Overnight Pull-Up

Recommended Posts

Fell asleep with just a pull-up on last night and thankfully it just barely did its job and the bed stayed dry. These Incnontrol pull-ups are the first real-deal adult pull-ups I have tried.

Hope that's not the start of the end of tape on diapers.

No it was a shorter than usual, light night. I still would rely on a real diaper for extended wear.

Pull-ups only works for those who have light incontinence and not those who flood

I wish pullups were good as actual diapers, cause they are so easy to put on and take off, pullups so appeals more to my toddler side, and I'm such a goodnites fan boy. The 2 main down side to pullups are 1. They're less absorbant /more leaky at times and 2. They tend to sag alot more

I feel like sagging is a feature and not a bug lol but yeah the more it sags the more you'll leak if you keep peeing...I'd love a more absorbent goodnights. Maybe it'll come soon enough. Overnight pull ups are still relatively new and those hold way more than normal ones, so there's hope I feel

This seems to me like trying to buy a sub-compact car with a 325 cu in V-8. Is not the purpose of pullups t resemble "big boy" underwear? and are worn in the context of being able to use the hopper to at least a limited degree? That is not goung to be able to hold Lake Superior. For overnight, you want something that has a high capacity. That has to be a diaper unless you intend to wake up to go to the head, in which case you would not want an "overnight" anything

I would say though that the goodnites design and structure is way less saggy and more snug fit, than a traditional quote granny panty style of something like depends. I just wish some incontinent or abdl company would take the structure of the goodnites and make it bigger and more absorbent. But I understand why they don't go down that route because there's not enough demands for this and what I've heard from tykables  ( think it was them) a goodnites or even Huggies Pull-Ups design and structure is hard to make for larger individuals

^^^^ this. theres def not enough demand which is sad. i feel anytime theres a whisper of an abdl disposable pull up, it quickly dies. at least cloth ones are cuter and thicker now

I know which is unfortunate because I feel like we would have gotten decent proper abdl pull-ups if some people in the community werent kind of biased with it to be honest. Plus again what tykables  have mentioned that producing the pull-up design that we want ( like Huggies Pull-Ups) probably will be very difficult manufacturer-wise.

Because to me I would like designs like goodnites, with that toddler vibe, have a mimics like an actual underwear with the fake stitching design. Because I know a lot of middles like me , particularly would love that. I hear some picture references of do's and don'ts for abdl pull-ups I would point out. The greens are dos and the reds are don't in the picture

@Demon-hunter As I have stated to others, there are two specific audiences: one that uses the pull-ups, one that uses the full tape on diapers because they cannot just dribble. I were to use a pull up, every single time that I would use it, I would flood myself and I might as well be peeing on the floor. This is part of the reason why I won my argument with the state. I need a diaper that I can rely on, not one that I just keep on peeing in seventeen times all day long and then I have to change it once. Have to use it, I have to unload all of it, and even when I have a mega max on, I still have to be careful because even if you have a dry mega max, if you have to hold it and then release everything all at once, you will flood.

I would not want diaper manufacturers to just get rid of The heavy duty tape on tab style mega max diaper.  I also want to make sure that the quality of the diaper that comes from China is as good as or better than what should come from the United States. I'm not sure why they have to change the way AUSA diaper is made versus 1 from China and that is what I'm afraid of. 47 will make that happen because he will not want China to have any easy way out, but there are some of us that require some of these types of products that come in from overseas and that's what I'm afraid of, that they'll be so expensive that I won't be able to get the quality that I'm used to.

I remember one time when I talked to N Shore myself, they told me that there was a difference between the North Shore air, which is a cloth version of a mega Max, versus the tape briefs that I wear. I was automatically told that " Mega Max Air Diapers are not designed for people who are Fully incontinent."

My dream is that whoever needs whatever they need will be able to get it, because if there were three of us at Mike's house and we're all standing in the same room we all wear diapers for the same reason, each of us would wear diapers that are all different, because what may work for Mikey for example may not work for me what may work for Elfie may not work for me or something else, it all depends on what happened, so we have to be able to have the ability to make choices and not be locked into one particular style or locked out of one particular need because of high cost or tariff.

@~Brian~ well I was making a statement that I wish pull ups themselves were at par with tab-based diapers. And it can be achieved if a company or someone will actually pursue it. All you need is I'm tinkering up the design and stuff and there you go. But like I said before there's not enough demands for it unfortunately so therefore I don't think a company would invest in it. Because I remember wearing Bambino made there pull up version it did not go well.

Yeah, but I feel like the main reason that doesn't happen is because if pull-ups were more absorbent than regular diapers then parents would get overly reliant on it. It's happened before. There are some lazy parents in this world. Which sucks because I feel like there's people that really need Pull-Ups style diapers for little kids, big kids, and teens. And I just know that there's a huge market just waiting to be tapped into. I just wish people that were incontinent like kids had better options cuz wearing diapers or pull-ups is not something to be ashamed of. And you're right, I hate saggy Pull-Ups, can't stand them, especially when they leak.

And as for the adult side of things, I feel like there's not enough demand in the abdl market for that. Which is funny because I feel like if those ABDL companies would just try it out then maybe there might be more of a demand than they initially thought. And it would be a great option for people whose little ages are like 7, 8, or 9 or 10. And not necessarily a toddler or a baby.

I was referring to tape on diapers in general.  If they start making pull-ups so absorbent they last all night I hope that doesn't spell the end for actual diapers.

And 3, you have to take your outer pants totally off to change your pull-up.  Not a problem, though, if you go about your day wearing nothing but a pull-up.

Hmm.... pull-ups are easier to put on / take off?     Try that when wearing pants.  So you have to pretty much completely undress in a restroom, starting with taking off the shoes (yuk.... now my socks are in direct contact on the floor where most people can't aim worth a shit).  Take your pants off.... where do you put them?  Drop them on the same floor?  Hell no!   Then undo the pull up.... and finally reverse the process.     Sorry... I don't think so.

hmm.... I see now I kinda mirrored Rusty's comments too.   But, still a valid point for those trying to go about a "normal" life on the outside.

I guess to me changing in public restrooms like that never really bother me. Heck I'm am pretty quick at doing it. From stripping down to my bottoms, ripping off the pull-ups and putting  a new one on. And I'm fully well aware that some restrooms can be nasty, but honestly the toilet you set on to crap in might be nastier than the floor you're stepping on. And not to mention, if I had to change with a diaper, I might have to be laying on the ground just to put it on properly because there's no adult changing table. And for me. putting on a diaper is far slower than me putting on a pull-up. Just because of my lack of experience with diapers so I put them on slowly, and sometimes I don't put it on properly :(

I guess that's my defense on that

While they were admittedly cheap store bought adult pull-ups, I found that an adult pull-up weighed the same as largest Goodnight. 60ish grams IIRC.

Good thing the pull up held up overnight!  I'll have to give the Incontrol pullups a try sometime.

The only pullups I've tried and liked are the Northshore Go Supreme. For a pullup they're absorbent and they're great for short term wear and discretion. (Nothing beats a good old plastic backed thick premium diaper for absorbency though).   '

Sounds like the Incontrol pullups might be in the same ballpark or even more absorbent!

Go Supreme is my #2 choice. Incontrol seems to absorb a little faster to prevent leaks, but both are good.

I just hope they are available soon on a US web site so it ships faster.

Dry Direct Premium is  good, holds 5 cups.  I used for 8 hours one day.  Premium is available in black and white.  There is an Overnight version, but it's only 4  cups.
