Japanese Diapers

Recommended Posts

Japan? Seriously, have you really searched all over the internet? I would expect that you would have to order them. I doubt that you could buy Japaneesse diapers in a store in the UK.

Hi

I have searched the internet , but have had no joy , there are Japanese sites , but there is no English translation, which in turn would make it very difficult to order

Thanks for your help

Save Express (www.ohwe.de) has some ...

albeit I must warn you the english version of the online shop would need some serious overhaul... but I guess it's comprehensible...

Okay so fill me in here, why do we all want Japanese Diapers? Any better or just different designs?

don't really know... never had some ;)

but speaking only for myself of course, I can say that I like the way they make their "plastic pants/diaper covers"... it makes a lot of sense and also looks better than most western plastic pant/covers I've seen so far... also they're something different... and that serves as some "attraction point" too. (Don't we all just once in a while fancy what we don't have? ;) )

...

their disposables (at least a very few some of them) are quite above most we can get here in europe when it comes to real-life comfort and use...

I for one would really wish we could get some of the disposable products here in europe easily... at "normal" prices ...

sure there's no big deal ordering from japan,... but costs for shipment of minor quantities is way too much.

I would pay top dollar to import some products from Japan... http://www.omutsu.co.jp has some amazing products there.

Unfortunately, I've tried contacting them and had no response multiple times. I doubt someone like J-List would really be interested, but there has to be some importer that would be willing to ship on a per-order basis. This shouldn't be rocket science... and I shouldn't have to go to Japan to get their hyper-kinky lineup.

Not that it wouldn't make a bad excuse to book a trip *checks calendar*

can someone translate the names of the diaper movies on that site?

For J->E put this URL in your address bar and replace the full URL of the Japanese site you want to read from the part in red.

http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/web/?wb_url=http://www.sanwa-pub.com/webshop/v-shop/shop.cgi?class=12/0&wb_lp=JAEN&wb_dis=2

Heres the live link to start you off. It's then translate-as-you-surf, like Babelfish, you might have to toggle the combo box in the excite pane at the top if you get a page not displayed screen.

http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/web/...EN&wb_dis=2

Omutsu and Pants site:

http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/web/...EN&wb_dis=2

Always have this bit after your URL

&wb_lp=JAEN&wb_dis=2

Here's my fave Nihongo site

http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/web/...EN&wb_dis=2

click on purple writing in LH frame, here is URL out of frame

http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/web/...EN&wb_dis=2

Some nice pants/rompers/dresses used in their photo shoots, here's just one of them

http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/web/...EN&wb_dis=2

I just love Japanese style... the meticulous attention to detail, the clean lines, when cute, supercute. Their omutsu covers live up to that

cheers, smarti

I don't know if it helps anyone, but I spent a semester studying in Japan in 2004 and had a chance to try a number of brands. Overall they are very into the descreet diapers for adults. Half of the adult disposables at stores were pull-up style and the other half were cloth-covered with a landing strip for regular tapes, or occasionally velcro. I did find plastic diapers once, but could never locate that brand again. None of the ones I tried held much more than a US Attends (waistband). Some of them used a channeling method with lines running straight down the length of the diaper. At best I'd hope the market is like the US, with higher-quality products only online. There were lots of brands at the stores I had been too but that may be just because of the age distribution in Japan.

I wasn't fluent enough to figure out ordering online and I didn't feel a need to spend too much time looking for reusable diapers in Japan (so much else to do!), though they do look interesting. Not the best overview, but I hope this helps in developing a perspective of Japanese disposables.

Most Japanese companies won't ship to UK but you can use a shopping service.

I would like to order from some Japanese sites like O&P, but they do not ship outside of Japan. Can you tell me more about a 'shopping service'? I would pay someone to order them and ship them to me.

Does anyone have a link to Retro Hall. (Retro Temple). IT was a JApanese site with some nice stuff but now it appears to have changed URL or gone offline. (it was Kakaido ro something like that.

After looking at both, I guess it doesn't hurt to quote them. I'll make a list of stuff I want from O&P and see who will order it for less!

Edit: Just noticed O&P is doing 40% off diaper covers from now to the 20th! Yay!

Edit 2: I just realized the enamel diaper cover would cost over $200 to import. *Facepalm*

I purchased about 5 diaper covers from Omutsu.co.jp and I used Rinkya.com as the shopping service. They charged about $30 for the service of them buying for me and the shipping was about 50$ for 3-Day shipping. They may be expensive but they are the best made AB clothing in the world, that is a fact. I also picked up a few japanese AB movies through babygals.jp.hp and www.mcs13.com. Definately give it a shot if you want these diaper covers and clothing from Japan. I am contemplating whether I will buy these and sell them here in the states.

Could you tell us how you can do this?

If you do that, I will totally by them from you. I've been looking for the diaper covers FOREVER!! I just don't know how else to get them anymore!
