  1. Do you want recover your bladder or do you still want become incontinent in pee? I know, high temperature in summer is a big problem but true incontinent people also has to solve it. If you still want become incontinent in pee, the fall should be the best season to start the training.

How do you manage it, if you are on hiking tour and you had to pee. Do you use the nature for restroom? I know,in summer you had to sweat a lot and at this case you don't pee a lot. But now in winter i think, you had to pee more.

If you are on backpack trips, how do you manage it, if you had to poop? There are lodges with restrooms at the trail? If yes, they don't have trash cans? If they have trash cans, i would deposit the used diapers into them (wrapped in a trash bag) and 3 fresh diapers per day should not use too much place in the backpack.

  2. Hi AZbearlover

Sorry, english is not my first language.

It's a pity, that you had tried to announce your road to incontinence in that moment, while stopping your 24/7 wearing. I have read the monthly recapitulations in your journal and the end. It was very interesting for me.

I also have tried 24/7 several times. But my longest period in them was 8 weeks. I had stopped because the 24/7 wearing interfere too much with my job. I don't have a desk Job.

Do you still wear diapers at home and at work? If hiking is the only reason for not wearing the diapers, then search in incontinence forums for keywords like hiking. In german forum this search was successful. But the recommended diapers you can't buy in US. Another recommendation was, to wear tight runners or compression shorts. They hold the diaper very tight to your body and prevent at this way the chafing of your legs.

I hope, you can restart your 24/7 wearing soon.

  3. Some of your early posts (one in which I seem to remember you saying it was a hassle and you hated it, but you weren't giving up) were helpful to me during my first three months 24/7 (yep, three months! :) ) I still enjoy reading your responses. I do have a question or two for you:

Were there times you realized your body had been holding it for a while before you noticed? I find that even after three months, I 'accidently' hold it for a little while before I notice and let go. Its getting less frequent, but it does still happen.

Heidilynn mentioned there are still times she (what is your pref on pronouns Heidi?) wakes up with an uncomfortably full bladder, though infrequent. I have this happen too often for my tastes, and I often have trouble 'letting go' at this point. A few drops dribble out easily, but if it gets to be full enough to feel, I have to relax significantly and/or push.

Did you 'practice' by drinking excess water to allow yourself more opportunities for training?

Creepymouse, do you have some success into untraining your bowel?

How do you manage it, if you had to poop at work?

  4. I also have tried 24/7 several time the last years, but my longest period 24/7 into them was 8 weeks.

It is weird, i wear them some days fulltime, then i started to hate them and give up the fulltime wearing. After some days i miss them, wear them on and off and after some weeks i started the next fulltime attempt..... I think i am in a infinite loop in this case.

I have read all your blogs. At the beginning it was also very painful for you to use them fulltime. Congratulation, that now it is no problem for you to wear them 24/7. It seems, that the first weeks are the most difficults and in this weeks most people give it up to wear them all the time. Unfortunarely i am one of these people.

I also want wear them 24/7 to unpotty train me. I think for people who are in the 20's of their age it is to early. I have started to wear them on and of for fun at the age of 14. And i am happy, that they havn't affected my lifestyle in my age of 20's and 30's. Now it is ok for me to become unpotty trained.

I have started my next attempt in wearing them 24/7 now. Unlike you, i want be unpotty trained in both. To poop into a diaper is a much more intensive feeling then just to pee. Diapers are made for both.

I know, it is a long way to reach this goal. But now, i just try to pee into them. If i have no problem into wearing them fulltime like you, i will start the unpotty training in poop. But my first aim is, that fulltime wearing becomes normal to me.
