Sundays, not that restful around this house. But, it's not boring at least.

TY for saying! I knew I risked a major amount of trouble, but I didn't care. My career vs. the life of a Human Being? I went into that situation fully ready to sacrifice my entire potential career without any reservation about it. I was being a Physician, working to save the life of my patient, that's how I saw it and that's how the Board ruled also.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I had an elderly person in the ER once who was bing abused in a home, NO one listened but me. SO, I followed up on my own and dropped by to visit her. Thaat made her day and I left behind a 'nanny cam' device to see what I could get.
It led to an investigation that saw some staff sent to prison, others fired and banned from the healthcare industry, and the owners sued.
That got me into SERIOUS trouble with my superiors at the hospital I was doing...

Well, all I'm asking of you, is that now and then, you take a moment, or a minute, just for yourself. I find your Dedication to be amaazing and highly praiseworthy!! But I've sen folks like you, who are so finely focussed, so driven and dedicated 'burn out' before their time.
I just don't want another good man to go through that.

TY for understaanding, but please, do take care of yourself? Your body is your main implement for making Art, right? So you need to care for it like you would brushes or other tools used to make Art.
My husband does benefit from the enforced rest, he works less, but he achieves better mental performance, and it's SO much better for his health, of course. I do enjoy dominating him, but also I like that many times the BDSM aspect of our relationship serves genuine benefits.

Restraints to keep him from diving back into working. VERY difficult to use a keyboard, pen, tc. when one's hands are locked inside thickly-padded restraint mitts. No he's not intentionally self-destructive, he's just the kind who gets WAY too buried in his work, to the point where he will forget to eat, put off sleeping for a couple days straight, and like that.
Once I moved in after we got married, I started putting an end to that 'overdosing' on work. I will...

my husband had a rough night. constant muscle cramping and spasms in limbs and torso muscles. Fibromyalgia and Rheumatism is a very nasty mix. So, I'm making SURE he takes the day off. He needs rest and to just relax and let the prescription marijuana battle the cramps/spasms and such. In short, he's something of a Workaholic, so I'm keeping an eye on him with restraints immediately at-hand if I feel they're needed.
