Reusable/Washable Underpads?

I'm not really sure if this should go in the "Just Diapers" section, but they are absorbent like diapers and I have a question about quality and all...Please feel free to move it if I put it in the wrong place...

I'm looking for a reusable/washable absorbant underpad to go along with my plastic sheet...Preferably one with a vinyl or other type of waterproof backing...I also want it to be comfy, good quality and a decent size for the price. I've looked up different sites, but seeing as I've never purchased an underpad before, I'm pretty clueless about quality and companies to buy from.

Can anyone help me out please?

I have a Priva Ultra Plus Waterproof Sheet Protector (look on Amazon.com) that's really nice. It has a waterproof backing and a quilted top layer. I put it between the mattress pad and top sheet. Other than my side of the bed being a little softer I don't even notice it's there... it's not hot like others I've used. I think there are a couple sizes available - I got the 34" x 52" which is nice and big.
