You folks suck

   People really need to start donating to this site. I've done $ 175 myself this month which is really tough for me to afford. We just can't continue like this, my friends.  The Admin Team works hard to keep this place safe & happy ( minors, pedos, spammers & especially the Nigerian scammers). No one wants to see this place forced to become a pay-site.  $400 a month to preserve, defend and protect our membership isn't so much to ask. If you like this place, I invite you to show the love an put your money where your mouths are.

- 20 people donating $20 a month

- 40 people donating $10 a month

   Is this really too much to ask ?

Is there ANY way you folk can establish a Paypal path for payments?  Apart from the obvious cyber risks of disclosing CC details to another site (yes, I understand the mitigations), having offshore pings on my credit card will attract the kind of attention from my partner than can make for a very bad day.  It's not the payment (although as I don't earn anymore, I need to be careful), it's really the mechanism of payment that is my #1 challenge.

I suspect I'm not alone here.

 

ps:  I donate regularly to Wikipedia (via Paypal) because I use it and support it so I'm not against the idea.

@DailyDi is there a way money orders could be accepted as a way to donate?  Paypal is not very secure either not to mention they sell users' data.

I have only donated a few times, I know money is tight for all, we have had a really rough yrs to say 10 yrs, rough. Trying to figure out how to pay the bills here just to keep food and the lights on, I have never been able to afford nice diapers like some. But I have a question how will the site donations show up on credit card? I haven't looked when I did donate. Not hiding that from my wife, just wandering.

Most of our advertisers pay once a year and that goes to cover the other costs of running this website (software/hardware, internet access, domain fees, taxes, etc...) as well as a small income for me and mom. With this tariff BS I am really concerned about this coming year's advertising contracts as its harder for our sponsors to make money off of our mostly US traffic.

Thanks I will see if I can do anything to help, this site is a good friend making with like minded people, I depend on this site for my pastime being disabled, and I wouldn't be able to use it if it became full pay site, so I hope we can keep it safe and going as donations site....

Unfortunately I have to buy all I can from second hand,, but lately that's dried up, and I am forced to use cheap Prevail with a doubler also cheap. for daytime and I have stocked up over the last yr on some good finds at second hand, Secure plastic backed Nice,,, and I still have some Northshore I also got 6 months or so ago that I use as sparingly as I can but I get lucky and find some that I mix different almost every night with a couple layers of cloth etc etc..If I can get any Northshore or more of my onesies I will ask him again for that link.. but I am always on the lookout or $4 a pack stuff I can use for layers. I told my wife as tight as we are, I may have to just put down layers of towels, cotton stuff on my spare bed and start sleeping there with no diaper or a cheap one...Hang it out to dry and put it back to use again...Our fire ins taxes medicare everything and a new $450 windshield has been a part of the past few months and etc and I don't want to ask what's next, I didn't list all of it, if we don't cut at least $300 a month somewhere we are gonna be living on credit cards with no way to pay them off ever..

Yes, you can use the card to donate, or give me the card details and I can run it. I self-donate using rebate cards I get from time to time as I can do a custom amount and use the full card value instead of leaving a small balance for the bank to keep.
