  1. I am getting divorced and cannot afford to rent a place alone. I am a 25 y/o male AB and I'm a business student and a waiter. I can't move back in with my folks, they never accepted my AB side. I can be as clean and respectable as you need and I am dependable. I enjoy cooking, TV, movies, going out, camping, video games, exercise, and many other things. Will you be my roommate?

I am in the east bay area and will consider any location from which I can reach my work in Livermore and my school in Hayward in a reasonable amount of time.

  2. Its my experience that yes, standard diaper rash creams will cause your plastic pants to become brittle and crack because they contain petrolatum products. Find a diaper rash cream that does not contain these. I've been using California Baby: h++p://www.californiababy.com/calming-diaper-rash-cream-2-9-oz.html

I just got my first cloth diapers today, and it's been a good experience except for one thing...I'm prone to getting rashes on my upper and inner thighs (due to leg bands, maybe?), particularly my left thigh from disposables and I developed a slight one today with the cloth, so I reach for my rash cream as usual. But that got me wondering...Would my rash cream (I usually use Balmex or Desitin) do anything to my cloth diapers or degrade my plastic pants? I like the cloth diapers so far, but I don't want rashes, and if I get one, I really don't want to go without my rash cream.

Is there anything I can do to prevent rashes with cloth diapers/PP's that's different than disposables? I know to stay hydrated and change frequently already, but is there something else I can be doing? And will my rash cream harm my PP's?

Also, I've looked up care of cloth diapers and care of plastic pants, but is there any other tips I should be aware of?

  3. umm i'm thinking it was just a funny witty comment.. geesh calm down.

I guess I just don't think its that funny or witty. I respect your opinion, but I feel that the language and the little head bashing icon detracts from the sarcasm theory or at least obscures the humor. I've seen plenty of comments on similar threads that echoed this sentiment and I find it embarrassing - it is after all why she bothered to say "Guys don't even ask".

  4. heh I guess my penis disqualifies me from this thread. I feel so discriminated against :bash:

No offense phogen, but what good does this comment do? I've seen a lot of comments like that on similar threads and frankly I think it should be clear they're unwelcomed by the poster. It's not discrimination to know what you want and ask for it. Your comment is like a text based temper tantrum. Guess what? Stomping your feet and crying wont change this person's mind about you or their goals.

  5. Is there any people in the sanjose area looking for a play date...

    Hello babyme29,

I'm 24 years old and I'm a married ab/daddy switch living in San Ramon that loves to meet other people with similar interests for play dates. I enjoy listening to many kinds of music, watching movies or TV, going out and about, etc. If you'd like to get to know me better and perhaps get together some time, send me a private message or email me.

  6. Well Spokane Girl, I don't know what magic plastic pants these other people are buying, but I'm in the same boat as you. When I get diaper rash I treat it with rash creams like Desitin or A&D, and over a sadly short amount of time (2-3 months if them using it regularly) the plastic pants become brittle and start to crack, after which they are obviously useless and I'm forced to buy more. I've learned that no amount of padding or lining between your sore bum and the plastic pants will stop the petroleum from leaching through. Unfortunately, I haven't seen anyone suggest a diaper rash cream that doesn't have petrolatum products. Let me know if you find one

I nominate myself for the 'Webmasters of Other Websites' category, not as a true owner/administrator of my site, but as a moderator who single-handedly governs his forum in the unexplained absence of its real owner/administrator.
