Tykables store - worth a visit?

I might travel to the Chicago area later this summer, and I'm looking for things I might do while there. I've been to one or two ABDL-aware diaper shops before. What kind of selection do they have? Is it a proper store, or just a warehouse? Is it worth taking a car there and having to deal with parking throughout my whole vacation? If you've been, what was it like?

I've been there once and it was a proper store, they have diapers, onesies etc, etc, all Tykables brand of course.

They have diapers to put on in the bathroom if you want too.

Parking was fine but it shares a parking lot with other places in the building complex.

It's definitely worth a visit.

When was the last time you visited. I remember a location that was in a strip mall and more recently in a light industrial park.

I was there this past June, I enjoyed the stop in, and had a good experience. Parking is not a worry, it’s off street, and as mentioned it is a shared lot. It is in an industrial park, so expect that type of surroundings. Sorry I didn’t a few photos, when I was there, maybe next time. But it’s not a short trip for me, New Jersey to Chicago Illinois needs planning. I was visiting a friend in the area, and he is a frequent customer there. He was only too happy, to make the trip with me.
Good trip, enjoy!

I remember it being in an industrial park kind of area. I think near O'Hare?

If you bring your car then you have more room for cases of diapers.  Win-win

Oh that's awesome! I've never been but I'd love to road trip and go. It's on my bucket list. I like their website, and I've only heard good things about the store. Hence me wanting to go. :roflmao:  If you get a chance you should definitely go! We only live once, might as well make the most of it!

The other great thing about a road trip to there Tykables store is if you are a fan of Northshore Diapers, their warehouse is nearby.

It's not an ABDL mecca or by any stretch of the imagination or have a showroom, but they do offer warehouse pickup. If you were at Tykables and needed additional supplies.

@DAQ I would like to meet @NorthShoreAdam as he is a cool guy.  I know he wouldn't give a tour but just to meet him would be nice.

They are 35 min away from Tykables give or take traffic.

I still think it would be cool just to go to an actual brick and mortar abdl store. Online is very cool and convenient, but there's nothing quite like setting foot in a store that sells ABDL diapers and seeing abdl diapers (and abdl gear?) on the shelf. Like in my mind it feels like it would be physically (and maybe mentally/ emotionally) validating in a physical sense? Like it's proof that other ABDLs are real, out there in the real world, not just existing in cyber space, and there's enough of us out there to support a real actual store. Or maybe my imagination is getting the best of me. 🤣

I've been to multiple stores in the U.S and the store in the Chicago and they have many good Tykable stock and the costomer service was great. The best store I've been to though was the one in Denver. They have a hugh stock of diapers including cloth ones, booster pad all kind of clothes on racks and all other things. Their customer service has been great each time I was there, she even remembered my face the second time I visited. I have had nothing but good service in every store that I've visited and they have been able to answer my question and needs. I do order most of my stuff online as Minnesota doesn't have any stores, but I would prefer to go to an actual store and do on my travels if one is near by.
