Noticing "greyed out" screen when posting

Today I've noticed that when Ive been submitting new posts today that the screen goes gray (not blank, but like its "greyed out").  My post apparently did get submitted, but the browser is behaving as if the server hasn't finished processing the response.

Yeah, I get that sometimes. I usually wait a good 30 seconds to be sure the post submitted, and then just hit the home button

OK... so it's not me (or  something wrong with my computers).   So far it hasn't been an issue but figured I'd report it just in case.   Of course, both the original post and my reply here submit without any issues.

I've had that happen quite a bit the past few months. I just refresh and it's finished. (Scared me a few times as I was posting story chapters) I find it's most likely to occur when a comment will roll a post over to a new page.

Might I ask what browser you use? May be browser-brand specific?
