Wasn't there a biodegradable stent that is placed into the bladder sphincter to hold it constantly open?

What prevents that stent from traveling inwards though?

No danger of the bead slipping in. Belive me, i tried.

I tie a plastic bead onto the end of the retrival string, which is just long enough, that the bead is a few mm from the tip of my penis when its erect. This minimises the risk quite a bit imho.

Well... i made myself a stent with the 2 hollow beads inside, but i did not manage to insert it. It's an 18ch cath with 2 beds about the same circumference as the cath inside (looks pretty much the same as the pic in the first post).

I opted for the 3rd option. Only wear when having a stent/cath.

My clumsy attempt...
I inserted a bent polyetilene tube (5mm outer, 3mm inner diameter) into the catheter tube. I should probably have it extend more into the upwards tube. wasn't bad, wasn't good. Need to refine it a bit. Also, the tube after bent is not fully rigid, so this may be an issue aswell.
