has said they are coming in the last few days does come then we will defantly havea good size group. I am sure a few of them will not make it there for what ever reason but still should be a fair few there And the plan is to get there for around 12:00. if you can't make it till a little latter that is still fine but 12 is the earlest you can turn up and exspect to see any one else there

Something you of all people should know it is still happening and yes I posted some time ago the it will be at The Old Contemptibles, 176 Edmund Street, Birmingham, B3 2HB. I have heard it is quite a good place for this kind of thing so at least werth giving it a go once And Junior it would be good to see you there and feel free to post about it any where you like... well not quite anywhere, if you find a 'I hate ABs' site try not to mention it there but baring that it is all good

Hi just wanted to ask any one that is thinking of coming just to post to say that you maybe there so we have some idea of the numbers... it does really matter to much but would be nice to know not least because people keep asking me and I can only give a best guess and the lowest number that is likely.

Well it does seem that many people have been posting there views on here but I have been talking to a few people that are likely to be coming and Saturday the 20th is the best day for most people and seeing as that is less than a month away now I don't want to leave it any longer to start posting it on other sites etc so that is the date. And I think t would be best to say around 12 o'clock again, of course if two or three people say they want to get there a little earlier there is nothing to stop you doing that. Any input into the venue, would be great. And of course if you just want to post to say you are or may be coming that would be good to see to

Humm well as I think I have said the only reason for wanting it on the 3rd weekend is in case people who are travailing wanting to go to the BBB and as yet no one has said for sure that they would be wanting to go down to Birmingham for the weekend to go to the munch and the BBB. I mean I know there are a few that are thinking of doing that but that is a little different. So if now one post in the next few days saying that is what they want to do for this time I would be happy to consider moving it to the 4th weekend... I am a little reluctant as I would like to set a regular date and time but seeing as it is a yearly event we could start the regular date, time etc from next time???? Having said that there are a few people that I am waitin to here back from that may be wanting to go to the BBB as well and that is why I am not moving to change it just yet.

Ok I am really looking to set a date at least a month before hand so people can plan ahead so there is more chance for people to come. From the few people I have spoken to people have ever said that they don't mine or would proffer it on the Saturday. So unless any one really objects to it I am going to say it the Munch will be on Saturday the 20th. We can decide on where it will be shortly but it will be fairly close to the city centre.

Just to say that so far the two surgests on where to have the munch are 'The Fountain Inn' or 'caferouge'. Would love to hear any ones view on ether of these or any place you think may be good.

(I know I have already answered this to you but) No there is no intention to have the munch as part of the other munch (Birmingham B2G Munch), I only mention the other munch as the reason for having to find another place. However, as much I am not a fan of the idea, the idea of just having a little gathering at the BBB (on the Sunday). Personal I am thinking Saturday is the better of the two days for a number of reason. The trains are better meaning for one I can get there before 12:20. People travailing for a little further away wanting to make a weekend of it can go to the munch and then the BBB the day after (as it is not really possible to do both in one day as the BBB ends at 5pm, to name a few.

Hi there all just wanted to officaly start sorting out the Feb Birmingham munch (a little surprised no one has started a topic yet). So after talking to a few people it would seem that a lot of people would like it on the 3rd weekend (mainly due to BBB) but as to if it Sat or Sun that is less clear... but if it is the Saturday we may need to find a new place to hold it as the last place was not the greatest and also there is also a munch there on that day. So if you have a preference on the day or place or just want to say hi and that you may be there... feel free to share

I was fairly sure Thomas was was wearing and wasn't too sure if any one else was, but I could well be wrong. Yeah I have wrote to Timber to and not heard back yet, or read it for that matter.

Yeah that was pretty much it. It is quite a free flowing set-up (as in you come when you like and leave when you like) for example one of the people there left before we went to get something to eat. And I think 2 or 3 people were wearing nappies. Hi there, just to eco what others have said it went pretty well and from what I can tell everyone had a fairly nice time. As for the next one it is looking like Feb as a few people have said that paying for Christmas was there only reason for not being able to make it. Also if people are wanting to make it a regular thing I am guessing (and more than happy to be corrected on this) a bi-monthly event. Sorry Abrera but I can’t see it being in the week as more people tend to be free at the weekend and kind of have to go with what is best for the majority, having said that I am getting the impression that there are a fair few people in the Birmingham area that would be more than happy to meet up so of course nothing to stop there also being a (I am guessing) small mid-week met up if people want to. As of yet not got any fixed plans for the next one but from quick talks with a few people the 3rd Saturday of the month is looking like a possibility as a some people have mention wanting to come and make a weekend of it and going to the BBB and the Sunday. But like I say that is not a set date not least because some people have mention that they would like to go to the munch and the BBB in one day. But I am sure it can all be worked out soon enough. And it is a shame you couldn't make it James, was really looking forward to seeing you again, it really has been to long

Hi there all, seeing as it is now getting very close to the Munch and this topic has went a little quite I thought I would just say that the munch is definitely going ahead just in case anyone was one was looking to check. Not really get to much of an idea of who will be there but I can pretty much guaranty that there will be at least 5 people there... of course if there is more than that that’s great.
