Pullups under a Diaper

As it's easy to soak a pull-up fairly fast. I was wondering if anyone has tried wear a pull-up under their diaper to act as a booster? I never felt like actual boosters improved absorption as it just seems to make the diaper leak faster for me. Filling a diaper without leaking is much easier without a booster for me.

Only seems to work with diapers that have taller leak guards otherwise they just swell up and can leak. At least that has been my experience with wearing a pull up as a booster.

I do it sometimes when wearing a cloth diaper. I use the ones I get from thrift stores and also line it with a booster, usually a cloth baby diaper, that way it can last all day without leaking. It makes it really thick enough that I waddle sometimes.

I tried it once. It was a failure, and personally I found it to be uncomfortable. If you do try, there are a few things to keep in mind. One, the crotch of the diaper should be wider than the pull-up. Two, the diaper needs good standing leg guards, and the pull-up must be contained inside the leg guards when you put the diaper on. Three, in order for the wetness to go from the pull-up to the diaper you have to cut slits or holes in the outer cover of the pull-up.

pulls-up's are just big bladder pads once you take the stuff off like waist band. I had a case of pull ups that was given to me years ago i cut up and used as diaper suffers. i took box cutter knife and made little slits in bottom of pull up. works great for cheap diapers that don't hold much.
