ABDL Starter Kit Advice

Dear forum! I need some advice regarding a product I’ve been asked about like 100 times already, but I feel like it doesn’t really match what the interested audience actually expects. I’m talking about an ABDL Starter Kit, except it’s aimed more at people who only know ABDL from kinky Reddit videos - you know, the heavily mixed fetish zone with bondage, chastity, sissification etc. involved, rather than people who are deeply into ABDL itself from the start. What would you personally recommend as a good starter set for someone like that? Something that would make them more curious and interested instead of instantly overwhelming or scaring them away? I’ve got this list so far, but I’m struggling with what the main focus should actually be. Again, this is not your typical “I’ve always wanted to try ABDL” person, it’s usually someone who got pulled into those spaces through other kinks first.

What would you consider must-have items, and what would you skip?

Hard to say, we are all unique so maybe a customizeable one would be better than a pre-set.

The thing is, I kind of want the other side of this starter set to be that it also feels a bit like a mystery box. So even people who already own some gear might still get tempted to try something new or discover a different branch of ABDL.

And honestly, after thinking about it more, I feel like the problem might actually be the name itself. Even if the items inside are themed, because of what “ABDL Starter Set” sounds like in people’s heads and the assumptions the target audience might make, maybe it shouldn’t really be called an “ABDL Starter Set” at all.

Maybe something broader like a “Kink Starter Set” would work better? I genuinely don’t know at this point (help 🥴)

IMHO. An abdl starter set should include colorful or cute prints on diapers, but nothing overly thick. I'd say include a size 8 orthodontic latex pacifier, and a plain onesie that can be worn outside and in place of an under shirt or polo shirt. You'll also want a moderately sized stuffy. Something just big enough they can cuddle with it while asleep, but not so big it will get in the way.

But if you want an abdl kink kit, you'll need extra bulky diapers with babyish prints. A tub of vaseline and an extra large stuffy you can lay on top of and hump. Possibly a penis cage too.
