Words that push’s your buttons?

Do you have a special word or phrase that pushes your buttons?

For me there are some sentences that bring me almost instantly back to my mind 10 years old.

1)
Most triggering is this one. My babysitter said before she put me the first time back in diapers because I wet the bed the other night:

„Will we put you in diapers again tonight?“

(Saying it with a sweet evil sound in her voice. Holding a pair of white plastic pants above me)

2)

As this Psychiatrist said to the my mother (after a long meeting because of my dyslexia where I had to „confess“ everything about my bedwetting, being 9 years old)

„Why don’t you put him back in diapers for the first. It will help for better sleep and less conflict in the family?“

3)

„Tom put your plastic cover back on the bed.

I cleaned the mattress! We will go back to potty training.“

4)

As my mother later said:

„Tonight this bedwetter pants better stay where they are if don’t want to get another „training day“ in your diapers.

(I sometimes did take the diapers of as a child)

5)

As my YOUNGER sister said once:

„Tom! Mom said you are allowed to sleep without diapers tonight, but I should make sure you use the bathroom twice this evening so you doesn't wet the bed. Otherwise, we will have to put you in diapers again.“

6)

My aunt did say:

„Tom, you know what's coming next!

Please get off your pyjama bottoms. I will but you in your plastic pants.

We won‘t risk another wet bed.“

7)

„Do you want to sleep without a diaper next week like Fred? He is 4 years old. You're not a baby anymore.“

😎

„I know this is all very embarrassing for you. But you will get used to your new diapers soon. So stop arguing, take of your pyjama bottoms and lay down next to the plastic pants.“

in general any Babyish mention in an unexpected moment or someone telling me something as they would to a kid makes me go blank for a second.

Sometimes just hearing someone say the word "DIAPER" will give me that quick blank stare, like my mind is saying "They Said Diaper"!!

The words RUBBER PANTS are potent for me.  Mom said it over and over … RUBBER PANTS beyond infancy is disgusting, disgraceful.  I should be ashamed.
