You are plenty old enough that you can have dribbling as an excuse, if she won't accept it, I am not condoning Lies, but it took 10 yrs for my wife to even get to some kind of acceptance of me loving diapers. If I had it to do over I would have started to pee my pants, and the bed, and had the reason to wear. Now that I need them somewhat she's much better.. But we had many heated discussions before getting here.

I may get flack for this comment but it is my feelings

Once you tell her the truth, no matter how much you leak without diapers down the road she won't believe you need them..

You can really only tell her the truth and hope for acceptance. Lying will come back bite you at some point, it almost always does.

That said, you can't make her accept it. She either will or won't and if you've been married awhile before now she may view you telling her only now as you not trusting her or worse a long standing lie of onission both of which can be very damaging to a relationship.

So true. Once I told my ex that I enjoyed them, she started 'seeing' all sorts of things that weren't actually true. One time out for a walk, she asked if I had wet my pants. I wasn't wearing a diaper, nor had I wet them. But she thought some shadow/ dark spot in my crotch was me wetting on purpose (but she didn't believe my protests, nor would touch them to verify they were dry).

Other instances where she thought I had done something on purpose to get her to accept my diapers. (an accidental dribble on the floor in front of the toilet... I small skid-mark in my underwear... many things that were totally innocent little slips, but she was convinced I was doing things on purpose).

Yes I we have been married 30 yrs and I told her about 10 yrs into it, and she still does  not fully believe I can't go without a diaper . So you take the chance if she Loves you enough to accept it, but my wife said sooo many time that she felt like I had cheated on her with diapers, so I do think 🤔 if I had told her before we got married,, she may not have married me??  Because I don't think she would have said Oh thats ok.... and I would be with someone else. See when we got married I had a handle on it as soo many on DD has said, and I didn't need diaper play until there was some sort of stress ? and then I had hid it for several yrs, then by the time she got cancer I was stressed and weak, and I let my guard down, but she saw it all as soo much negativity.....

I don't really know what the answer is,

Ok, I know that I'm late, is your wife a person that would be more upset that you have been hiding this? No response needed, just throwing out the thought.
