undertheradar Posted February 7 Posted February 7 so I went ahead and tried something so, somebody on the internet did a video where they talked about diaper boosters and diaper doublers... and then they said if you don't have doublers or boosters that you can take another diaper and put it inside.. just cut off the tapes and the wings and poke some holes in the bottom.. well I went ahead and tried that and put it inside of another diaper that does okay... and I am incredibly impressed.. I have been away from the house for about 4 hours now and there are no leaks don't feel like I'm anywhere near running out of capacity honestly even though it's bulky I feel like everybody might be able to see it.. it's pretty obvious that it's not really noticeable... but more importantly it's surprisingly comfortable I think I might buy some doublers like the tranquility top liner.. it seems like that could be a good option.. or alternatively some of the cheaper diapers that I have.. maybe I could modify those and use those as doublers.. all of a sudden these cheap diapers don't seem like such a waste of money 2
JustMe.dk Posted February 12 Posted February 12 I use boosters occasionally and they work pretty well in terms of increasing capacity, but it comes with a price and that is ending up in an incredibly heavy and very wet diaper.
Dicalecus Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Initially I also thought a diaper booster is cheaper than a diaper, but after some calculation a diaper is actually cheaper, at least in UK. When you calculate price per 1000ml of absorption, the standard tena ultima is pretty good.
deewet Posted June 20 Posted June 20 For the past several months, I have been using up all my older products that were tried, and failed to give me enough protection, as boosters in my overnight diaper. Its amazing how much these thin pullups add to my diaper package capacity. I also use my day pad if not too wet, so I sometimes have a package of pullup, pad, and Tena super under my urethane diaper cover. Some mornings this diaper seems like it weighs 8 lbs, but that would be about a gallon of wee, and even on worst nights, doubt that could happen.
Slomo Posted June 21 Posted June 21 If you need a cheap but effective booster then use a baby diaper. They have an incredibly high absorption capability for their price. And the side tabs rip off very easily.
