His bladder was removed after discovering the cancer. At least he’s in good spirits about

“I depend on Depends,” he said, adding that he has a friendly competition with his young grandson about who can have the heaviest diaper at the end of the night.”

I was wondering about that.  I don't think he could make through a full game day on a single depends.  Somebody needs to let him know about better quality diapers.

Glad hes being positive about it, could be a good ambasador for incontinence acceptance.

He's signed a deal. I hope he doesn't have any problems during a game.

Hes a coach now I dont think he plays anymore.....maybe though.

Also great to have such a famous celebrity in our corner. Even if its medical condition. Hes bringing it into the norm.

He's coaching, but he'll be out on the sidelines for a few hours at a time. I'm just hoping he doesn't have any leaks if he's really using Depends. It could be worse though, he could be using Attends.

Glad he's got a positive attitude after going through so much. I hope him being a celebrity and being open about his medical issue helps further destigmatize incontinence and adult diapers. People should't feel ashamed of having a medical condition or disability, or shamed for how they hadle those issues.

With no bladder he'd have a slow drip as urine is produced... just the thing Depend are decent at for a couple hours, so not a bad partnership. Depend don't work for me, but they have a place in the incont world.

Have two friends who have had bladder cancer and got a neobladder (essentially an artificial one formed out of some spare intestine).    Not as good as the real thing, but not a continuous dribble.

Mad respect for the man for publicly embracing what was once a dreaded social stigma. There is still much work to be done but this is the exposure is good for our community even if it indirectly helps.

Should’ve signed a deal with Northshore care, Trest, or even Rearz but they don’t have a large bank account as Depends.
