Chapter 1 -  Last 10 Years and where we stand now  

10 Years Later, even more has happened. Suzy  mother  is a Senior Nurse Practitioner, (other seniors left or retired so most senior Nurse in the practice ) and her father now owns 50% of the factory he has worked at for virtually all his life. Suzy is a PA for Dr Christina Reynolds , a lady doctor who specialises is gynaecology , pregnancies and the like. Her AB/DL Daddy (Jeff) is still a developer , of 16 years in total. Their house was extended a couple of years ago, for 3 extra bedrooms. One was for the room Jeff brought previously in a shed when he moved in, as well as more spare rooms).

Lisas father – having  wiped the floor with his Taxi operation (taking over 3 in Dundee (Tele, City Cabs and Ferry Cabs),   plus expanding  just beyond Dundee to Angus (Monifieth Taxis ) and Fife (Tayport Cabs) and is also  in negotiations with Perth’s biggest taxi company wants to sell out as the owners’ retiring at 70 (ABC)  make 6. With that in mind , His daughter Lisa is Manager overlooking all 5 now soon 6 Despatch Offices (her former job!) on job share with someone else doing the other 2 days a week.

With her father Brian having more money with acquisitions – even with very generous trust funds for all 3 Daughters and grandkids and future potential future grandkids too   AND great grand kids too! everything and everyone paid at his death too and his wife), Brian has set up the Smith  Benevolent Fund. This offers Dundonians , pus 50 miles beyond City boundary, who need financial assistance. The fund is open to individuals,  community groups and charities alike. Monthly Board  Meetings (with Lisa , her Dundee based sister   Anna (still a nurse but now working nights at Accident and Emergency at Ninewells Hospital Dundee), her Father and  or 2 of a Solicitor friends (usually always one or the other or the other also decide who gets what. As It is still relatively new;, only twice  did they get more applications than money, but in those instances they can try the next month.  he has no intentions of retiring and was awarded the CBE for charity and transport work  from King Charles 2 years ago in the New Years Honours list .

Her mother is still a homemaker and her AB/DL Daddy – a developer of 17 years – still works the same but for a new company.  Their home was similarly expanded with a Punishment  Room (including their very own St Andrews cross punishment frame) and spare bedrooms too.

BUT – the kids (35 on paper , 2 as Littles) are becoming Mothers! You see, Lisas middle sister (Still in Dundee)  now has three kids. So with this in mind, and during her third pregnancy, Lisa started brooding (second time in a month)! . The discussion with  her partner was agreeable, her eldest sister  ( had suggested being on the foster care list  (all bar 1 of her kids having left home), she had more room.  Eldest sister Lucy (and her hubby  Brian) She has adopted since a Brother/sister 1 year apart  , age 8/9.  All four bodies (including Suzy/Jeff to save time if they decided too)  were checked before, and  no conditions apparent to stop pregnancy – bar their contraception! With some room spare , Lisa and Steve agreed to try fostering before trying for their own .After a couple of placements, (Subsequently more) it was agreed try for their own. 2 years ago Lisa’s IUD was re moved, and nine months  ago she gave birth to the littlest little – a 8llb baby boy called Jayden! No decision for any more and she intends to have an IUD again in one weeks time.  With her vag ready for sex in a couple of weeks. But never say never for a second! . She had a pretty much textbook pregnancy and natural delivery, BUT it did make her body feel sore even 2 months later (but now subsiding). Technically they are on the foster list but asked to be taken off (3 months before her due date, and 1 year after pregnancy (with only in dire emergency). She is breast feeding her kid (and yes she has expressed milk for herself and breasted Suzy one time!  The main difference in looking after AB/DLs vs their own is simple ; big babies never put themselves in danger!   She still has he job open and wants to go back  in around a month or two.  3 days in a week remaining – BUT has not ruled out being permanent Mother after trying returning to work 3 for  months later, but her own mother helping too when she is  at work as well as potentially allowing her little space time 2 days!  Despite being a baby boy, he looks more like Lisa! Jayden was Lisas mother/father  seventh grandkid of their own, plus a 2 siblings adopted by her eldest, Lucy (just turned 50)  makes nine!  Lisa and Suzy  had decided early on they be each other’s kids godparents  with their hubbies too..

As Lisa and started their foster training, , Suzy and Jeff had very similar discussions . They had a couple of foster placements, and 18 months ago,  Suzy stopped her (contraceptive) Pills 18 month ago. During this time (like Lisa) she started making plans for what she  and her hubby Jeff,  when the time came.  Despite a few false alarms, 6 weeks ago Suzy finally had a positive pregnancy test. She did a second test the same day (different brand) also positive. A initial scan also showed Suzy was indeed pregnant, and the pregnancy was true and visible. We are at 6 weeks pregnant; her inner Circle (her side and Lisa’s family) all know, as well as her friend Almas side down south (who now has 3 kids) . Her big boss, the doctor she is PA for (Dr Reynolds ) and a couple  of colleagues knew she was tying and big boss also knows BUT planning to tell her colleagues following  week (NOT denying it if someone  asks/detects something). It is, of course very early days!  Her own mother and father wanted more kids were over the moon too find they would finally become grandparents!  Assuming she goes full term, both her Mother/Father  and AB/DL Daddy offering to pay for some childcare costs from first day  so no worries for going out, working or littlespace time. While Suzy sitter of 17 years ago (Covering for her mother’s  PCOS) has now has left the City, a cousin of Suzy’s father is a babysitter.  Suzy feels something different, and morning sickness starting to take effect. Given her mothers infertility issues through  (she was very  lucky to have Suzy) she is not bothered if it’s a boy, girl, or anything like that, as long as  its healthy and she carries the baby to full term (or at least long enough to survive).  She intends to tell the child  when old enough about her little side and their Daddies naughty  – as does Lisa! Given she still is both bladder and bowel incontinent she does not expect any issues through pregnancy re control!  Yes, she is looking forward to all the side effects too, as well as the baby when its born! (Working in doctors surgery since she was 23, she’s used to  pregnancies with patients and her mostly female colleagues 60/40pc !)  The weekend just gone Suzy and Jeff were at Lisas, having a relaxing weekend after a busy week,  and also spending time with  Lisa and Steves  baby Jayden!! ! Sunday night they returned to Suzy’s home .

Entering  Monday, (start of Suzy’s 7^th week of her pregnancy) , she was  woken up by her (AB/DL) Daddy /Hubby / Dom/ and now her babies father too “Morning baby Daddy! “Morning baby mummy” he said back, before a passionate kiss!  She was helped downstairs, taking a plastic travel bidet fin case sick in car or at work. “ Morning mum,  and Dad!” she said as she sat down at breakfast. “How are you feeling -this morning, Suzy?” “Not too bad, slept  well and not too sick. Looking forward to working today!” They proceeded to the car – today a little earlier at 07.45 not 08.30 as her mother is training a couple of newbies a presentation and training from 09.00!  Being a senior nurse she’s now also training too!

Driving to work with her mother ,Suzy used this time often to discuss  things “You remember yesterday  I was at Lisa, seeing her and her lovely baby Jayden. Her and Steve seem to be such good parents already. Do you think I can be a good mother as her?” “first of all, you always put other people first. Secondly, do you remember that 18 month old temp foster kid you had? Your own nappy was visibly overflowing and leaking! One hour it took you close to an hour to stop him kicking around  and finally put a new nappy on him. Thankfully our floor is washable! Thirdly; you always end up fine. You remember similar conversations re relationships and previous friends issues”   “Thanks Mum… on the way home I will be discussing your side effects when you had me  on the way home”

After arrival, with it being early  , Suzy had some time in the Break Room with coffee until 08.55 before walking to Dr Reynolds , with  a cup of tea for her boss and her own coffee cup. She checked in on her weekend. Suzy’s said it went very well . “Good to hear… how’s your side effects  (from her pregnancy) ?” Not too bad although starting to have more and more”  “Well that’s good; keep me updated – as friends as well as boss!” “Will do! You’re first patient is here, shall I show them  in?” “Yes that’s fine . After doing so she went though internal mail, emails and other stuff to do and later, the snail mail. Showing many people through, she later was a bit queasy again. She wasn’t sure if standing up (now even taller 6 foot 2 ) or morning sickness; probably a combination of both – but she did make it to a bowl before a bit  came out. Taking it through the toilet, she rinsed it out in bathroom, before  ten minutes later (while changing her nappy , she vomited a bit more into the bowl! ) With her not having anything unusual that morning she put it down to the pregnancy;  at least she was prepared! When she returned “despite my baby being the size of a pea, it is certainly doing a number on me!”  She then sat down with a short time to catch her breath -between tasks. Lisa suggested ginger Supplement and sucking on Peppermints, which she was doing so. Suzy and her Mum / hubby were helping her wit mall And frequent meals  tool, and plain foods too (like rice cakes and sweet snacks around her part of the office, to make up when she’s been sick)  largely up to around 1pm but afternoons 3 or 4 times in the  last week. Her lunch (prepacked from  home) was in three portions, After the first one her tummies settled down.

The second half of the shift was  more straightforward, with only one queasiness and sickness episode! After work on the ride home, she was able to return home with her mum explaining all the side effects she had during her pregnancy, in time for a home cooked dinner by her ABDL daddy Jeff (Who to start working from home a little earlier so having time to do it  to do it), saving Suzy’s mum making dinner (Which he did 2-3 dinners a week) and an enjoyable Pasta Bake and ice cream, for the four  people . Suzy had not yet had to starting to eat for two!

After dinner Suzy and Jeff returned to going through baby catalogues for things for their forthcoming arrival ( Cribs etc). an setting up a registry gift list like Lisa did for her pregnancy. (She’s keeping her newborn stuff incise of another child of her own, or a Foster placement).  However Jeff wanted to buy most of the big  and important stuff thins, before other more minor things / extra supplies later. (probably starting Gift List week 12, 4 weeks after telling those who don’t yet know!) In addition decorating things upfront and then after decorating the place with a contractor who has helped Suzy’s family over the years. The final decision on baby’s furniture etc would be with Suzy and Jeff by Friday after dinner (he’s paying)

 

 

 

 

Chapter 2 – 16 Week Scan… (might say if) you’re having a …  

We have jumped  now forward to 16 weeks.  Suzy is visibly pregnant, but has only one baby in side her !   She is happy and happier every day. However while maternity onesie’s are not  a thing, she is sizing up! The side effects from Suzy’s pregnancy  were similar to Lisa, but  a bit more severe. With thongs checked (blood tests) and no obvious reason. Suzy’s height vs Lisa and her heavy set (not fat body before the  pregnancy though) was the due cause. Only 1 day (a Wednesday she was working) she was unbale to keep any food down for the entire day, As this is a  possible indicator of hyperemesis gravidarum  (similar to Kate Middleton’s  pregnancies), Suzy’s mum told her to stay home , and she  was to let her know at 3pm  However with the thing sill happening at 3m, Suzy tested her mother as agreed to bring her a test from home. Bizarrely it was  already in her Mums car from her arrival at work at 08.35.l! Her Mother brought her an anti-viral test with the idea being if negative, further help would be needed, but If not, she would go and get some pregnancy safe medication! When her Mum returned and Suzy had  a sickness bug! As it was an hour and a half after closing (18.30) Mum liaised with out of hours doctors, getting medication and ensuring they knew her daughter was pregnant, and she had already brought a test from her work  home at Eastgate, when she they both worked, and was prescribed and dispensed (from Out of Hour s at Kings Cross Hospital). So they didn’t need to go to a A&E – where Lisas middle sister was working that evening! However, in passing while dispensing the medication, making conversation ,the Dr said “so its this her first” Yes and No… her first  pregnancy yes, but loves being a 2 year in her mind! See she’s doubly incontinent life long, and ]that makes her happy instead of depressed about those issues?” “Oh wow! Well glad she is used to making the best of it I guess…”  The issue was gone by bedtime the following night. 

Her  scans (including Downs Syndrome test) were all fine. Her Mother had arranged additional scans though one of the Doctors at 4 weekly intervals. In the run up to having kids (and when the second pregnancy test came back positive), Suzy’s mother had reminded her she had 3 miscarriages and to check each nappy for blood (and other signs like lack of symptoms for things like severe pain.  Her daughter was told to let her know immediately – at work or not, even when asleep – to let her know more than an hour of groin pain or severe cramps , but this was generally limited to less than one  hour (10 to 20 minutes generally) – but was on alert to be aware for  all  those symptoms.

The 16 Week test (Scan) can generally be used for gender confirmation of  the baby  inside Suzy’s tummies gender, but on   occasions they might  have to wait till the next one (20 weeks  scan) sometimes. They were looking forward to that news BUT they could wait if needed. A Thursday morning booked 16 week scan – Suzy’s off work - so Jeff (Her AB/DL daddy and baby’s father too! ) had attended every appointment, bar one where Lisa (with son too). The scans and the like were a further bonding experience, not a chore. This time, like every other time, the sonographer welcomed and introduced herself to the two parents. “All is well again. Good news is I can see your babies gender, clear as day! (Suzy smiled ecstatically) . Do you want me to tell you Mummy-to-be” “Yes please and thanks” “You’re having a Baby Girl!” “Awwh thanks very much”” (Stands up) “Hey my Daddy and Babies Daddy ,  what do your think? “ “Oh great another  Suzy….(Suzy’s mouth wide open) Nah just kidding. Nice to have another baby girl to  look after! “ Aww thankies very much Daddy!”

 

 

 

In Other News

Lisa returned to work as planned and really loved coming home 3 day a week with her son being looked after by her mother/babies granny. However in the run up to IUD appointment, Lisa wants options of probably pregnancy (or adopting) a second little one, wanting to make a decision in a year for her own pregnancy or not ,if a foster/ to-adopt opportunity was not there… or maybe even both (I.E. 3 babies to care for! As  well as a foster-to-adopt groups, she was also told of a group (The Wil of God BUT not connected to a religion) that discourages abortion , encouraging Babies being kept to term, and then the birth mother hands over to new parents at birth (similar to adoption). These are more common in America ,and here or not as common. The adoptive people make a big contribution towards her maternity, pregnancy and similar  costs. They said they had a short waiting list (7) getting over 200 interested mothers a year, so probably not long to wait. The mothers then meet up with prospective parents. They did stress,  . Some may chicken out but they said Lisa and Steve would hear again nearer the time!    Their Home Visit went very well and no issues at all. They had already babyproofed their home (i.e. locks on the rooms) in run up to the fostering, so no issues there. At the same time bank statements were checked; they had 10 times the minimum they needed in the bank!  Having looked up her options online and decided they wanted a Contraceptive Implant (lasts up to 3 years) with the plan of removing it after 1 year if they wanted to have  another pregnancy of her own.
 

She was enjoying coming home to her son after work , so no plans to be full time Mum (like her own mother) to her son 10 month old Jayden, her mum looking after during the day. However a plan was in place was that if Lisa had twins or more babies, the babies father would an extra sitter too. So if she has another kid, the money would not be a problem, to allow her own Mum to look after one at a time.

 

 

 

 

Chapter 3 – Suzy at 20 weeks, and Lisa’s surprise phone call

Thursday and both Lisa were ready for the regular Mummy Session, late afternoon. However while waiting for Suzy (who’s now eating for 2 ) and the Mummy she played with Jayden – now  11 months. she took a call from mobile / cell phone not on their list. This might in be surprise delivery (like surprise from her daddy).  so she always answers – a few times bill overdue ,but you take the rough with the smooth!

“Hello ,Lisa McKenzie speaking?” “Hello Lisa, its Stephanie from The Will’… can  you speak now?” “oh yeah; day off so not working?” “that’s good” Now you were second to be offered, but the first lot said no. “Oh really, something wrong with the kid or something?” “No, nothing of the sort. All scan went fine, no abnormalities or anything .Then they had 10week scan reviewing it was twins?” “So she’s expecting twins?” “Yes indeed. They are strict Catholics, no abortions, ? “. Now they are at 17 weeks,  simply cant at afford two kids – is the sad reason! . Apparently they got money from your Fathers benevolent  fund?  “”Oh yes, , I sit on that. What’s their names!” “ “Mathieson.,..   Caroline and Byron ?” “I remember… we had a very quiet month so we topped it tup the full award by 10pc , to a grand total of  55k. Not for IVF just being so short of money `  Her mother pestering her for a grandkid – only one kid in her family so no one else?  Of course we never meet the people but we always think of them .  Those two didn’t expect anything BUT you should see the  Hand Made card we got from them! . So appreciate, you know… but I digress.”  

“So with this , you have first refusal?”  I would -  in theory – have no issues with twins, yes we have a large room free.  Let  I will check with my  babies father and hubby and , Mother who helped me looking after Jayden.

After ringing hubby/ Jayden’s father  Steve first (as her mother was downstairs),  Lis a took time as it was complicated. After Steve about the for more babies – without  Lisa getting pregnant or  anything  he had no objection. After walking downstairs (with her kid) for another complicated chat with her own mother (who looks after Jayden when she is at work) she gave the same adding the couple had been in receipt of some  money for the Fathers Benovolent Money, and she was planning on ringing Dad later. She rung back Stephanie to confirm 2pm, tomorrow was at her home, she would meet them at 2pm tomorrow (texting her partner the time as discussed) Stephanie and the 2 parents would come separately.

A little while later Lisa got hold of her father… She examined the situation  adding “only reason I am ringing you third she was one of our Charity Cases Father! . She was so broke, mother pressuring  a grandkid, on  not even IVF this time… It was a quiet month for submissions so we gave her 55k instead of 50k and she sent the most appreciative hand made card? I don’t think she knew it is us, as now I am Mr & Mrs McKenzie. We did discuss lately If I had another kid, it would be paid half by my hubby half by you.   To the couple who asked for our help before , is there any money or other help you might be give them for  other things and her second pregnancy too OR can we use a bit of my money  to help, Father ?

“Aah Lisa… that’s so kind of to think of others; first possibly taking on twins and seeing for my help. Leave that with me . I am sure we can stretch out again hand of kindness, to them too. Did you say tomorrow 2pm at our home?  “Yes  it is!”  “Well yes I have  few ideas to help them… And I just hope everything tomorrow goes well and you  all get on well, you know? I means I know I’ve got a lot in the bank but… twins.. wow! No wonder she’s considering adoption , despite everything like having it go through US to get the ONE child you know. I am sure we can something to help all four involved?”

 

 

JUMPING FORWARD to Friday 2pm., early afternoon , and both parties of visitors were explained.  Lisa said to them (pointing to her father) “The reason we an extra gentleman here is that…..  Well we know you  know asked for money from the Smith Benevolent Fund?” “yes we did – how did you know that Mrs McKenzie?”

“Well … the truth is, my  maiden name is  Smith, and I’m on  the board that approved your help.  Rather than my mother being here with parenting – she’s upstairs right now with my 10 month old son – this is actually my father .. yes, Brian Smith, CBE  (twins parents somewhat in shock) Don’t worry, we don’t want it back.  . After we discuss your twins issue, he  wants to offer a couple of extra things he can help with. And its Lisa please”

“And  I thought  we had fallen on our feet with you and Steve adopting our twins Lisa!”  “Yes ,my  sister Anna as the one who spoke to you on the phone…… she’s an A&E Nurse in Ninewells working night -  and we really love the card you sent us you sent the Trust Offices

Lisa and Steve showed them around before showing the spare bedroom and introducing  them to her Mother and  Lisa and Steves son Jayden “He is a wee cutie” ”Awwh thanks Caroline!” After that was said, they said formally they be happy on your twins with Steve  and Byron then discussing paying a weekly allowance for now (120 per cent of The Will of God project minimum times 2 for twins) and also were given Caroline’s forthcoming appointment times. Lisa and Steve would join them too at the 20 week scan in a- fortnight.

Then , Lisas father Brian took the Floor “Lisa highlighted your issue and your previous application to my fund. She wanted to send you some of her own money, but I have a few other ideas to help you both!

You were only the fourth claim – in five years  for baby costs NOT specialist like IVF, Artificial Insemination and  the Like. Sadly , this is the world we live in. My Lisa made an assumption that you still want another baby after the twins are born, is that right. “ “Yes Brian!”

“Well I am here to help! This lot is over and above everything you agreed for the twins by the way”

Thirdly, I sometimes get asked where he money comes from,? Its part personals savings interest and my earnings  as a taxi man of more than 5 decades  - and my drivers too. So basically ,this is another way I can help you , and my drivers too. From one office up to 6 now (started with my own office 696969 Taxis, took over Tele, then City Cabs, then Ferry Cabs, before expanding to Monifieth Taxis and Tayport Cabs. Now the sixth one is Perth’s ABC, So I give you this Taxi Account Card. I am paying 100 per cent of any taxis for 18 months. Our drivers are self employed and like credit cards and other account work (NHS etc) they are squared up in 2 weeks. Tips are optional and your driver keeps 100 per cent of that too” “So you want to pay our taxis, and the rest? ” Yes Caroline; I have done the same with office staff who don’t have their own reliable transport!”

And finally – on a personal note – for once in my life at least, I am sure I speak for my wife  - Lisa’s mum Polly - that we cant wait Grandkid number 10 and 11  (7 from my 3 daughters, my oldest adopted 2 down south, and your two)  , when the time comes!

Both of twins parents gave Brian a massive hug!

Byron then stood up and said “First of all Brian; when we got money from your fund, we felt it was definitely an answer to prayer. Secondly, adopting our twins (when one other couple  said no) was definitely an answer to prayer. Thirdly; we had no idea of your connection to Lisa and  the like fund. For the third time in a year,  your benevolent help is… more than a genuine call  to prayer; you are a diamond geezer. How can we ever thank you, let alone repay you?”

“It’s a gift, not a loan!  Just keep ging to your appointments up to and including twins birth. When your money is all settled, just pay it forward a couple of times? And finally, don’t be a stranger after they are born!  I would like to keep in touch with you in the future as well as allowing you to visit your kids too.. right Lisa and Steve?” “Anytime Bryam and Caroline and we can discuss how we later tell the twins etc another  day.  But we will see you both again at the scan in a fortnight?” “Yes we will do!”

This evening too was Suzy’s turn to host to Monday morning, so Lisas mother looking after Jayden for the weekend. Lisa had discussed with Suzy earlier on Thursday  during her Pro Mum afternoon after the phone call, and a text was sent to Suzy explained the successful meeting . Lisa had already agreed to be Suzy’s birth partner, partially as her BFF and her partially with her doing this before, with her own Mum planning on  coming after the birth , with 2 hourly  messages from Lisa or Steve AND if something was wrong, a video WhatsApp with Mum.. If During a working day, she was  allowed to get a sub from a junior nurse, as long as the patients were looked after although her mum had fingers crossed for being evening or weekend. When her own mother was pregnant with Suzy, her labour her lasted around 22 hour, Lisas Bown birth with Jayden being 19 hours.  During her Thursday evening phone call wit Lisa, Suzy said “So you know those twins   scheduled birth date is two weeks two eek apart, although twins average around 37 weeks accordingly to my boss with single births 38-42 weeks. You may well be very busy hunney! “Yes! I cant wait to help you Complete your motherhood journey and the twins, I look forward to finding out what they are having in a fortnight” “I know so far you’ve had it  fairly  easy with Jayden , who’s an absolute angel; although he might change that later, or even like we did as teenagers  well I hope you are lucky with angels “Yes I don’t care if they are the life and soul of the party, even  screaming the house down , I am looking forward to mothering some more and I have not ruled out baby number for  4  either adopted or my own body, ,BUT time will tell!  “Lisa can I say something? “I am loosely considering a second ; partially for my Mum (although she treats you and Alma  and your own  kids like family)  Lisa replied “Well, you might fell differently after giving birth, but I think you would be a perfect mother to 2 kids as well as 1? But discuss with your daddy Jeff, and then you’re mum” “I will do thanks Lisa!”” No objection from Jeff to a second kid or more 9he added the last two words before winking at Suzy  to which she replied “OK we could start now BUT am already pregnant!”. She then went through to her Mum, explaining the situation, ad then she said “I think that would be an excellent idea!” “Even if we get something like an adoption like Lisa did” “Yes, cause I think I am happy just to have one kid of my own, let alone a grandkid! But now you’ve made that happen!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chapter 4 – Suzy at 23 weeks, Pregnancy Plans in detail and Lisa  and Steve are adopting 2 girls

 

 

Most of Suzy’s Pregnancy plans were pretty much ready to roll!  The half way mark  has passed!  Their  name was to be Rose (from Suzy’s mums middle name) with middle name being Audrey (Steves mother) SO Rose Audrey Clark! It was decided to go for a traditional vaginal birth, in hospital (Dundee’s Ninewells Hospital) with all the pain relief allowed by law, and all extra help if it came to it. Three people would be there (Suzy who was giving birth, Jeff and Lisa, with Lisa/Steve giving her Mum 2 hourly updates (plus a live WhatsApp If she was in trouble)  Some extra stuff (Like different chairs and beanbags to assist if required),  not a water birth , and no issues with students etc. Any problems  would be dealt with as required and Suzy also acknowledges plans will more than likely change with problems sometimes unable to predict! Her AB/DL daddy/ babies father offered (When the baby is born) to do every other nappy change when together, and  all when Suzy is recovering / ill /  or unwell.  A mock baby (like a reborn newborn doll but plainer from hospital or midwife)  was borrowed to allow Jeff and Suzy experience with smaller nappy changes., as well as all the other baby tasks! Was a very enjoyable bonding moment too! The plan was to breastfeed her (and any future ones too) with her sometimes pumping into bottle to allow  the sitter or others when Suzy is out needing working (pumping supplies and bottles all ready!!

Like Lisa she would leave work with 3 Months to go (28^th week) , with at everyone at her work aware. Her boss was asking the Thursday/Friday person to cover most of Suzy’s work, which was fine bar a couple of weeks, where a temp. The plan  was returning to work 3-4 months after the birth, with the date fluid because in case of any issues  with labour and complications requiring the child or Suzy a ongoing hospitalisation. The plan was that she would be going back to work BUT (similar to Lisa) she would be able to pause things if they needed up to a year.  

The baby was now making Suzy’s breasts tender and a little bigger (not quite a full cup size) . Her morning sickness was away but lower backache and  her baby was moving so very often so issue knocking off to sleep, and responds to talking and touching on the side, which both Suzy and Jeff to yet another bonding moment during their pregnancy. They were getting so close to the baby; despite the fact its around four months to go before she was born!  Plenty supplies were in for after birth (baby nappies, long life food etc). with deliveries meant (fresh and extra  frozen) coming closer to the birth.

 

 

Lisa and Steve found their twins would be both Baby Girls! With Caroline’s pregnancy now happening, more and more stuff  now being settled; Despite being short she was planning for a regular (vaginal) birth , with C-section only in an emergency

 

 

 

 

Chapter 5 – Suzy at 28 weeks, Suzy goes on Maternity Leave and Baby Shower evening  

Suzy has some unusual  cravings (curry sauce, pickles and apple) With her Wednesday her last day, some money was raised in the office. On the Friday a baby shower (at the doctors surgery in evening not just work) gave her almost everything she needed. 45 people were at the Baby Shower, men and women! Very well occupied and enjoyable go for both sides of the Happy Couple! After an amazing week, back home. Suzy particularly enjoyed daddy /  baby’s father Jeff rubbing her tummy up and down REALLY Enjoyed well! So when they got home and all day Saturday, she LOVED it!

 

 

Lisa/Steve were in 2 times a week  with Caroline/Byron in relation to the twins progress, with some stuff being delivered or dropped off for the mother and the like.

 

 

 

 

Chapter 6 – Suzy at 32 weeks, Jeff starts his Paternity Leave

With six weeks till Suzy’s due date (now bigger than ever) her Daddy was able to have a little bit sex stuff catchup. While some were difficulty, she was able to have a few climaxes. Suzy’s libido SKYROCKETED up during her pregnancy, but not always to screw as often. However, Suzy did have her favourite vibrator and a wand outside of her nappy!

 

 

 

 

Chapter 7 – Suzy at 38 weeks, Suzy goes into labour, and welcome to the world Baby Rose!

Wednesday into Thursday overnight started contractions around 01.00! Daddy/babies father Jeff said to get the rest as you will news to later ,  but wake him at every time was changing, and the plan was obviously going to go to hospital when waters break . Suzy  had little chance to relax as  The contractions  got worse around 01.30, lost her mucus plugs 03.00, and in an hour later 04.00, Suzy’s water broke! Lucky Lisa was starting over that weekend , so basically, three people (and all the bags and supplies) were ready to go to hospital by car 04.35. After arriving 04.50, Jeff went to check in them in while Suzy and Lisa were shown into a room. The established rule is for what they called Established Labour at 4cm , and Suzy was at 4.5cm.  

The first stage of labour (Dilation) lasted 6 and half hours, with Suzy’s delivery close to 7.5 hours. No problems were encountered  and apart from a lot of pain towards the last 2 hours of delivery of labour (and Lisa s right hand being squeezed  very much!)  ,

Her Mother had came into the hospital after her work around 5.20pm as she knew she was getting close, but staying on the in the Restaurant/Café.

Then at 18.47 and with massive final push, her and Jeffs baby, Rose Audrey Clark, was born to the world! Lisa said “Oh Suzy’s she’s absolutely gorgeous ; looks just like her mum” “Yes she is Suzy”” Steve handing Suzy’s her new baby. “Thanks Daddy”  final stage Placenta was out in just over five minutes.

Despite Suzy’s massive bump,. Rose was only a little more. Heavier (9lb 3oz) vs Lisas Jayden being 8lb.

The post birth checks were all fine before she latched on for feed, and Suzy’s changed and refreshed into   a new nappy and the baby was prepared for visitors.  19.10 Lisa, Steve and Suzy’s mum Orla were welcomed (in Mums case) / back (Lisa and Steve), to meet/remote Suzy’s news baby Rose!

Lisa said “she is so cute and gorgeous.. even more with her sucking /feeding on your chest?” “Aah thanks Lisa. And yes, now both Big Babies have their own baby” Next was Suzy’s mum Orla “Mum, what do you think???” she’s Amazing. Your Father is coming tomorrow early evening to see you both. But how’s the Mum?” “ “I’m  good. Sore , especially down there you know. But no regrets – especially looking to starting our new life; Suzy, Jeff and Rose – named obviously after my Amazing, long Suffering Mother middle name! She’s just finished feeding, Mum I will give you a cuddle for 5 or  minutes each, pass to  Jeff, Lisa  , then back to me… Could we call it a day 20.00 I got very little sleep tied/ sore you know! However, happy to see you throw after breakfast Steve and Lisa?” ” “Okay Suzy and we understand. She looks even cuter close up!”

Steve stood up walked over to Suzy, hugging  her! “What was that for baby Daddy” I am very proud of you my Baby Girl, now a Baby Mummy too!. You stick to the rules for pregnancy, and we made an amazing Daughter for me! Also I am very, very glad we made the decision to start a family...  You have given me a beautiful daughter, who looks almost as great as you!”

 “Your Mother is proud too!” said Suzy’s mum, before giving her to Steve.

“Oh Lisa, can I also thank you for all your help? You helped me in my pregnancy?” “Oh yes I’d forgotten about that. And you are doing this soon with the twins coming too soon Lisa, I would like to thank you for trying this myself.” “once again, you got me to try being a big baby at 19 and I’ve never looked back! My Steve is looking forward to another kid – well 2 – joining our home too!”

After a brief chat, Suzy’s asking Steve/Mum to get 2-3 things for tomorrow visit (2       Top up stuff from  house Steve and her Mum to let her boss (Dr Reynolds) know in case she wants to visit after work  … Look forward to seeing you all, and dad  tomorrow ? Now give Daddy and everyone else my love”!”  The plan was that, if no further complications to mother or baby, the birth went well so Saturday teatime home.

After checking and changing her Daughter (and her own nappy) she dozed off, woken  a couple of times by doc or nurse doing overnight observation for both Mother (and baby Rose in the cot). Both slept fairly well with Baby Rose only crying one around 4am (gave feed and changed)

 

 

Wednesday daytime meant Lisa going back on leave 6 weeks Adoption Leave with option of making it 8; with her Daddy on  Friday) before twins coming soon!  Anther collection was had, but no baby shower this time (Caroline had one on Friday to celebre maternity leave starting) ! However the birth Mother sent  a email to her mother,  explaining everything – money too - and she was intending in a second pregnancy too , with money for a second pregnancy enough! 3 hours her Mother sent a very apologetic one “Profuse apologies my Darling!  I am sorry if I put you under pressure my darling.. You have my support in everything and I look forward to my grand kids when the second pregnancy. Yes three times over it was call to prayer – bizarre the same family helped you all three times, of sorts?” “Mum , you have no idea how relived  I am!”

The idea was Lisas hubby/Daddy Steve, and the day about Lisa would be looking after Suzy en route to her own pregnancy. However with that now successfully had her Daughter, Lisa would spend Mon to Wed this week with Suzy, then  M/W/F Suzy and Tu/Th/Sa/Su Caroline!

 

 

Chapter 8 – Suzy in hospital post birth Friday – 2^nd day of Baby Rose

Friday morning and her Baby (Rose) woke her up around 07.45, but she had a phone alarm set for 08.00. Lisa and Jeff are coming around 09.30-10.00.  After a gruelling birth and long sleep, she was looking forward to breakfast! She got up to feed her Daughter ,bringing her over to her bed and place her close by.

“Hey my little princess . You are the littlest littlest little of them all – and the cutest… yes you are …  (latches her on) there you are baby” Now, you remember Lisa yesterday ? Well her and Daddy visiting after we both have breakfast (Although she had already packed up a lot of food free for any time but none yet)  You look like you ned a change to now, and then mine too! Hopefully we have zero potty training issues with you like with me, my gorgeous  little baby LOL . While I know you might not understand what I am saying  to you – but I will do anyway”” 

Ladies walk in soon after both changes. “Good morning Susanna. How was your night? “ Not too bad, I got a decent sleep and only woken by my kid around 04.00 , then just now  .My own pads/nappies  not long changed too! “Today my dad and a few others who didn’t meet her last night are coming , My birth partner Lisa and hubby Steve coming after breakfast! “  Lisa will bring her Mother hopefully too!  She’s Is not  bringing her 11 month old BUT once her hubby done with work he will bring it later!  This morning she’s being babysat by the person who we hired to babysit my Rose when I return to work ( Jenny a family friend my side ?) All bar Lisas mum work you see ! Lisa’s Mum did work until she had her 3^rd (Lisa )When they had enough money!” Lisa works 3 days a week and my hubby is on paternity leave!

“Well hopefully all goes smooth…. If you need anything or your kid changes or if you need a break or a hand looking after Rose, just push the bell! “Yes I can definitely do that… in the meantime I will lie back and relax enjoying the breakfast” (which tray was dropped off during the chat) She devoured virtually everything , and asked  for another coffee! Lisa said all 3 were parking up outside, so would be 10-15  minutes away. She decided to go to the crib, and checking (she needed changing) before  , bringing her over to her  so lying down in bed cuddling her, with her daughter being very giggly and happy! Just a few minutes later “Hello Jeff, Lisa and Polly!”

Polly said first of all  “And this must be Rose… oh you look even better in person…Suzy said “this is your Godmummy’s  mummy Polly” Do you want to hold her” “Oh yes please… “ Lisa and Jeff then checked in with Suzy , explaining that   she slept very well only - 2 wake ups/crying/need changed my baby! “ “now that’s great news!”  We all hope it continues, especially when she returns home” Suzy’s mother texted her from her work; everyone congratulations and Dr Reynolds will come at her lunch , if not little late than we do tonight, she will be around 19.30” She explained the others there; here baby was wet she asked If her Daddy would like to change her nappy, for the first time… you know we practiced ? “ Surprisingly  well for the time round, before continuing to change his  wife’s nappy” “awwwhhh thanks Daddy! I was telling my new baby earlier after she woke me this morning 07.45, hopefully we have zero potty training issues with you like my little baby like with me lifelong1 OL”  “Very true hunney…” “But even if she never potty trains like you (looking at Rose) we will still love her, no matter what” “Yeah  that’s right!

After another round of Doctors (Lisa and Jeff went to have lunch) . After they left they returned  to Suzy, even more conversations. Suzy’s lunch came so she asked Daddy toc change her baby Rose. After devouring her lunch (like breakfast) ,she fed Rose too ,just as Dr Reynolds (her work boss with a specialist, and personal , interest in pregnancies , and gynaecology etc). “Hello boss!” “After reminding all four to each other,  Dr said “Sorry as I only have around 30 Minutes. How’s baby and Mother… “Mums fine. While I started contractions around 1am, plan was water breaking then  at 04.00 we would be then we came I was 4.5cm dilated. I will give you much  of the technical  birth when you have more time, but then at 18.47, baby Rose was born!”  “Yes your mum told me started early” “Last night a massive sleep; Rose  only woke me up last night twice. Do you want to have a cuddle” “ohh Suzy she’s  just like you, and she’s also absolutely bloody gorgeous!”

The afternoon came and went with Suzy rung her former BFF down south Alma (now a mother of 3) to fill her in on what happened (she had been texted by Lisa at Start and end)  and she was very happy Mummy and Daughter are doing very well!   She had planned and book to come up for a week around 2 weeks  after her due date – so 4 weekends away - and with all that in place – she looked forward to meeting Baby Rose for the first Suzy had done similar, within 1 month of her due date for  all 3 pregnancies - to her 9yo Polly, 7yo Steve – and 4yo Jayne) too, and she looked forward seeing her again. She was saying she is an Assistant Manager now , for last 3 months as well.-

In the evening Lisa’s hubby brought her Daughter too so see Suzy’s baby (and Suzy introduced her baby to Jayden) and saw Suzy’s new baby for the first time. Afterwards, Suzy’s mother returned to see her granddaughter  again, and also Suzy’s father / Grandad  saw her new baby, for the first time. Another amazing sleep followed that night !!! 

Chapter 9 – Suzy heads home Saturday with her Little One.

Suzy’s baby woke around 03.45 before 07.30 too for feeds and changed baby Rose ,  and 07.30 Mummies nappy too! “ Good Morning my Princess, Rose Audrey Clark! I am really enjoying mothering you  MUCH  MORE than I ever thought! You are  really, really special to me! Looking after you is a pleasure not a chore! We are going home to Mummy and Daddies house; I might have to fight  you off him and my Mum BUT any problems, you just screech out? Your mummy was very intelligent growing up, and while you might not be able to understand me just now, you never know! Plus it saves messaging all 12 people you’ve seen during the night! In any case, all going well, yes we’re going home today to me and Daddys home, with my Mum, my Daddy (your grandparents – one day your Daddys Mum your other Grand mum and you’ll see Lisa. As she’s adopting twins she might not be always around , when she works a3 days a week like me too, There is a room for you BUT your cot initially will be in Mummy & Daddies room! However the way I am feeling, I probably never want go back to work! A lot of  first time Mums like me get depressed BUT I don’t know why I love this so much ?  

Ladies walk in (Similar to yesterday! “I see you are having fun with Rose! “ “Oh yes!  Enjoying this much more than I ever expected. I know many first time Mums get depressed BUT I love having her around  MORE than I ever thought! I have warned  her Daddy might have to fight me off later and might not want to ever return  to work , if it continues like this! I know she probably can’t understand me, but she me remember bits as I remember some of my earliest memories!

“Its great that you are happy Susanna!  Did you sleep well? “Yes just like last night, woke once 03.45 before waking up around 07.30.” “That’s good. As no further issues with yourself of Rose, yes you are scheduled heading home this afternoon. Now, you’ve got someone picking you up?” “Yes; Lisa my birth partner also her Godmummy, Steve my hubby, and my own Mother!. Som other people like my father are at home, and others will come to meet  over coming days!  I have told those who are picking me up of my amazing feelings – and like all of my 35 years they are happy if I am happy!”

Once again; Suzy devours her breakfast, and has a second coffee too! Between then and lunch she catches up with phone calls, emails and the like for those people who didn’t yet know about her successful birth to Rose this Thursday evening with some .pictures – also saying heading home by teatime tonight. Mum +  baby doing well , including  her social media with no posts since Wednesday (#StillExpecting) to now #NowAMummy! Feedback from everyone was amazingly favourable, and everyone loved the pictures!  “She looks like just like you, and so very cute!” “Congratulations Suzy well done on having a kid of your own” “Glad mother and baby are doing well! “ were 3 comments from this morning Social Media posts.

During this time she was lying down similar to yesterday at one side, with her kid next to her, occasionally tickling her although her mum could see she was tired “’ill let you go back to sleep as you are yawning your little head off!” While Rose was dozing away, she was able to have a couple of the extra snacks packed, some fruit squash/ diluting juice and chocolate coated rice cakes – she was able to change her own nappy!  Lunch was in the soon after that, (this slightly woke Rose, but Rose was hungry too) – Suzy   devouring lunch too !

The plan is after lunch , the people collecting Suzy and Rose would be around 45mins away after lunch – catching up for an hour or so before packing away Suzy’s stuff and getting ready to take her home. As Suzy was a little sore down there, they would use  a wheelchair (one being brought when they arrived) and an ice pack in her nappy for down there for leaving her hospital bed ,and going upstairs for to her room floor. With it being a 5 seat car, first use of Rose’s car seat too! It was known before that Suzy wanted her & Jeffs room to have the cot for a short time before later moving to her own room, and  this was ready in place (with Mum/Suzy’s recovery in mind, and for simplicity every feed and change!).

“Hey Lisa, Hey Jeff, Hey Mum” “So we got your message ; good you are enjoying motherhood!” “Yes… maybe the feelings will fade but I had worried I would struggle  not picking it up like Lisa was!  Do you think it was being babied too , or previous practice? Probably both  but feeling now like I’m doing this easily, you know? However like many of the IVF and specialist Mummies I have seen at work (and elsewhere), the job that they never thought they would have gives them the most joy. I guess similar to hen Lisa started IN Little Space she was SO HAPPY?” “Indeed   I was” said Lisa”

Suzy said “I had so many doubts I would screw it up BUT mum, and my boss reminded me everyone had doubts when pregnant, you know? Going back Lisa, Rose is finished feeding… do you want to hold her again Lisa?” (gives  Rose to Lisa first) 5 minutes each then Mum then  Daddy Jeff.!”

After around an hour Mum and Lisa packed up Suzy and Roses clothes and babies things while Suzy fed Rose for the trips, while her Daddy/babies father changed Rose before putting his wife Suzy in a nappy BUT the ice pack was activated now .After being driven away and thanking all the staff who helped bringing her Baby Rose into the world   Her daddy / babies Daddy drove her wheelchair while holding her baby in her arms out to the car park. She was helped into her car asset , Suzy’s mum clipped Rose in her baby car seat, while Lisa  put the clothes etc in the back of the car.  She was driven slowly home (Trying to avoid pot holes – suggestion from Lisas heading home too! – and not too fast!) before reaching home in 25 minutes. Lisa brought clothes etc from the back and Suzy’s  mum brought her baby up to the room placing on her bed. She  was told to go slowly (no tired but sore) , 2 steps at a time, before Suzy made it to their room. Rose was a little fretting,  but Mummy Suzy said “Welcome home, my princess Rose!” (cheering and applause from the other 3) . She tickled her tummy a few times, making Rose stop fretting! At that moment  Roses nappy was  fine. She offered her to be fed, but wasn’t hungry right then!

Suzy had a choice of all takeaways or any food she wanted, she chose Dominos (pizza) for Dinner.  For that night herself all the family (all five including Suzy’s father had brought several folding tables to have it all together as a family . For following days it was said Suzy’s Mum or her daddy/baby’s father Jeff would get things for her to avoid the stairs for a couple  of days. The bottles and pumping equipment was there, although that was a Medium term priority of course – for Sunday or Monday to allow her Daddy to try feeding too! Halfway through Suzy eating  Rose was crying … “You want some too Rose? (giggles) No I know what  you want! She was fed by Suzy before her Daddy Jeff changed Rose. At the end of the food, everyone went downstairs and Daddy jeff changed his wife’s Nappy (Suzy) too Mummy (Suzy), Daddy (Jeff) and their 3 day old baby Rose having a couple of hours quality time. “Well I said on our wedding/collaring day, we’ve only gone and bloody  well done it – AGAIN  - having a little one of our own! “ “Is she getting more and more gorgeous every day?” her Daddy/Jeff asked?  “Well I would say yes Daddy, but maybe a  bit biased since giving birth on Thursday” “And yes you did SO BLOOODY WELL and were TOTALLY BLOODY AMAZING!” “This is your daddy, would you like to tickle her and play with her?” “Would love to…’”  “blows on her belly before tickling her”. “I was worried I am struggling, but its almost like its going smooth! Word of warning ; she woke me twice last couple of Nights., however you will get to see tonight what I do.. feed her change -her and back to my bed“ “Well she’s clearly a good sleeper,, hopefully  twice a night continue  I thought  she would be up more often”  “Mind you Daddy,  no nurses or doctors checking in – just Mummy, Daddy and our 2 day old Baby Rose “ (they smooch for 5 minutes or so). By this point coming up for 21.00. Suzy breastfed and changed her Daughter Rose, putting her down for bed in the cot not far away! Her Daddy changed her wife’s nappy 21.35 before cuddling round her arms before saying “Its Great To Have You Home Suzy... “Thanks Daddy smooches briefly before both fall asleep!)

 

 

 

 

Chapter 10  – Sunday – a chill day for all 3

Rose woke her Mummy up at 04.00 , with her Mummy going over to her Crib… feeding and changing her again! It didn’t wake her Daddy then, but did at 08.00 (Suzy too! “Good Morning my Princess Rose, good morning Daddy ! “ “Hey Suzy”…so I know now that’s what you do with Rose! So I am going downstairs for breakfast for you, and I will have mine here  on a tray each! Your usual? “ “Yes but an extra coffee please Daddy!  When you are down doing that I will start pumping, to see if she takes Mummy’s Latte  from a bottle ! Aiming for  6 for now, as couple today and tomorrow- If keeping more than 24-36 hrs need to freeze -  although that takes time! Could you bring me a 2l jug of fruit squash (Diluting Juice in Scotland) so I have enough to drink myself??” “Anything for you, mother to  my child! But no feeding yourself” ”No that’s tomorrow – well me and Lisa you know!, and her granny tomorrow after work trying a bottle feed too!” “I’ll give her another feed now before starting pumping?”  “Yeah, good idea… see you soon hunneybunch” Lisa had her Daddy and her Baby Jayden there during the day as she was taking her home later that day, but returning to Suzy’s during the next 3 days, then day about with Caroline and Byron!

Jeff was back again in around 10 minutes, with the jug first, Suzy’s tray  and Daddy’s  trays 1 at a time. “Well Daddy pumped 3 babas for my Rose do far. So next time is  she is hungry, shall we try from the bottle, and if not in 2  mins will feed from my breast? “ “Yes we will do! A wee reminder my mother-  so Granny Clark -  is coming after lunch. She’s looking forward to seeing Rose in person. Of” course she shares the same middle name as her first one?” “Yes she does indeed Daddy!” Around 30 minutes her little one was crying, so Suzy passed a baba from the warmer” “Here you are Daddy, try now?” In around 15 seconds, she took the bottle nipple no issue . Suzy asked her to change her baby and then herself  too!

“So has it sunk in yet – were parents! “ “Yes it has.. . second best decision we ever made! You been a bit softer and more emotional over the last 12 months too” “Yes I have been haven’t I Mummy? Oh by the way, no Punishment Spankings while you are recovering    BUT never on real kids like Rose” “Thanks Daddy” I love you too…” (smooches!)  Suzy said “Actually I would now say equally happy as our decision to be collared and married… THAT DAY WAS AMAZING! Daddy replied  “No arguments there. Starting  a family AND you  successfully carrying her to term was a, once again and incredible feat. I know you are both happy and proud ,quite rightly so!” Indeed I agree Daddy . And she was named after two amazing Mothers who have always been kind and fair to us both?” “Again, true . Even when she’s unwell I know you will look after her well!” “Thanks Daddy”  “But playing things by ear; every day being a new experience and a new thing to learn, being first time parents, has worked so far so same approach when she’s ill?” 

Suzy’s mother came up at 11.30 (She was also on standby if Dady Steve or Mummy Suzy  need a break from things) saying “Lunch is on, will be around 12.30 – my Sunday Roast!! ? How is Rose doing ?:” “Very well and she was successfully bottle fed by her Daddy a little while ago!”?   “Great news my little one and son—in-law! Now remember, let me know if you need help, okay my daughter, son in law, and  granddaughter” “Yes thanks Mum!!”

Shortly after that Lisa came in and chatted with Suzy and Jeff. “Would you like to be another play with Lisa?” She’s your godmummy you know Rose” “he said to Rose. So Lisa did some things (like blowing on belly and tickling) that  made her own child giggle and laugh  as well  as a Peek-A-Boo game (- her one loved it BUT She’s close to 1 year old (newborns take 2-3 months to properly smile and a little longer to giggle of course) BUT It did make Rose happy not sad! So how’s Mummy doing today as a parent, and also down there?? “   Not too bad so far. Down there is still sore!” . “Well you did push a kid though it 4 days ago! And it will subside sooner or later -well it did for me BUT I was sore all over , so it will pass. How’s Daddy Jeff?”  “Yes Lisa, it is still sinking in BUT equal to our collaring/wedding  day was having this beautiful baby (Daddy blows on Roses tummy!)  You know?” “Indeed it is – I never regretted Jayden, no matter how many sleepless nights or anything?”   Daddy asked “Any word from the couple ?” “Nothing but we area in 4 hourly check-ins during the day! They know I am here BUT will  ring If anything happens. They just messaged me sending their Congratulations to Suzy and Rose for getting home yesterday!  They have some free time Monday so could they visit you as they’d love to meet Rose?” “I would have no problem Lisa, Daddy?  (he nods)  Feel free to set it up Lisa!” Will do! Anyway   Keep your fingers crossed Dady Jeff and   Mummy Suzy too! ? “Will do”.

Sadly it was lunchtimes so they all went down for lunch .Suzy’s Daddy Jeff brought her , and his own, lunch on trays up with his own mother expected an hour later. Changing his own daughter and wife one at a time,  and taking the trays down, everyone heard a door bell “I wonder who that is?” “Its – we hope - your Mummy, Daddy ?” Daddy walked down and opened the door” “It is… Mother” (hugs her   length!). ” “Well I’ll bring you up to Suzy and your gorgeous granddaughter. (Walking her up) Do you want some tea or anything “No I am good” “Hello Granny Clark said Suzy – this is Rose” “You know she looks even better  - the pictures don’t do her justice! “Yes she seems to be getting even more gorgeous!” And it looks like Steve in the blue eyes ? “And her mother is what most have said Mother. Now sit down” … He brings her a chair next to those two and the baby  with Baby on one pillow and Mummy and Daddy sitting facing  Grandma. 

“I cant  believe I am finally a grandmother” “Thanks Mummy Clark”  Suzy said “ Birth straightforward, she’s been an absolute angel , so happy and she’s been sleeping well (waking up twice a night. We  are both happy she’s home and healthy” said Suzy “Do you want to a cuddle Granny Clark? “Of course I do!”

“So how’s Mum feeling ?” “Very good emotionally – loving being a Mum more than I ever thought . Am sore down there but it will pass . Not as sore as my BFF Lisa – who is adopting twins due in a few weeks” “Lisa walked past with baby nappies for her little one (in storage with her own nappies at Suzy’s)  “Did I hear my name… hello Granny Smith!” “Yes I heard you are adopting twins?” “Yes indeed – due in 4 weeks – but Suzy’s boss said twins often come early -   well me and Hubby Steve. Jayden getting bigger and better every day – you can maybe see  him later on too before you go”  “Thanks Lisa, I would love that too!” (hears Jayden crying) Got to Go!”

“So Suzy and Jeff, are you still thinking of another  baby?” “Yes, more than ever . might try what Lisa  got through the ‘Will or our own, or maybe both? However that’s making a lot of assumptions! We are having  a meeting with the Project with the home  visiting in 6 to 8   weeks,  to give me time getting over the birth. A lot of the stuff we did before our Foster Assessment will help in our favour! However, irrespective of that, I love being a Mum so much might have an issue giving her to others LOL ! “Really Suzy ???” “Yes genuinely like more . I am PA For a lady Dr specialises in Gynaecology and Pregnancies. Like so many of the IVF and specialist Mummies I have seen at work (and elsewhere), the job that they never thought they would have, gives them the most joy” “Very profound Suzy…  Having seen the way you completed Steve was life for 11 years and the way you are looking after your body in the run up to having Rose, I am sure you will do another good job, you know?” Thanks Mummy Clark” She then walked over to the spare room for Lisa/Steve and Jayden for 10 minutes or so , before she came back through Suzy/Jeffs room “Let me give my granddaughter a last hug, and we hope to see you both again in a couple of weeks , okay darling “? “Yes Mum”  She kisses Suzy, Rose then her son Jeff, before walking her downstairs. After that, Jeff grabbed another drink and 2 ice cream pints for her and Suzy! “Thanks for thinking of me daddy… I’m feeding Rose too and could you change us both??? “Yes no problem” After this could we try for a nap! Please Daddy?” “Yes, that sounds great and we can see how long Rose naps for too” And they did indeed… 2 hours later        Rose wake them up but they had an alarm 2 and a half hours later for their Dinner.

Her Daddy went down for the dinner (battered sausages and Chips), bringing it upstairs like before. After that around 20.00, Lisa said goodbye, reminding her shed In the morning my Daddy Steve will be at their in the morning, before be there in the morning , and that 14.00 is when Caroline and Byron meeting your Ros, while my Dady gets some extra supplies! Around an hour and a half later, it was time for bedtime, similar to the night before.

 

 

 

 

Chapter 11  – Monday part 1 of 2 – partly back to work  AND partially trying new things

Monday saw Suzy’s Mother and Father and working again.  In Roses mummy Suzy,  and Daddy Jeff’s case, similar  to the previous day but little tries and experiments  etc. in Suzy leaving her bedroom, Suzy drinking a bottle of her own breast milk before breastfeeding  Lisa (on her own with Mother looking after Jayden,  similar to Midweek.). The afternoon of course would be Caroline and Bryan’s visiting Suzy, Jeff  and their baby Rose. During evening her boss (Dr Christina  Reynolds) after her work, as she only had limited time when visiting on Friday,

Well 03.45 baby Rose was up crying, so Mummy Suzy fed her, “Don’t worry, mummies  here Rose!” then changed her nappy, before back in her cot. 07.55 she woke then both up! “Morning baby daddy” she said to Jeff” “Morning baby Mummy” before smooching  briefly “Jeff said “You sleep well? ”like usual you know with Rose. However only one wake up per night is a bit better than Jayden, but he’s sleeping longer and longer Lisa said”. “Too true””  “Can you bring up some breakfast like yesterday , with an extra coffee”, after changing me just now?” “Yes… lie down my darling wife . I love you (kiss mummies tummy 3 times). You make me happy everyday and even more happy since you gave me a baby girl” “And I love now even more with you making me a Mummy” , my Daddy… see you soon.” After bringing breakfast one tray at a time – she sat down with her wife. “Daddy could you grab me a couple of yesterday’s babas for after my breakfast?” “There you go sweetie!

After finishing 2 coffees and breakfast, she went to drink her own pumped milk for “ don’t know if I say in front  of Rose, but I taste GREAT  - well my milk” “will I now what you meat! “ her daddy said. “See if she will take a bottle from Lisa or yourself, or  me next feed I will try the other one”? “Good idea… Her daughter was brought over to the bed, similar to yesterday. ““We can have the rest later if needed” Her Daughter was wet and a little fretty. “Mummy takes care of you… “ changes her nappy before trying her with the bottle, which she takes after  a few seconds. She drinks all bar a tiny gulp , which Suzy then finishes herself… before cuddling her baby girl into her body, tickling her making her smile again” “Good little Rose for drinking your Milk from a baba (blows raspberries on her tummy) , “yes you are (another raspberry), yes you are (one final raspberry) . Lisa came upstairs “Hello… how’s Rose? “ Great again. Put your bag own in the spare room , as I am about to breastfeed you from the source- and I think    I taste very Good” “Ok sure Mummy Suzy!  “winks twice at Suzy, before dropping her bag and back pack (minus her phone)  before coming into Suzy / Jeffs room.  “OK Mummy will come over to my big feeding Chair so I  can line you  up right, like my Mum still does sometimes with me” “OK, latch on, you know how?” “Mmmm one of the best milks I’ve ever had; Thanks  Mummy Suzy!” (they stand up and walk over to the bed, Suzy on one side if the bed and her Daddy Jeff moving over to a seat before asking “Lisa, come lie down and play with my baby Rose?” “Anytime” “Say hello to your godmummy Lisa!“ They played for around half an hour before Baby Rose  started to cry.” “Mummy grabbed her back before latching on  for another  feeding “ Can Daddy or Lisa  help both us change ?” Lisa did both!  “Mummy Suzy says thankies Mummy Lisa!  11.45 saw coming up to lunch (a micro lasagne for 4) and  Daddy and Lisa brought things up on trays and for Suzy, and their own two both, with a little extra between the three of them!” After eating them all, the trays were taken back down before they Daddy took over the space where Lisa was , and Lisa was on a side chair.

“That’s the door, I will go get it.  Probably Caroline and Bryan?”  “ Hey Byron, Hey Caroline …  (hugs both, one at a time) Come In both of you. I’’ll walk you upstairs”! “On the bed from left my BFF Suzy Clark,  on the right is her Husband and  baby father Steve Clark – and in the middle is their new Baby Rose! “Firstly these flowers are for Mum; congratulations Suzy. She looks absolutely gorgeous doesn’t she? “Awwh thanks very much for flowers - Lisa could you please put these in some water  - ands for the compliment on Rose  She has been so well behaved. Only wakes us twice a night, and she’s  been such an angel so far. We know that she can’t understand what we are saying to her , but we did talk to her in the womb with some response! For  some reason I have really enjoying mothering her,  more than I ever thought ! And at the same time, my daddy has been enjoying fatherhood too” “Very true” said Jeff. !I wonder why we waited so long to have kids  eh baby and Mummy Suzy? “( smooches,)

Suzy replies “Looking at your tummy it looks like you might be close to due day? I looked similar just last Wednesday (but with one baby?)“ ??? “yes we think it s going to be any day. Similar to Suzy and Lisa’s pregnancies we are happy. While we do know Lisa and Steve are adopting immediately after birth, we are looking forward to our next pregnancy too!” “well I please be careful with going to sleep – your contractions might start 1 hour after you finally able to sleep after Rose moving around a lot inside me! “Noted” giggles Caroline.

“Yes we did plan everything in or pregnancies but you’ve have no idea how its going to go until after the birth. We’ve been largely playing it by ear so far , which is the only thing any new parents can do, you learn every hour ,let alone every day! I am PA For a lady Dr specialises in Gynaecology and Pregnancies. He is unable to work and I  am on minimum wage plus pointing Neal's Yard Remedies as my second money.  (ED: London based retailer who does similar to Avon but remedies include things like Crystals and incense) who also sell through MLM like Avon)  but not everyone knows of  them” No, I’ve heard of NLR. My former BFF now lives  in north London first got me into them, when I went down for her wedding 12- 13 years ago. I really love that stuff!” “Well I will leave you a catalogue (rumbles though her bag placing on the bed)  - Lisas got my  mobile number so next time you need it, let me know ?” “Will do…” “However, going   ack to our story, Byron wanted kids always and I was unsure, but my mum wanted grandkids. I was her only Child . We didn’t think we could afford to BUT with some fund for Lisa’s fathers fund – who we have NO IDEA If was you – then, we find out its twins! Our Priest put us onto the The Will Of God! After telling my mother everything that happened by email last Friday,  she apologised for everything she’s put me through re grandkids and supports our idea of a second pregnancy. She has some money to offer us NOW we find, but Lisas father Brian helped us even bigger time! Lisa said “yes it was your worker at The Will of God that told me.” “Needless to say very surprised not to be talking to Mr and Mrs McKenzie, but that you were part of the fund  being Smith yourself years ago, you know?

Chapter 12  – Monday part 2 of 2 – partly back to work  AND partially trying new things

Haf an hour further discuss with Suzy, including all the side effects from both pregnancies!

Lisa was asked of their names for both twins. The names if she discussed Anna (after Lisas middle sister) Lisa  and Lucy (Lisas oldest sister) Susanna Mathieson  (as they were the birth parents) BUT After a month ,changes to McKenzie, so Anna Lisa McKensie and Lucy Susanna McKenzie. . After the time were as up, Suzy fed Rose before trying for a nap. Her Mother was picking up  Curry House takeaway on the way home from work!

When her Hubby as downstairs for theirs (with Suzy asking Lisa to hold back in case she fell next), Suzy used the opportunity to walk around her floor , leaving her bedroom for the first time since returning Saturday with Rose. Ended  up one end of the house to the other on the same floor , for five minutes. With that being not too sore Suzy returned to her room with the intention maybe going downstairs the following day!  

After finishing Dinner, soon after Dr Reynolds (Suzy’s boss) visited Suzy and Jeff. “Yes I got your  messages. You still LOVING parenthood ?”  “Yes its weird – we both being Mummy and Daddy too is a great thing .Like many of our patients; the job that they never thought that they would have being parents to a child, gives them most  joy,  you know?” “Yes makes sense.. I didn’t realise you would fall that deep! , You were worried it wouldn’t work?” “Well,  mum had 3 miscarriages so she was lucky to have one, so maybe I was a little , you know! “ “yes sad but true”  After going into every detail from Thursday morning to today she said “So you still considering another child  or two? “Well as we said to his mother yesterday, Yes, more than ever! Might try what Lisa  got through the ‘Will or our own, or maybe both? However that’s making a lot of assumptions! We are having  a meeting with the Project with the home  visiting in 6 to 8   weeks,  to give me time getting over the birth. Mind you , knowing my luck, as well as adopting one, “I might end up with triplets in next pregnancy, and they’ll have to rip me open, 5 kids looking after ?” “Actually, unless you mysteriously shrink by half, you’ll be fine with 2, 3 or more?” “Cheers doc…” “Seriously Suzy, those statistics for second pregnancies being multiple births are interesting ? Especially for those who used long term contraception before getting pregnant “Well I was 20 on the pill – mums idea to regulate my cycle heavy  and irregular periods - and Lisa was 21 her IUD.” “NO guarantees ever BUT if you end up pregnant again, my only advise to you to  take it easy – like you did with Rose – until the 10 weeks scan. BUT whether you adopt, having more of your own through however many pregnancies, the fact you enjoy it is BIG factor in your own favour you know?” (Suzy looks confused) “Suzy, however you go about a second kid;, I do know you will be an amazing mother again,. I,E ,I HAVE FULL CONFIDENCE IN YOU” “Awwh thanks Boss” (hugs her standing up!)

After an amazing end t Monday, Lisa returns home,  Suzy & Jeffs’ baby Rose was fed, changed and placed in her cot, before her and Daddy fell asleep in the adult size AB/DL cot even Suzy sleeps in even now (The reason Rose one was separate than her own one was for room, plus not falling through the gaps later on. Big babies know not to fall but wee tots don’t)

Chapter 13 – Midweek with Suzy’s baby Rose Day 5, 6, 7 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), - many visitor, wee Rose’s wee car ride AND Lisa’s amazing sense of Deja-Vu…

Similar to the last few days,  mostly chill days indoor for all 3 – Baby Rose, her mother Suzy, and father Jeff! With no plans to restart contraceptive pill, BUT A  few weeks away from restarting regular PIV (penis-in-vagina) Sex, with her lochia still leaving her body (Post birth discharge for month or so).  However the following week she would try oral with her daddy/baby’s Daddy following Monday. Suzy was able to go downstairs on Tuesday, however between Suzy  and her Daddy, it was agreed shed still largely spend time in her room around 2 weeks more, for both Baby Rose and Mummy Suzy’s – latter still midday napping for now -  benefit (under regular review) Her pain was dissipating more rapidly than Lisa BUT her pain also had from a large tear in her Perineum .  After their work Tuesday late early evening, some of Suzy’s fellow PA (Personal Assistants) and other office staff  popped in, with them asking Senior Nurse Polly (i.e. Suzy’s mother) the day before o she was caught up with office politics and work over the last wee while.

Wednesday; similar but they decided to take Rose on a short car ride, for her first. Taking to one of the drive through coffee shops in Dundee (Starbucks) Wester Gourdie, with Lisa and Steve as well as Mummy and Baby! It was a sunny day and  they ended up having cold coffee for Suzy (Frappuccino) while everyone else had something. Suzy breastfed her daughter for the first time out (bar Hospital)   Suzy said to Lisa “if we breasted each other; we might get kicked out! BUT out wee little kids are fine..” lol Suzy funny again!” Also Lisa remind us tomorrow starts day about with Caroline and Byron on route to their own babies So she would nor see the Pro Mum BUT Those two were looking forward to seeing Baby Rose!) With that in mind every day night  Lisas phone is on all night (usually on silent overnight) with Byron ringing if sights of labour or delivery  happen. However seeing them from 09.00 tomorrow.   Wednesday evening it was Jeffs turn to meet his Colleagues, with his fellow programmers and other office staff to catch up ,and more besides, and see Baby Rose in person too.

Thursday was Mummy and Daddy registering the birth. Afterwards the Pro Mummy (Mummy/Mistress Jenn and Slave Carlie (who twins were 10 years old with a couple more adopted 6 and 4 years old).

BUT Lisas day was … hectic to say the least… And very much similar to a case of Deja-vu. Staying at her own family home, all top familiar the was a 05.30 call from Byran explaining  her contractions started!  -  Getting in the car  around 05.55, arriving around  06.05 Caroline had lost her Mucus plug already! With the situation moving fast, the decision was to take the to hospital , putting on some pull ups she had been using with both babies doing cartwheel so  her bladder! Leaving 06.35 and  heading direct for Ninewells Hospital (5 seat car enough room for the other two and their hospital stuff packed too!)  Lisa asked her Daddy Steve “What’s the chances of me helping out two  labours starting similar time, on the same day 1 week apart? “ “Very Slim. but you did the right thing with Suzy and Jeffs  kid, now Caroline and Byron? Well; Daddy Steve thinks you doing amazing! “Wow thanks Daddy!” “How abut next Thursday, Daddy Steve and you go do something really special like a couples massage?”  Your daddy is very proud of everything you’ve done this fortnight 2 mums to finish their pregnancy journey “ “WOW thanks… Daddy!”

Arriving just shy of 07.00 during travels her waters broke, meaning the kids were well  on their way – even faster than Suzy she was a little over 5cm dilated! Dilation took around 5 hours, with first twin 5 and a half hours later her first of the twins (first born - Anna Lisa  Mathieson – with blue eyes – arrived to the world at 16.27, her Placenta */s soon after. But  the second one was more reluctant to leave Carolines body; nothing preventing it or stuck! – However FINALLY born at 20.57 Lucy Susanna Mathieson was born  The placenta was similarly quick! BUT from start to end nearly 16 hours!  After 1 hour they left the parents in peace, with the promise “We will come and see you around 09.30 tomorrow after Breakfast!” Just after before Midnight a booking was made for a taxi to  Bryron’s  home with a plan for one back around 07.45.

Lisa had kept Suzy and others in her Inner Circles. While Lisa was meant to be visiting Suzy, now Suzy and Lisas families are visiting Caroline and Bryan to see Baby Anna and Baby Lucy too! !

Chapter 14 – Friday conclusion to  Two Labours In One Week

Friday morning, everyone was looking forward to see the two babies Lisa and Steve are now adopting! With Suzy & Jeff having a delivery of more small baby supplies) around 3pm,  and food later on. So Suzy and Jeff took her Daddies car (with Rose also coming along for  the ride) in the shared 5 seat car, driven to Suzy’s from Lisas by their Daddy Steve, car staying  1 hour around 09.30 to 10.30 with the shared car going back with Suzy and Jeff.  After that,  Lisa and jeff would stay there most of the day. Lisas mother was looking around 14.00 separate car with Brian (Lisas Jayden being babysat by the new twins sitter) bringing Lisa, Steve , Lisas Mum Polly and Father Brian).

So upon arrival, everyone was excited to see that Mummy and both her babies was doing extremely well. One looks like Caroline (the first one Anna) with the second one (second one Lucy) looking like her mother Astid, who would be also visiting that day. First nights can be unpredictable, but she was woken a few times. Her partner arrived around 08.00. Both babies 8lb 1oz each. The labour did result in a few tears towards the start of her labour, and even more during second delivery, however stitches were starting to heel and she was feeling Okay . Lisa was praised again saying “Yes my Daddy said after two early starts for two good friends in labour one week apart same time, next Thursday we’re having a couple’s massage my Daddy said! “Well you deserve it! And its now bought and paid for!” (Lisa kisses Daddy Steve  passionately!) BUT as well as Suzy’s Rose who you saw  on Monday, You should celebrate too AS YOU’VE ONLY BLOODY GONE AND DONE IT! No more side effects for a wee while at least! Caroline replied “Like the sound of that! But seriously looking forward to our next pregnancy hopefully sooner than later, and end  up with 1 kid ideally!  BUT God willing we have a second pregnancy . . a fourth  answer to prayer next year would be even better!  I don’t think that much damage down there, but time will tell!

Lisas father Brian and Mum Polly arrived after lunchtime. They were bought flowers for the mother, and fell in love instantly with their Grandkids 10 and 11 – who will soon be joining their home with Lisa and Steve! Brian said “Caroline, and Byron -  you should be VERY proud of yourself. We certainly are. And two grandparents are already besotted with even smaller versions of our first two girls names (Anna and Lucy) .”Thanks Brian” they said. “With adoption it is a bit more complex; with twins it is a bit more complex. We have both and we look forward to helping you as much as we can over the next few days initially, plus the rest of their life as our grandkids too! In addition to all that, my first great grandkids as  Lucys oldest Polly is pregnant at 22 ! Soon after came the arrival of Caroline’s mother, Astrid Gordon . She explained who everyone was. She hugged Brian also because of the money  and Lisa/Steve for helping her only Daughter  - and sons-in-law - cry for help!  “Your Mother is massively proud  of what you and Byron  created is absolutely AMAZING . They look just like me and you too! Caroline replied  “Thanks Mum!  But seriously looking forward to our next pregnancy hopefully sooner rather than later.   And end  up with 1 kid ideally!  BUT God willing we have a second pregnancy . . a fourth  answer to prayer next year would be even better!  I don’t think that much damage done down there, but time will tell!”

Chapter 15 – Baby Rose at 6 weeks - Home visit from Will of God – and everyone else’s Updates  

Jumping forward now 5 weeks. Suzy and Jeffs baby Rose is 6 Weeks Old. She’s had her first daytime laugh a few days ago. Suzy’s lochia (post birth discharge) has finally stopped, and she is getting gradually back to normal … She is the 9 it of 10 in still happy motherhood (based on 10/10 just after the birth!) Baby Rose is getting bigger every day ,and her she left her Baby with a sitter (the one chosen for her after work Debbie for half day (with pumped bottles) with no issues.  Both Baby father Jeff and mother Suzy were pumped and buzzed, looking for another for a another child (or more) together!  

A more general  clean was had on Sunday (like normal) but the Monday morning,  they double checked everything was fine, bringing her Daughter down  to the downstairs sofa (who would occasionally pay attention to other noises and some of Suzy’s Littlespace telly shows (Chuggington, Tayo the Little Bus/ Titipo Titipo, and Bob The Builder and others!).

A  car arrived with a couple of people coming out and walking to the door “Daddy Steve, you okay with getting it” “Yes  I will do my darling” “Hello… Jeff ?” “yes that’s me, come in…” (Walking them in) “”I am Stephanie and this is Ed, from the The Will of God” “Yes, this is my wife Suzy, and further along the sofa is our recent 6 Week old baby daughter Rose” . Oh she is a cutie pie!”  “Awwh thank you. Yes we heard about you through one of my best friends, Lisa McKenize?” “Aaah yes”

“First of all its always nice to place a name to a face. Secondly we loved your application! We see here you would love to expand your family. Having had one now you after considering adoption and /or  another of your own” “ Suzy replied “Yes that’s right. We really have enjoy – more than I ever expected -looking after your own Child – 6weeks… and we want to be considered for another through your service, or through myself. Seriously every day with our  Rose has been a pleasure, not a chore.  Before trying for our own, we had a few fostering placement   for a few days, and my mother (if she wasn’t at work)  would have told you an interesting story… “ “Can you tell me the story ? “… “Now I am double incontinent all life long, so giant pads/nappies and plastic pants (as well as me being  2yo in my mind)  I just in from work, and my sitter handed over to me .  One hour it took me to an hour to stop him kicking around  and finally put a new nappy on him! My own nappy was visibly overflowing and leaking… dripping a lot of pee, all over the my mums floor… but its washable, and in that case, we got the job done! However , our own Rose has been an absolute angel so  have so far, hasn’t he daddy Jeff?” “Yes, that’s true. Only waking us up halfway way though night and 2 early morning. Rarely cries unless wet or hungry too! But it does not matter of all our other kids all were the  life and soul of the party, we would still love them no mater what eh babe?” “Very true”

After the discussions, examination of rooms and looking through many things like  Suzy’s Red Cross first aid for kids and other stuff already there, and financial things. They said that they was  application was successful, and number 12 in the queue. After that, they should hear in 2-3 months.

 

 

In Other News;
The first four weeks of the new twins with Lisa and Steve went well. Adoption was granted and renaming done separately by Stat Dec (Statutory Declaration).  3 to months after this Lisa was planning on having her implant , trying again for a third pregnancy, this time her own. Jaydens first birthday party went well too! – 15 days after Suzy gave birth and 8 days after Caroline!

Chapter 16 – Baby Rose now 4 ½ months –  Suzy (now at 36yo) back at work – and other peoples news too – part 1 of 2

With Suzy’s baby At 3 months old (two days after Suzy’s  36^th Birthday), Suzy started going back to work… in a gradual manner. For first 2 weeks It was 1 day a week (Monday)  for 2 weeks, then 2 days a week (Monday and Wednesday) for 2 weeks . 1 month in she reverted to 3 days a week (As she had told her boss she thought it was impossible to leave her at home!) She had took advantage of previous offers from Suzy’s mother and others similar to watch her baby Rose, on a couple of occasions her and her hubby/Dady jeff were able to go clothes shopping etc. on their own, have a lunch, or massage, or something similar, 4 or 5 times.

With both Big Babies having  kids of their own, plans had been Adapted, Improvised and Overcame! Monday to Wednesday as before, but every night staying in their own home. Thursday and Littlespace/Mummy day, then staying over on one home (like before) . Friday morning was a good chunk of the day having the two Mummies (Lisa and Suzy) time with their kids. Early evening sitters take over the babies -and all 4 have some naughty play times! The following day is similar until 5pm for guests Mummies etc. on occasions – or 2pm  if nothing before planned). For the rest of Saturday and all Sunday  it was a bit of everyone and everything  together before the visiting family returns home to their own homes.

In the third  week of Suzy back to 3 days at work, Tuesday lunch break she took a call from a number not on her phone “Hello, Suzy Clarks phone” which she did at work unless her bosses phone rung;  Dr Christina Reynolds phone, Suzy speaking). Hello Suzy ,this is Ryan from The Will, Is this a good time?” “Yes no problem, at lunch!” “Well your application we have good news, you have a  Potential Adoption! Her name is  Vee (short for Veetee)  Chambers. She is 24 years old   and  13 weeks pregnant, expecting a boy. She was with a guy  (Brian Cotter) for more than a year. They wanted a kid BUT the grannie over-ruled them sent Brian down south  (ED: this loosely happened to my sister – real life - BUT she had the kid as a single mother! Sad but true!) So would you and your other half be interested in adopting after the child is born? “ “Yeah should be good,  I will get in touch with my partner BUT sounds good, and text you back later on”“ I know you work tomorrow but we could have her Thursday morning around 10am at your home?” “That’s times fine. Leave that with me and I will message you back?” “Yes I will do. After it taking a little while to get through to her Daddy/ Baby Rose’s father Jeff who agreed this would be a magnificent  opportunity for our second baby! (Her boss too!) and they were looking forward to Thursday morning.

Wednesday was a similar working Day, and her Daddy Jeff took a half day Thursday to meet Vee  in relation to her pregnancy and hopeful adoption her forthcoming Baby (Big Baby Time with Mummy Jenn and Lisa  - a full day - was swapped for afternoon only. Suzy and Jeff allowed more than enough time to treble check from 09.00 before 10.00 arrival of Vee and her project worker Ryan. Everything was here with Suzy putting cBeebies on in the interim (with muting with subtitles when they arrive) . Their first baby Rose was in a bouncer so she could see  TV – not that concentrating yet but Mummy Suzy was! However she was also there so Mummy could keep an eye on both her baby and chat to the visitors, as well as if the guests fancy cuddling her! 09.50 Ryan arrived first before Vee at 10.00.  After Vee sat down Suzy “you know you look very familiar – I just can’t remember” “Well I have seen you at Eastgate,  I am a patient there” That’s it!” “And is that your other  kid, Rose?” “yes, she is now 4 and a half months old – and growing bigger every day! Do you want me to bring her closer for a hug” “Go on then , ooh she’s so cute, and looks like Mummy and her Daddy in her eyes Vee said.

Vee then explained her situation again, before going into more details about her family. She was the oldest of 3, but the only girl. (Steven at 21 and James at 17). She was shown round Suzy’s family home ,explaining one of the 3 spare rooms  would be for her son – probably next to her Baby Roses room (although she still sleeps with us for now) until around 6-7 months. It was mutually agreed that Suzy and Jeff would be perfect parents to look adopt, and look after, her Son-to-be. It was formerly agreed to move that the Adoption goes ahead. She would receive 120 per cent of the Will of God minimum (like Lisa and Steve topped it up!) In addition she was given  £1,000 cash, with her bank details taken to give further £29, 000 (topping up to 30k) by way of an extra over and on top of everything.  She also exchanged her forthcoming appointments to Suzy and Jeff. Suzy said “We look forward to helping you as much as we  can. We look forward to seeing your son enough. If you need any  other advice or the like, just give us a ring, or if you just need a shoulder  to cry on, here’s my numbers (gave  her work Direct Line , my mobile and my home numbers?) I will try and get an appointment next week with my boss (who specializes in pregnancies and gynecology too?” “Thanks Suzy, Thanks jeff” (hugs them goodbye) . She left a voicemail for her boss, giving her explanation and could you book a pregnancy consultation for Vee (Veetee) Chambers ? She is my adoption match we discussed Tuesday, and – we just found out – is our patient too! (She later on texted Suzy a date &  time for  which she would message to Vee as well”)

Suzy and Jeff texted their Inner Circle of the news; to a massively positive response! “Daddy we are going to be parents… again – Adoption but still feels good Daddy” “It does indeed Mummy”

“And thank you (kisses Suzy) for getting us to do that project application. Her back story is so sad, But during this pregnancy we could at least make us feel like a VIP” “And Lisa suggested it! BUT we are having a second kid!” “Yay Suzy” (mum and Dad tongue for 2 minutes before Rose started crying for a feed and change”)

” Half an hour Lisa arrived with food before her Daddy returned to work (office day).  “Congratulations Mummy and Daddy on your second” (Hugs all round). “Thankies Lisa. We really appreciate you suggesting that place!” 14.00 and Mummy Jenni  / Slave Carlie arrived for baby session “Congrats Suzy and Jeff on you second kid!” “Thanks again… still sinking in! How’s your four little kids doing?” “Not too bad, although arguing with each other again” “Awhh sorry to hear all that! “At least something Suzy won’t be looking forward to with her second?” “we will see. However irrespective  we vowed – when we were thinking to  be able to start a family – we’d take the bad with the good, rough with the smooth ; you know???

Chapter 17 – Baby Rose now 4 ½ months –  Suzy (now at 36yo) back at work – and other peoples news too – part 2 of 2

After the Mummy session, Friday was as planned with their kids (all together at Suzy’s home this weekend in week about, as was done for quite some time. The two twins (Anna and Lucy) had settled down like Jayden. The two parents were taking it night  apart (with more than one kid) with Lisa pumping into bottles for when she was at work ,and now night about with Daddy Steve too! Of course both parents were busy trying to make other pregnancy by their own bodies too! Of course how far Suzy falls next time for her kid is anyone's guess…

… Saturday Mistress Britanny and her Slave arrived (see Me at 25 Story, Chapters 36 and 37) with a similar day of fun but no piss drinking that time! Sunday was the Kink event for the first time in some time. - the first time since Suzy’s labour and the twins birth Lisa adopted. With Suzy’s Mummy and Jenny (the sitter who covers for Suzy at work) covering 3 of Lisas and Suzy’s one too! Very similar to previous months (see Me at 25 Story, Chapter 26) “Kinky Subby Babies… But Any Guy Sex has to be with condom, as we are both trying for another Baby!”  And the best of working Mum’s life (or leaving the kids at home for similar stuff)  - coming home to their Kids!

Chapter 18 – Baby Rose now 6 months old  - news of Vee’s pregnancy – Other Kids news and making more kids of their own

We jump forward by 12 weeks. Vee is 25 weeks pregnant and everything happening on route to Suzy and Jeff helping up to her own birth.  Most recent scans look like a quite a large baby – with her bump akin to having twins . Last time Suzy went on Maternity Leave at 28 weeks BUT it was intended to start Adoption Leave from 30 weeks with her Daddy paternity leave again at 32 weeks! They had agreed to use Suzy birth plan with both Suzy and Jeff in labour and delivery, with her mother Bridgette being on standby and helping after the birth . Suzy’s baby Rose has already started sitting up once or twice and moving around .

Lisa’s (just turned 36 too!) adopted pairs birth parents (Caroline and Byron) were expecting  too with 11 weeks gone. The most recent scan confirmed it was only one child inside her, but Lisa’s father (see Chapter 3 this story). Still paid her for twins (75k) for some reason though – he said “yeah, no mistake my end. I had the money set to one side, so it is no issue! Maybe put others towards your next pregnancy?” “Thanks Brian will do” Caroline texted back to Brian!

 

Actually, talking of Lisa… there was something else… oh yeah, she’s pregnant! At a recent weekend at Suzy’s home she could see her period was getting a little late! So it was decided if she did not have her period Monday night (which she did not - but she told her fathers work she might be late to work!) Tuesday early morning Suzy arrived, placing test 1 in her nappy (no control even less since labour!) – positive – test 2 positive  - so she   (as she had the shared car) give her a lift to Suzy’s work (Doctors surgery) and after an  hour or so a nurse got her bloods taken (as a walk in). This was sent  to the lab and Lisa continued to  her own work in her car ,getting there 11.15! Thursday she received a message when with Suzy, and ringing surgery confirmed “Congratulations ,you are pregnant Lisa!”  Suzy gave a massive hug before saying Well done and Congratulations Lisa! Hope I am next” she said, while Lisa texted her Daddy then her Inner Circle to positive response.

Chapter 19 – Baby Rose now 7  months old  - Suzy’s two surprising telephone calls on one day, with Vees baby coming early – part 1 of 2

 

Suzy’s baby Rose has now had her Baby Food experiment tests for a few days when they were at work, since then she’s trying half milk, half baby food (some made at home like they did years ago for baby Suzy and Lisa!). Sadly she’s started teething too!

Vee’s child is at 30 weeks. At the beginning that week, Suzy had started her Adoption  leave. Suzy had her phone on all night for Vees number since 20 weeks. The name already chosen was  Barry Andrew  (after Daddy Jeffs late father – with middle name from Suzy’s father) . Vee wanted no reference to fathers name! Similarly to Lisa last Suzy was very late for a period too! Lisa helped her like Suzy; two positive pregnancy tests. A blood test was ordered to make sure, and Suzy called her work to here them confirm she was pregnant!
 

But never did she think that her next Motherhood journey would be so soon…when she was drifting off 23.30, her mobile went. And the number could only be one – Vee! “Hello  vee, anything wrong … so do you see blood or something?” “No … I think he’s coming, as Started contractions and my (mucus) plugs gone…” “Right, I will be over ASAP And we try and bring my Hubby” Her daddy was woken by the words Suzy spoke “Its Vee! She’s started contractions, and lost her mucus plug,. I am going over now, and are you coming too?” “Definitely.. so what’s the likelihood of survival; on work experience baby?” “9 out of 10 at 30 weeks – so will be fine! It might take a little longer to come home you know?” Suzy then drove them to Vees home (getting there at 23.50 . Her waters had now broken “yeah he’s on his away” With only a few things  ready to roll (some most important ones already done) it took around 35 minutes to make sure all checked, all packed, and ready at 00.40 by the sore and the like pain, and Suzy told Vees Mother “I have some work experience with pregnancies, so I will do my best for your Daughter! So you go back to sleep and you can join us in the morning – because she’s started early – we will see you there? “ “Thanks Suzy”

 Suzy got her Daddy to ring advising the Hospital we have a woman who s gone into Labour  at 30 weeks, so they knew they would have extra help on standby! He had to let his Bosses on a voicemail to advise the kids on the way, so he would start Paternity Adoption Leave a little early… and holy sh8t there were a lot of people waiting when they got to Maternity 15 minutes later…   Jeff went to book her in, similarly to when Suzy had her first , before joining Vee and Suzy in the labour room around 01.20.

Chapter 20 – Baby Rose now 7  months old  - Suzy’s two surprising telephone calls on one day, with Vees baby coming early – part 2 of 2

The first person came within 10 minutes of Daddy Jeffs joining the women (1 only just found out pregnant again, 1 going through Labour albeit 10 weeks earlier!) A doctor and  a nurse came through to the Labour room (Jeff had told at check in that those two were adopting the child post birth through the Will of God, so they knew). It was said 8c m dilated! “Because the baby was a decent size, as we found at Vees 25 week scan, and the fact you brought Vee that quickly means I would say 99 per cent sure all will be  well . After Vee gives birth, soon after that Vee and Barry  will go the neonatal ward - don’t worry as this is standard – and Assuming no further complications or no more than minor infections, he will be allowed to go home with Suzy and Jeff around 4 weeks before his due date, so around 6 weeks! However,  Suzy you seemed to know  just what to do by ringing ahead and coming in ASAP ? “ “I work As a PA for a Doctor who specialist and personal interest in with pregnancies and gynaecology?” “Ooh , what’s their name?” “Dr Christina Reynolds, at Eastgate for 6 years “Aah I know her  VERY well… she’s a great woman full stop… one of the true legends in her field! Any kids of your own Suzy?” “A 7 month old Baby Rose, and today found I am expecting again. However, I want you to concentrate on the labour in progress?” “Yes that’s the plan we discussed with your husband checked Vee in earlier!. So for now, just stay with Vee. Someone else is coming next to  help Vee in, and they will help you through it!” (leaves 02.15).

Dilation stage of labour stopped at 07.55. Starting Delivery stage for quite a while! Vee’s mother (Destiny Chambers) arrived around 09.00,- agreed last night she would come in rather than on standby because of the fact her daughter started so early! – Suzy caught her up “Oh Suzy I really appreciate everything you’ve done and also looking after her son after that f*****g b*****d left her? (ED: Dundonian mothers are particularly defensive looking after their offspring) ” “Well, no worries. Come in and see your Daughter… “Hello Mum, thanks for coming”

After close to 9 hours Delivery Stage (partially with the size of her Baby), Vee’s baby Barry Andrew Chambers (to be Clark later)  was born to the world  at 16.45, weighing in at 10lb 4oz. Placenta was quick in  15 minutes.  She fed her Baby on route to Neonatal Unit. She and baby for around 6 weeks. It was similar to most other post birth  deliveries, although special premature baby cots -and not  quite scrubs but face masks and aprons – “A small price to pay for both Vee and Barry’s health”  She knew that Suzy and Jeff – and her mother – would visit daily. In Suzy and Jeffs case they left to go home 20.45 with Vee’s mother too! “Irrespective of everything, you should be PROUD of what you have done with giving birth!” “Yes I am” said Vee.” “We will see you around 09.00 Saturday morning!”

Chapter 21 - Baby Rose now 7  months old  - weekend overview day after Vee gives birth early

Overnight, Barry woke up 3 times ,but more frequent  nurse check-in’s  (for first night only) woke her more! She dosed off for around 2 and a half hours when her child woke her 07.45 (She had alarm set for 08.00 with Suzy and Jef f from 09.00ish, and breakfast around 08.00. Doctors checked in with her before breakfast She explained fine-ish  - as she ‘d rather had been doing this many weeks later – and with the person who got me pregnant BUT Suzy and Jeff stepped up to the gate!   She was expecting the adoptive parents Suzy and Jeff, and  a few other guests. Despite being a boy – like Lisas son Jayden – he looked more like his mother!

When Suzy texted saying they were parking up outside (with Jeff, my Mother and Father. For just now my kid is being looked after my BFF with Lisa who has 3 to avoid any infection) for a couple of hours  with her mother  and a few family late afternoon, and Jeffs mother coming in a few days!. She used the opportunity to bring Barry over to next to her  chest (not long fed!)

Suzy and  she said “Hello Vee How did you sleep?” “Not my best. Double the 2 hourly check ins and Barry a couple extra times” “How many times did Barry Wake you up! 3 or four, but one might be with the nurses” “Now I will introduce you to the grandparents my side, I live with them still . Mum aka Polly Larsson is a Nurse at Eastgate, now so the most Senior  Nurse or Senior Nurse Practitioner in the  practice. My dad Andy Larsson has worked in manufacturing since college and is  a part owner of his factory! “Good to meet you  Andy - Nurse Polly/Larsson again “ “

After a couple of hours (and god knows how many kisses and cuddles)  they headed home to their family home “Daddy Jeff, you remember we were talking about Lisas daddy now has an 8 seat mumtruck kinda thing” “Yes I do.” Well would you be willing to either upgrade your car or get another 8 seater? As there’s 2 of us, 2 kids now and definitely at least 1 coming”?

“Well hunney , how about I buy you an 8 seater sooner rather than later and the shared car can go to Lisa or keep spare? “ “As we certainly scraped into this second pregnancy , yes I would say now is the time”

Lisa had been told about food in the oven (already in freezer!) So it was already in and almost ready! Everyone was then caught up with Vee and Barr’s  progress. It was decided to give Suzy’s daughter formulae as an experiment (with Suzy going in for the last week or so of Vee and Barry before bringing Barry home to) and that was also  a success.

Chapter 22  - Vee and Barrys 6 weeks in hospital – and even more surprises for Big Kids and Mums Suzy + Lisa

Every day Suzy (and generally Jeff) visited Vee and Barry for at least 1 hour each day!  She had a tablet BUT Suzy / Jeff upgraded her TV options for  1 year – so plenty watch in recovery weeks, and year ahead too  - so plenty to watch or listen to ! Suzy’s  boss (Dr Reynolds) had been aware of her early labour , leaving her a voicemail  Friday. She rang Suzy saying “Well I am sorry to hear she was premature. But with the kids size, it was good. And I think I have been training you well ?” “yes – I knew what to get in ASAP, and getting  my daddy/hubby to ring ahead for a 30 week early delivery; and holy shit there were a lot of people outside! Like my labour Vee was check’s in by Jeff, explaining Will of God adoption (showing paperwork was helpful!) If I adopt another I will go off at 28 weeks not 30. But she got through labour well. Better down there than me, but she would really wanted to carry the baby to term!” “Well that s great…. How’ s the kid?” “he’s actually very well!” “Do you approve of me visiting  Vee and Barry after work ?” “Technically your patient, but yes I think she would appreciate another visitor” Suzy said, double checking she had vee’s mobile phone . “And I look forward to meeting him in you and Daddy Jeffs home one day soon, and also, hopefully your own – and your BFFs Lisa  - pregnancies go successfully! “ “Awwh thankies boss!” “As you know people living together will sync up  their menstrual cycles together… but 2 Best friends expecting 5 weeks apart is rare and special “ “Awwh thanks again boss. .. we get married two minutes apart too…” After ringing off , Suzy returned to her plans (a few extra supplies for the new Baby Barry) on Monday and most days that week! Wednesday their new car was delivered, after going round to the Car Garage on Sunday .

In the 4^th week Suzy was gradually spending more and more time with her adoptee (Barry). After a few attempts, Barry was fed by Suzy half way through that 4^th week.  5^th week she stayed night about, , 6^th week entirely. Baby Rose (now  8and a half weeks) was welcomed in Vee/Bary 3rd week in hospital – no problem – and seemed to  bond “that’s your wee brother Barry!  A few times when she was staying at the hospital, Rose dint like settle as well – but a WhatsApp video call worked well ! So Baby Barry finally got home with Suzy on 6 weeks after his birth, and Vee  finally home! Towards the end ,Vees kids father had showed up and they made  peace, even though they are still separated! 2 Weeks after Barry was sent home, Suzy and Jeff returned to their work!

 

 

But their own pregnancies; their side effects were worse! While it was Lisas massive surprise to find out she had twins inside her, Suzy fell off the chair at her 10 week scan  after hearing  “Congratulations Susanna and Jeffrey, you are expecting triplets!”

The following Monday  (Suzy 11 weeks) is where we go in Chapter 23!

Chapter 23 – Suzy at 11 weeks again,  Lisa 16 weeks again , Rose 1^st Birthday

Barry was 14 weeks old, with Roses first birthday 3 days later on Thursday  (having  said her first word “mamma” the previous week).  Monday morning she met her Boss (Who knew it was triplets by text  like her inner circle) “Well I guess that your strong side effects… but CONGRATULATIONS on hopefully THREE more kids – your 3^rd, 4^th and 5^{th “} (hugs boss at length!)

“And when I was off with just after Rose was born, you did say I would be fine for triplets or more… so you called it” “The chances of multiple births with two friends expecting multiples don’t exist! Lisa still looking forward to another 2 kids ?” “Yes probably a different birth plan: not decided to try vaginal birth  or c-Section but hopefully around 24-28 weeks half way through they’ll have decided”

“And how’s Rose and Barry? I am looking forward to Roses party! “And so is she! Everyone’s good. Daddys happy as we knew wanted another pregnancy, just a little  settling in were having three more! Just as well as we bought a  Mumtruck like Lisas!

I don’t know how far deep into motherhood I will fall with 5 to look after!   We are discussing options for maybe taking a up to 1 year career break - with the second kid coming so  early -  and with us 5 weeks apart due day, us both having Doulas too. In addition intend going back on the Pill, with my age and five kids meaning all room is full – however – if we get an extension or  other space for 6^th kid then never say never! However its still all early days, hopefully all kids survive for us both! “True very true “ “and your first appointments here” “Thanks again Suzy”!

Lisa day had Monday at her Fathers first office (696969), generally then Tuesday (City Cabs), Wednesday (Tele), then Thursday (by her job share  colleague Sarah) are split Monifieth and Tayport Cabs, with Friday  (by her job share  colleague Sarah) all day ABC Perth.  That Friday she was looking forward to 16 week scan on Friday (Thursday everyone looking forward to Suzy’s Rose 1^st birthday!) while also 16 week scan may or may not be able to show what’s in  Lisa’s tummy.

Thursday was Rose’s birthday – and the evening before Suzy’s mother, Rose’s sitter and her hubby Jeff – helped Suzy decorate her room suitably to her Mums orders!  She has Barry in his own room now separate after last week! Just like Lisa and Steve Daddy and Mummy take it night about with changes and feeds (plenty bottles in warmer for every night!) The main party was scheduled from 18.30 that evening. However she woke up her Daughter, having picked her out her Cot (before Daddy Jeff went to work “Happy Birthday  Baby Rose!” With the plan a few hours littlespace   with Mummy Jenny and Slave Carlie earlier on – that evening  around 60 Adults and kids enjoyed  the party  Friday  Mummy and kids  time at Suzy’s (with Lisa leaving her 3 for a couple of hours – their sitter came to Suzy)  while Lisa found she was expecting 1 boy and 1 girl (one of each). Then the weekend was even more fun !
