At least he’s in good spirits about “I depend on Depends,” he said, adding that he has a friendly competition with his young grandson about who can have the heaviest diaper at the end of the night.” 4

I don't think he could make through a full game day on a single depends. Somebody needs to let him know about better quality diapers. 1
DailyDi Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 Glad hes being positive about it, could be a good ambasador for incontinence acceptance. 3

Too late. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2025/07/28/deion-sanders-depend-underwear-bladder-cancer-colorado-football/85415232007/ He's signed a deal. I hope he doesn't have any problems during a game.
Young1 Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 Hes a coach now I dont think he plays anymore.....maybe though. Also great to have such a famous celebrity in our corner. Even if its medical condition. Hes bringing it into the norm. 1

I'm just hoping he doesn't have any leaks if he's really using Depends. It could be worse though, he could be using Attends. 1
Cute_Kitten Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 Glad he's got a positive attitude after going through so much. I hope him being a celebrity and being open about his medical issue helps further destigmatize incontinence and adult diapers. People should't feel ashamed of having a medical condition or disability, or shamed for how they hadle those issues.
DailyDi Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 With no bladder he'd have a slow drip as urine is produced... just the thing Depend are decent at for a couple hours, so not a bad partnership. Depend don't work for me, but they have a place in the incont world. 1
willnotwill Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 Have two friends who have had bladder cancer and got a neobladder (essentially an artificial one formed out of some spare intestine). Not as good as the real thing, but not a continuous dribble.
diapered charles Posted August 2, 2025 Posted August 2, 2025 Mad respect for the man for publicly embracing what was once a dreaded social stigma. There is still much work to be done but this is the exposure is good for our community even if it indirectly helps. 1
ValentinesStuff Posted August 30, 2025 Posted August 30, 2025 Apparently even Depends knows about their quality. And a news story. https://www.on3.com/college/colorado-buffaloes/news/colorado-debuts-sideline-toilet-for-deion-sanders-gets-adult-diaper-sponsorship/
JamieJamie Posted September 3, 2025 Posted September 3, 2025 Should’ve signed a deal with Northshore care, Trest, or even Rearz but they don’t have a large bank account as Depends.
Permanently Pampered Posted September 3, 2025 Posted September 3, 2025 I say congratulations to Deion Saunders for being so forward and becoming a advocate.
