Deimos_phobos Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I was in one last october, It was really boring aside from the nice childish tasks they made me do all day, Like coloring and crafts. I am now medicated and feel much better than i did before. Anyone else? 1
Snugglebear_69 Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Once and it was the absolute, unequivocally worst experience. I do not recommend it to anyone.

PAYTONWinn Posted April 2 Posted April 2 I’m glad you’re willing to talk about it. If you don’t mind me asking, what helped you get through the tougher moments?

If you don’t mind me asking, what helped you get through the tougher moments? honestly for me? i made friends on the inside, i still talk to them after my last stay. but the support from my found family on the outside and them telling me to tough it out was amazing. It was definitely worth toughing it out. For me its a bit tougher, I'm disabled and trans and my last stay was with transphobic staff. luckily their were a lot of queer and nonbinary people I stuck with and allys. the best thing to do is find people like you on the inside.
