Kansas City therapist

Anyone on here ever when you talk to a therapist about being abdl in Kansas City or Grandview belton area?

I'm not sure how the location matters, but I have been very open about my ABDL life with my therapist here in St Louis.  My experience has been that medical/psych professionals act like professionals. They accept it. If it has some bearing on what you are working on, they will discuss it with you. In my case, I have been doing grief therapy. It has come up, but it isn't the focus of the therapy.

It is the current discussion with my therapist, though not in Kansas.

It's also the reason Ive been posting alot more, she suggested a small amount of exposure therapy just chatting with people so i dont feel so much of the gilt and shame keeping it all to myself seeing that so many share the same experience.

So here’s the deal I went and talk to a therapist about it. It was a male therapist and I went and told him that I love to wear adult diapers. I told him in the beginning they turned me on, but not no more. I am comfortable. I feel like they’re my safe place. I recently told my wife that I like to wear them and she’s making me choose between them or her so I’m trying to quit.. when I talked to the therapist, he said he has heard of abdl but you can definitely tel he didn’t know much of anything about it. So I was trying to find one that has experience with diaper lovers.

I do not envy your position at all. Accepting my ABDL side is a must for a partner. Thankfully my wife has been quite supportive.

The two therapist I have told have been very supportive. One was even gleefully ready to discuss after researching it.
