Do you use your diaper for everything? If so, how do you manage #2?

I wear diapers 24/7 but only use them for #1, 99% of the time. My #1 habits have evolved notably since I started only wearing diapers, about 5.5 years ago - I basically go all the time, everywhere and anywhere, in relatively small amounts, every 20 - 45 minutes. 

I do an experiment every couple of years where I try to go a few days using my diaper for everything - you could think of it as along the lines of a pilot who only flies single engine prop planes wanting a chance to test drive a commercial jet. I don't completely abandon myself to the diapers, however - I only use them for #2 when I have clear skies a head of me; I'll hold it until I'm in a safe place, or use it earlier than I have to, if that coincides with when I need to change my diaper anyway, to avoid assassinating a diaper early in its lifecycle, and/or to avoid putting myself in the position where I have to load up and clean up somewhere inconvenient or in the public sphere. To quote one of the greats here, I find the cleanup "agricultural", so it's not relaxing for me to contend with that, and it inevitably increases my diaper burn rate, because my rule is, once the earth has been scorched, a new diaper is called for - I rarely go more than a half hour with a load on board, and if anyone is home, I change immediately - I'm self-conscious about smells. 

So, I'm curious about what rules or cadences others employ, when they use their diapers for everything.

I’m 24/7, so I always pee in my diaper. However, I do enjoy a messy diaper from time to time, but let’s be honest—sometimes it’s just not convenient! When I’m in a situation where cleanup would be a hassle or I just don’t feel like dealing with it, I use the potty. But there are definitely those moments when I choose to fully embrace my diaper and go for it. It’s all about balance for me! 😄 Just make sure to plan ahead, especially if you’re not at home—it can make all the difference in keeping things fun and stress-free!

I only use them for #1 but I love layers, stuffers, mixing disposables, all-in-one washables and terry cotton squares all at once. I like to wet myself silly. I go through periods of wearing every night but I find after 3-4 nights, it loses its magic a little, so I have a break. I can usually tell within a half an hour or so if I'm really enjoying the comfort and softness. Best times for me are when I'm either winding down from a good day and it's the perfect end. The opposite is also equally important, even more so, when I need some psychological comfort when I'm tired, upset, vulnerable or tearful. The thick disposables and layers mean I can go without a change for a long, long time. I enjoy the swell and wet warmth. The layers keep the odour in and the next morning I ensure to have a good lie-in in the thickness.

I went to bed moderately wet in a Molicare Active Slip diaper and Equate Overnight Pad from Walmart. I am now up this morning verrrry wet and messy and no leaky diaper, just wet, warm, full, squishy ecstasy this morning making me shiver with pleasure. I am not incontinent, my wetting and messing is for my own personal comfort and enjoyment. I am close to 24/7 in diapers and wet all the time, which means literally all the time while at work, with my wife, friends, wherever, without anyone knowing I am wetting, although there might be a momentary glassy eye gaze when I wet my diaper. I wish I could go potty in my diaper all the time, but social courtesy and discretion prevails. I know that there are internal "deodorants" that are chlorophyl based but I guess I just prefer my natural poopie. I am a strategic diaper pooper in the privacy and solitude of the early morning. I don't mind changing and cleaning up at all, only takes me a few minutes with adult wipes and a wet and soapy wash cloth.

I wear 24/7 and have for years. In the past year I have begun to have weekly or so #2 accidents. Fortunately the only ones I've had in the presence of other people were "sharts" and well contained. I'm not a big fan of messing and really don't like the clean up.

I wear diapers 24/7 but only use them for #1. #2 is not my thing.

I wear now and then when the mood strikes and I have the opportunity.  2 or once in a while up to 4 times a week anywhere from 2 hours to maybe 6+ hours at a time.  If I'm going to poop in my diaper, that will usually be on a Saturday when I know I have time to enjoy it, clean up and air out the house before family gets home.  When I wear and have to poop but don't want to mess my diaper?  I simply slide my diaper down like underpants, sit on the toilet to poop, then when finished I pull my diaper back up and go on with my day.  Not a problem, especially if I wear plastic pants or a onesie over my diaper.

I routinely mess my diapers it has become pretty normal  most times I go either in the morning or evening.  While i don't carry a diaper bag i always have spares in my car..  I usually get notice it's gonna happen so i try and get to a less occupied area and change as soon as possible

Well for me, being an adult baby and Incontinent, I wear diapers permanently and use them for everything including pooping and peeing in my diapers. Being that I am not potty trained, I have no choice but to go in my diapers.

i wear mostly for mental comfort, most nights, cloth and plastic pants.  I rince out the night diaper during morning shower and hang to dry in the garage.

For me, the answers were too prescriptive for me to accurately reflect my situation.  I chose the "strategic use" option since that's the dominant use-case.

In reality I would say that 90% of my used nappies are merely wet.

Providing mess is well contained, I don’t mind the feeling of a “full” nappy and actually find it strangely comforting. It’s a combination of the intimidating nappy changes and being offensive to others that limits their appearance in my world.  They still happen, just not every day: privacy, convenience and proximity to changing time can see them occur.

And these days, accidents...

The other vector for full nappies is gastro-intestinal disturbance colliding with a general de-conditioning of my pelvic floor as a consequence of years of permanent nappy usage.  I've noticed consequential episodes of #2 incontinence.

I’d imagine in the old days, uncontrollably filling my pants in the office carpark would have most certainly taken my psychological state straight to Defcon 1.   Maybe it’s habituation.  Maybe it’s because the consequences of taking a dump in public are substantially muted (albeit not completely removed) by wearing a nappy all the time but these events have downgraded from the “CALL AN AMBULANCE!” panic response that I’d have expected from myself in the "before nappies" times to “Oh yeah, that happens sometimes these days now how am I going to deal with this?”

Plastic pants and compression pants will work to limit air exchange which will somewhat/temporarily mute odor but I wouldn’t rely on it for very long.

I wear diapers nightly, ever since having a wet bed incident several years ago and promising my wife I could avoid it going forward by using proper protection, so we agreed to me using what was necessary to avoid the laundry for her.  I started with pullups, but had some close calls, so went to waterproof pants over that, and soon moved to full size supper all night diapers.  So far, only a few damp leaks in the morning since.  Shortly after that progression, I realized that tossing a good diaper (not so inexpensive any longer)  in the morning was a waste, so started to roll over at night when needing to go, and simply using my diaper and going back to sleep as opposed to the mostly dribbles prior or the rare starting to go before I woke enough to get out of bed and off to the potty. Got more sleep as well avoiding the once and sometimes twice trips to bathroom at night.  As the months went on, this became so much easier that these days I sometimes feel my self wetting only after it is well underway and probably soon will not even wake to notice that? Not sure if this is my enuresis getting worse or my simply getting used to being in diapers, but in any case, I am sleeping better and that counts for something.

I do use my diaper for #2, but that being said I pretty much only do #2 once a day unless I am sick or I eat too much food that particular day and I might go #2 twice in a day. Usually when I go #2 it is in the morning after I eat my breakfast. The way I handle it as you can probably guess is I change out of the diaper which is already wet from overnight wetting. I empty the poop from the diaper into the toilet and roll up the messy diaper and dispose of it in a diaper pail. I then clean myself with wipes, put some powder in the bottom of the new diaper and sometimes add baby lotion to my bottom. I then put the new clean diaper on . Like I said I usually only have to deal with a messy diaper once per day.

I'm a DL who wears diapers for fun and I do enjoy messing in my diapers.  It's somewhat strategic for me as I only wear diapers when I'm home alone.  I'll poop in my diaper and sit in it for several hours.  There have been times when I really had to poop really bad and held it in until I got home and could put a diaper on.   A few times,  I could barely hold it and pooped uncomfortably as soon as I got my diaper tapes fastened.

I'm poopy right now and won't change until I fully soak this diaper.

Making #2s makes me feel more little but I am definitely strategic about when it happens. I wouldn't want to impose it on others if I was on the tube or something like that.

Not just any poop , but from my own , butt hole really nice and warm , and it just goes everywhere, and I love to make it go , everywhere just using my butt , squishing it all over , so it’s up in the front all over my butt , and my junk too and just before that or during I will just wet , dribble it wet too , I can’t make it hiss out anymore , but a few ounces at a time ! When it’s all done  it may have taken afew hours to get the job done , and then it all just starts over again ! I do this in just about any position, but we all end up sitting in it , squishing it until the mess starts to make noise , and I would never think of , changing until at least    4-5 hours has past , and believe me it’s still warm , as I just dribble in them until it’s sagging , and way full !

This pretty well sums up my approach. I only wear when I know I'm going to have the house to myself long enough to enjoy a wet, messy diaper & enough time to clean up.

I usually only use my diaper for peeing but if I feel the mood I'll poop. I'll usually try to poop in a diaper I've already wet and before I have to go out somewhere, so I don't have to mess in public and I can change in my bathroom. I'll stay in a messy diaper for a bit but usually they're changed very soon after I poop and then I throw them out in the garbage can. I don't stay in a messy diaper for more then thirty minuets.
