Mens laser hair removal

I finally got tired of shaving and the ingrown hairs. I called around and found a place that does men laser hair removal. I have an appointment this week, we will see how it goes. I picked up a cunningham clamp and hope I do not have spasms during the treatment. I will update as I go for those curious.

Ah the old Cunningham clamp. I have one on hand in case I HAVE to stay dry for a while, but haven't needed it in years.

I hear that. And at my age, I'm scared just how loudly they'd laugh, or worse make sounds/ statements of disgust...  "Ewww... you want us to do ... down there..  Ewww..."

Oh for sure.  At 50 i finally said screw it ,let em laugh or make comments.  These ingrowns really bug me.  I have shaved, nair'd, trimmed, let run wild for 20+years.  I just want it done finally.

I would hope that they were professional enough to wait until you leave. As for the down there, aren't they doing it down there on the ladies?

They do, but I was told that to avoid any "issues", many I asked would not do men.  This place seems professional, has great reviews and the prices sounded reasonable. About $150 per session.  As I am incontinent and have been for a very long time, this is not just some fetish thing to get off.   I ha e appreciated the professional conversations I have had with them through the process so far.  I really hope this helps me keep clean and eases my morning routine.

Sure, but probably not on 60+ yo ladies. Just saying, nobody really wants to see me nakee at my age.  lol

So would you have personal use suggestions of the best way to not have to shave personal areas? I have gotten ingrown hairs and hate it, so I just have been using a beard trimmer to keep trimmed, but then I get spiked with short hairs . I hope you keep us informed on how it goes with the appointment.

I got the same trimming.  Damn sharp ends!  It is a battle.  Shave and get ingrowns.  Trim and get razor sharp hairs.  Cream removers and burn your bits cause you went 30sec too long.  Let it grow and smell like urine soaked sweaty socks alm day.  I really hope this helps.  I looked at the home devices but they are grossly less powerful and about on par for cost over time from the looks.  I might be wrong, but this thread will live on as I progress.

I shaved some of mine the other day. OUCH OUCH I cut a little close and caught some skin. I used a trimmer shaver.

Thanks I have had some bad experiences also, and can't afford to do it professionally, unless its cheap and good, thats hard to find in anything..

I have done that with my razor and even with the beard trimmer, I make sure to have an attachment on it, but some how it cut my sack with that on,, I just for now keep it kinda short. Best I can do for now..

I had the appointment yesterday and it went very well. I showed up and filled out the 100 forms, man they have to figure a way to reduce the load of paperwork for offices.

We went back to the room, and she discussed what I wanted and my hair/skin type. She explained the machine and how it would feel as she went, like a rubber band snapping on your skin. She let me know it needs to be done every 6 weeks due to hair growth cycles and that given my type, I should see a pretty solid reduction after the 3rd session, but may need more after that. I informed her that I was incontinent and that I had a clamp that I would wear to make sure not to make a mess. She did not even bat an eye and said she places a pad down for clients getting services there as well anyways and she was not worried. She said they had a special seat for treatment of incontinence as well if I wanted to try that. It forces kegals to occur to strengthen the floor. I explained mine came from some incidents over the years in that area and also that I had battled with cancer and as such no longer have testicles or a scrotum. She said, oh yeah that would probably not help much then and that the session would be much easier without the extra parts. Kind of made my laugh at her casualness about it.

Then she said I needs to take my pants and underwear off and to get on the table. She went back to the paperwork and I timidly undressed right there with her. I used a velcro diaper so that I could reuse after. I was a bit worried, would I be seen as odd to wear a previously soiled but not at its limit diaper and should use a new one, or should I use a new one and figure out how to dispose of the used in her office. I went for reusable as I had just changed an hour or two before the session at work.

I got the clamp on while still diapered, and finished undressing. I got up on the table and told her I would like mid-thigh to belly button to be hair free. She said no problem and we got started. Even though I had shaved, she needed to dry shave the stragglers I missed or could not see. She was very very professional and treated manipulating my penis to get to the hairs like it were anything else.

As she went, she discussed more about what to expect and after care. Around the base of the penis was sensitive and in the taint, it definitely got my attention. It was nothing you cannot handle though. She was quite thorough and went up the sides of the base of the penis to get those hairs as well. Once she did everything, she asked me to open my legs more and did the insides of my thighs and the crevasse at the legs.

Then she asked me to flip over and she repeated the process of dry shave and laser on my buttocks and around the anus. It was all done in less than 15 min or so. Once done she applied aloe to all of the areas lasered and said we are done. She turned back around to clean up and finish paperwork as I rediapered and put my clothes back on.

Overall the process was just like getting a haircut and she made no fuss or anything about the whole session. Super professional, easy to handle, and not nearly as awkward as I had expected.

After dressing we discuss that as I am getting older, I now have some very light colored hairs and how those will not be treated well, and asked if I would be interested in electrolysis later for them. I booked a follow up for September. They had a package deal for 6 sessions for $900, quite reasonable for me.

This morning it feels like I have razor burn in the area, so I applied some diaper cream after my shower that has aloe in it and that helped a little. I will apply that through out the day as I change as I have a long day ahead and have planned out when/where I can change.

I just realized how my energy I put into my thoughts for each day as I prepare in the morning. I have to figure out how long I will be away from home, how many diapers I will need as well as creams/powder and waste bags, locations for changes, timing based on expected liquid intake, and determining if I can void before leaving the house, or will I possibly have a BM later. WOW, I have forgotten what it was like to just get dressed and run!

I have accepted the incontinence and when asked, tell people, I do not "suffer from it" but that "I live with it". Sure has been a weird 20 or so years!

I hope this helps others and if you have any questions let me know. I will update after Septembers session and I really think I might do electrolysis on the light colored hairs too since there is no real awkwardness now.

My Dom Asian Husband had me lasered smooth between the legs about 10 years ago so my very small endowment would be especially visible in the gym locker room.

The laser removal spa staff was very professional, no inappropriate comments, and they eased my awkwardness. i got great results, very smooth.

i hope anyone else undergoing laser hair removal in the genital area also has a good experience.

I looked into it from Milan Laser and it was $6,000 after a half off discount. $11,000 for bikini and and face. The entire consultation was professional and I even told her it was for incontinence. A very pleasant experience but way to high for me.

I also went to Milan. Brazilian plus is what I got. Results after just 2 sessions is awesome. Staff is pretty cool and easy going. Said a surprising amount of men have it done.

Kinda want to do this but would probably preserve a bit in the upper pubic area so I could prove I'm a natural redhead lol. Unfortunately don't think my hair type is suited to it as it's pretty light.

I had full laser hair removal of my body  a few years ago.  When they worked on the hair removal in the private areas, they had a second woman in the room at the same time.  I paid a fairly large amount of money to remove the hair over about a 6 month period, it should be noted that some of you hair will return in the future. Almost none of my leg hair has returned, my hair on my arms and armpit has not returned, some of the hair around the chest area and private areas has returned, but it is far less than I originally had.

The first time I went in to have hair removal, I went without a diaper because I didn't want them to see me in a diaper while removing hair. The problem is when they worked on the removal of hair around sensitive areas of the body, I involuntarily peed a few times, and was told that I would need to wear protection for any future sessions. During my future session they would leave only my diaper on, and open it up when doing hair removal in those areas.

I had a second round today.  I have noticed a serious reduction in the amount of hair and speed upon which it returns.  There was a strip of hair that obviously got missed on my first appointment, as it came in very heavy, but around it was almost nothing.  Now that I am not shaving anymore, I am seeing the white or transparent hairs much more easily now.  I spoke to them about how to deal with that and they said electrolysis is best for those, so I will do that Monday morning.  That I guess is a weekly thing, vs every 6 weeks like laser.  She was very helpful and professional delivering the services.  I was a little shocked by how little she cared about the penis flopping around as she lasered away.  She just moved it and asked me about my day like it was nothing.  Not having to deal with ingrowns or razor burn has been very nice and I am very excited and happy that I made the decision to do this.  She said I seem to have a very high pain threshold as most people she works on would have tapped out or complained, so keep that in mind if you decide to try this.  

I will update after my next round for lighter hairs.

I got the electrolysis done this week.  I was very unsure about it, so I just went with it.  When I arrived, she gave me a little cream and said apply it where you want it done.  I chuckled a little, thinking, no way this is covering the area.  I went to the bathroom, undid my diaper, tried my best to spread it over the area, and finished up.  She had me wait 30 minutes before we started.  It was supposed to numb the area, but I do not think it really did anything.  We entered the treatment room and discussed how the process would work.  She was clear that it will take quite a few treatments, and it is not 100% effective in removing all hair. I watched her load a new end on the device that zaps the hair.  I told her about my incontinence and that I might leak.  She laughed and said she had seen it all, and I was not the first to have an accident, if it happens.  She had a pad down for me already.  I was a bit shy when she said get naked from the waist down and get on the bed.  I took my shorts off and folded them, and placed them on the chair.  Undoing my onsie and taking off my plastic pants was a bit awkward as she was watching.  I again took the diaper loose, jumped on the bed, and just left the diaper on top of the pile.  She jumped right in and wiped the area down.  She did a few hairs and some I barely felt, while others really hurt.  It was like a hot needle poking me.  She made some small talk as she worked on each of the hairs.  When we got to about the 15 min mark, and my bladder started to spasm.  She felt it and asked me if I was ok.  I was trying to do everything I could to clench.  A few more minutes, and I felt like I was going to explode, so I told her we needed a break.  I jumped up, grabbed my diaper, and tried to put it over myself.  Unfortunately, I did not make it in time.  There was a small puddle beneath me, while the rest of my void went into the diaper with a hiss from the pressure.  She sat there watching this whole thing.  I felt humiliated.  Once it stopped and I had regained what composure I could muster, she said Are you ready to keep going?  I shook my head and got back on the table.  We finished out the session without much more discussion.  At the end of the 30 min, she said and we are done for the day and started to clean up.  She asked if I wanted to try 60 minutes next time.  I shook my head, but asked if she was ok with what happened, as we might need to do the same again.  She said she did not care and was ok if I was.  We will try in a week or so and see, I guess.  It was nice that she was understanding, did not laugh at me, and treated it as no big deal.  I cleaned up the puddle and got dressed again.  She said she would clean it up, but there was no way I was going to let that happen.  Overall, a very awkward but interesting interaction.  I shaved when I got home, and now, about a week later, there is very little new hair growth.  She said if I can avoid shaving until the next session, that will help her see the hairs to get.  The next laser treatment is scheduled for later October to remove the dark hairs, for which she wants me to be shaved.

I went in today having not shaved for 2 weeks.  She was surprised at how well I am responding as there was very little hair growing.  She spent about 30 min going after the clear/white hairs without numbing cream this time.  I refrained from fluids today to see if I could go 30 min without peeing, and barely made it.  As soon as she was done and I was up putting the diaper on while she cleaned up.  It did hurt quite a bit more today.  I have some lidocaine spray I will use next time.  She thinks every 2 weeks is a good cadence so we will go for that.

I have had 4 rounds of Laser, and 5 of Electrolysis now.  The laser has been very effective and I can go weeks of not shaving before I really notice any black hairs.  The white/blonde hairs are a bit more stubborn.  Of the two styles, the electrolysis hurts worse and takes longer for sure.  I will have the next round in a few weeks, but overall I am very happy with where this is going and the level of success so far.  Well worth it.
