ddjas03 Posted September 7, 2025 Posted September 7, 2025 I just watched The Naked Gun [2025] last week and never have I laughed so hard in the cinema. It's the kind of film with silly puns and jokes, tons of 4th wall breaking and trope-mocking & since it's short [85 mins, 80 mins without end credits], it keeps the comedy coming without overstaying at all, real refreshing. I also saw The Bad Guys 2 which I also loved. Sony Animation really shook animation up with the Spider-Verse films & it shows with the super unique art-styles that Dreamworks has been using. It is also just a lot of fun & honestly cool. 1

barnburner Posted September 14, 2025 Posted September 14, 2025 Kpop Demon Hunters. Dont let the name fool you, it is 99% entirely in english, even the music. The main characters are voiced by North American based actors, USA and Canadian. 1
Snugglebear_69 Posted September 14, 2025 Posted September 14, 2025 My Daddy and I just got back from watching The Long Walk. It had some great atmospheric choices but did deviate from the original book in one significant aspect which annoyed me.
Crinklz Kat Posted September 15, 2025 Posted September 15, 2025 I just finished watching "The Expendables". I haven't yet watched #4 (which I got nearly 2 years ago), so figured I'll do #s 1 to 3 first. Last one I saw in theater was the last Mission Impossible movie. I've got quite the collection of movies on my Plex server I ripped from my Blu Rays or DVDs (I have purchased everything that's on my server). I've slowed down my purchases, but still have quite a few I have yet to watch. Long ago, it wasn't unusual for me to see a movie in theater at least once or twice per month, and I was buying stuff on DVD almost every week. Tuesday is usually when new releases come out and my coworkers and I would make a trip to Best Buy during lunch break.
Kaleros Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 The last film I watched was Spinal Tap 2: The End Continues. It was very entertaining and hilarious.
the_squishy_one Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 I fell asleep last night watching No Country For Old Men.
wyrdone Posted September 22, 2025 Posted September 22, 2025 I just watched Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle this weekend. 2h45m run time.
Kaleros Posted October 3, 2025 Posted October 3, 2025 The last film I watched was One Battle After Another. It was a thrilling, revolutionary, rollercoaster ride.

Sony Animation really went from The Emoji Movie and mediocre family flicks to the Spider Verse films, The Mitchells vs. the Machines & K-Pop Demon Hunters. I have been interested in the animation stuff recently and idk if it's my more childish side but they are getting seriously good On 10/3/2025 at 9:25 PM, oliver d said: In a movie theater Star Wars Rise of Skywalker since then nothing that has interested me to go I can see why you didn't want to see anything after The Rise of Skywalker, that film was cheeks. Guest Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 May be a little old school, but the last movie I watched was "Indiana Jones: Raiders of The Lost Ark". My favorite line in the movie is where he shows his overwhelming fear of snakes, known as Ophideophobia by saying: "Snakes! Why did it have to be snakes?!" I say this line a lot at my job when I am processing a case of belts which are snake-like.
BBoy Posted October 22, 2025 Posted October 22, 2025 Ratatouille- teaching middle school and played part of it during lunch for the kids. Keeps them calm while eating... 🙃
