When you accidentally reveal your kink

I have an online friend who is 38 years old (we’ve known each other since I was 15). Today, I was gonna send him something cringey I saw on instagram reels.

I use a free vpn to use DD site and I can not use incognito mode due to restrictions I have on my phone. (I’m 18 years old but since my mom still pays for my phone bill, she requires restrictions).

Let’s just say I accidentally sent a DD link instead. Revealing my kink to a grown ass man was not on my bingo card today. I’ve silenced my notifications and I’m ignoring him rn but.

Idk what even to say to him or to make him not think I’m weird.

Might just end the friendship now honestly. Sucks cause I’ve severely codependent on this individual

At least give him a chance to be understanding

I’ve known him long enough to know that this is a friendship ending situation

Years ago I got a seperate account from a local ISP to use for my AB/DL stuff.   Little did I know that a long time friend who worked at the ISP was also into the same stuff and figured out what I was doing.

I did get a few other incidents where other people knew what was going on over the years, but mostly it's been safe.

Actually, there have been a few times when I probably should have been more open.   One time when ordering some adult (cloth) diapers through Sears, the girl at the catalog desk wanted to "open the outer package" just to "make sure it was OK."   In retrospect, I think she was genuinly curious, but back then I was mortified.

I may be wrong, but my first impression... Just 'gaslight' the whole thing.  If they don't bring it up, don't you either. If they say something be like, "What??  Don't know what you're talking about... are you sure it was from me????  Maybe I got hacked??  Let me check...."

Or if they persist, and/ or you WANT to go further... well that's something you'll have to decide but... tread slowly...???

Put yourself in his shoes. If someone sent you the link and then they ghosted you wouldn't that be irrefutable proof that you are ABDL and you sent it by mistake.

What do you have to lose if you do the exact opposite of what you want to do. Don't freak out. Just send him a text that says gotcha, I was just messing with you. He's more likely to laugh than disbelieve you.

Hugs,

Freta

Update: I told him I was sending the link to a friend because I got it as an ad on Blockblast (the app is 17+ so they can use porn ads).
he said he didn’t see the message. Idk if he’s lying or not but we’ve been on relatively good terms.
we’ve played Mario kart the last 3 days together.

Good for you for hanging in there, disappearing would have confirmed his worst suspicions if he had them.
