Hi, I’m Penny, although this is of course not my real name, it’s actually Penelope. I feel like a bit of fraud because I actually joined 8 years ago but then as I’m sure many of you can relate I stopped this habit and yet here I am again. This time I’m trying something different and I’m trying to connect with my emotional side rather than the physical side of AB. Let’s see if this works? love you all Penny xxx -
I'd like to have my display name changed from "TheJ" to "ThreeJay", please!

This could be possible. Growing up mentally is the nerve cells in your brain making new connections. It means this has to be some kind of neurodegenerative disease that reverts the process to a differing extent without lethal changes to brain function. It's theorised that another real neurodegenerative disease, Alzheimer's, might be triggered by a viral infection. To me the more logical point for the condition to manifest is after the frontal lobe of the brain stops developing at the age of 25 for biological men and slightly earlier for biological women. Then there would be a developmental milestone and a clear biological change to tie to the onset of the disease, if it can be called one. Perhaps syndrome would be more accurate. As @kerry said, graduation is a societal construct as well as majority at the age of 18. The idea of increasing the age of majority in the near future grounded in the aforementioned milestone could make for an interesting story, with ABDL aspects sprinkled in of course.

Tena’s European and American diapers are vastly different. The picture a few posts back shows a Tena Slip Active Fit Maxi EU version, which happens to be the one I’m currently wearing. 🔵 Tena Slip Active Fit (Europe) Features a plastic backsheet, which feels soft and adds to the secure, protected sensation. Uses second-change tapes—a blue adhesive strip that can't be removed without damaging the plastic. Stays snug after extended wear, even after a few wettings. The outer surface remains dry to the touch when wet. Crinkles softly when you move—subtle, discrete enough under jeans. 🟢 Tena Slip ProSkin (Europe) Comes with a cloth-backed breathable outer layer—gentler on the skin. White tapes allow multiple adjustments, which is great for repositioning. Same level of absorbency as Active Fit. Backsheet is also soft, but less flexible. Downsides: it can sag more easily and sometimes feels slightly damp externally when full. European Tena In my experience is one of the most reliable medical-grade diapers available in Europe. The absorbency and dryness retention beat most other brands. Fit is solid overall—though I’d say European Attends diapers fit even better (but can't near hold as much).
