Perhaps you might find some esoteric brand in a mom-and-pop grocery that is plastic-backed. I've just started collecting vintage baby diapers from E-Bay. So far I have two 1985 pampers and three 1981 Luvs--all plastic-backed, of course. The Luvs in particular are thick beyond belief. Link to comment
