Changing diaper size as I diet.

As I have mentioned before, I am under 5'5" tall.  I was always overweight, but it got a lot worse right after all the covid issues, and I ended up gaining about 25 lbs until I was warned by my doctor late last year that I needed to change medication or do something in order to prevent issues with high blood pressure and even possible future diabetes.  Hearing this from my doctor got me really nervous, and in fact I got so nervous that I decided to screw worrying about changing medicines, and instead made it a major goal of losing weight as quickly and safely as possible.  This all happened in early September of last year, and I have gone on a diet that not only has a goal of losing weight and getting healthy, it also has a side effect that my diaper size has dropped as I have lost weight.

My starting weight was around 225 pounds, yes I know that is way over weight, and that is why I decided to make losing weight a major priority.  At the beginning of my weight loss I would wear either a large or extra large diaper depending on the brand.

It was really easy to lose weight in the first month (end of September), which is always true for a new diet, but I was able to cut back on eating and increased my exercise, to the point wear I dropped down to about 197 pounds by the end of the month.  Just to let you know, I check my weight twice every day, and try to be strict on eating, with extreme limits after the few times I go out to eat with friends. At this point I really didn't think much about the diaper size changing, since I still was what you would call fat/obese.

October was another fairly good month, in which I was able to continue my weight loss down to 186 pounds.  Not a great month compared to the first month, but I was more than happy with how much I was able to lose, and expected that from there on the weight loss would continue to slow down every month and I would never come close to double digit weight loss again.  Whenever I had a bad couple of days, or even a bad week, I would think about my health, which gave me the drive to lose weight.  I did notice that the pants I started off with at the beginning now would fall off without a belt, and my shirts had become much loser.  I even went and bought a smaller belt since my other belt couldn't tighten up enough.  I also noticed that my diaper size was now a solid large, and the X-large diapers are now just too big for me, which hasn't happened in a long time.

November was a very surprising month, since I had expected to stay even, or even gain wait with all the family get togethers (thanksgiving and then into the Christmas season), and instead I ended up losing 9 pounds.  I was completely ecstatic over the loss and happy that I was now down to 177 pounds.  While I still felt like I had a big stomach, and felt fat, I notice that all my measurements of my body had shrunken, which I guess is the ultimate goal of losing weight. I had always known that my bicep measurement were more based on fat than muscle, but I was surprised with my measurement dropping from about 15 inches (not muscle) to 13.5 inches.

December showed me that I was definitely doing something right in regards to dieting, otherwise how would I explain that I was able to lose another 8 pounds when I was hoping for 4-5 pounds if I was lucky. Being at 169 pounds puts me to what I weighed when I was in my 20's and I am currently 62. What I did find is my fascination with my body measurements, as well as with my diaper size.  I went and bought a package of medium diapers to try on.  I tried to put the diapers on, but was disappointed that they really wouldn't fit, but I did feel like with a little more weight I could wear them, or I could squeeze into them, but the tabs would likely break. My original goal was to get to around 170, but my fascination with my measurements and diaper size had me wondering about how much weight I could lose and how small of diapers could I wear?  The healthy weight per health standard for me is around 120-145 lbs, which I always felt was way too low, but I was curious what I would look like if I dropped to the lower size of that range, or if I could even get that low, so my weight goals had changed. I was also very curious about how much it would change my bicep measurements since the average male of my age is 13.4" and the average female is 12.7".

January through February I was able to keep up my diet and didn't need to worry about any special holidays that would have meeting eating out or eating with my family, which tend to be the activities that either make you gain weight, or at least stop your diet dead in its tracks.  I ended up losing a total of 16 pounds during the two months which dropped me down to 153 pounds. I found that I was now able to wear the medium size diapers, in fact they had more than enough room in my waist, which is something I have never done since I started needing diapers for incontinence. I had dropped to between a 30-32" waist size for my pants. I also found that my bicep size dropped to 12.25" (smaller than the average female in my age group). At this point I was really curious how long it would take me to drop enough weight to fit into a size small diaper, and was also curious how much more my bicep size would shrink as I lost weight (most of my work out classes are aerobic and work out the lower body with only a little upper body workout)? When I take my aerobic classes, I have had people comment that I have lost a lot of weight, I have also noticed that as much as my arms have shrunk that many of the women in the classes have better developed biceps than I have.

March I continue to stay fairly even on my weight loss with another 8 pounds lost. I have been able to stay fairly uniform on my monthly weight loss by being really strict on my diet and checking my weight every day to help keep control.  Typically I will make my main meal, cut it in half, and eat the second part on another day, which does leave my hunger a lot of the time, but not to the point that I can't handle the cravings for food. I had dropped off to 145 pounds which is what I probably weighted around 8 grade in junior high school. I also found that my waist size was pushing towards 28 inches. I forgot to measure my bicep for March.  I had gone and bought size small diapers which are typically for a waist size of 20"-30" to see how they would fit on me.  I was surprised that I was now able to actually fit into the small size diapers and wondered how much it would take to get into an extra small adult diaper or even if it was possible to fit into the largest children's diaper size?

As of today (May 19th) I weighted myself at 133 pounds which is another 12 pounds in the last month and a half plus. I now have a waist that is around 27.5" and I also measured my bicep at 11.5".  As small as I am compared to what I did weigh, I am still within what the standard ranges if per health charts that say for my height I ideally should weigh between 120-145 lbs.  I would like to lose enough weight to fit into an extra small diaper and maybe even the largest children's size? Based on my waist size I am at the upper end for an extra small adult diaper.

Congrats on the weight loss!! I'm about 40 lbs over what my doctor said is best for me, and I know how hard it is to drop the pounds. Is it a certain kind of diet, like keto?

It sounds like you are getting close to being able to shop for diapers in the baby section, and buying Pampers for yourself!

Good job - that's a tough slog and you've killed it. What you have accomplished is not easy. Remember as well, that in some ways, you should look at any individual pound as being an ever-increasing percentage of your body weight, so the more accurate measure of your progress may be to look at the percentage loss rather than the pound loss, for any given period.

I know that when I am at the top end of my weight range, I can drop 5 lbs the first week I start trying to lose weight, whereas when I'm at the bottom end of the range, it can take me a month or more to reliably drop 5 lbs. But if I drop 3 lbs when I weigh 300 lbs (for example), then that's really the same as dropping 1.5 lbs when I weigh 150 lbs. Trying to drop 3 lbs when I weigh 150 lbs, is the same as trying to drop 6 lbs when I weigh 300 lbs.

Also as you reach your goal, it is inevitable that your progress will slow, because your body goes into "conserve" mode, which was a useful response when we lived in times of limited food, but in the world many of us are fortunate enough to occupy now, calories are available in ridiculous abundance.

I’m jealous.  I’m in the same situation you were and would have to lose 100 pounds to get to where you are.

I just got really strict about cutting back on eating and staying away from any fast food or fried food and I tend to have a lot of chicken, turkey, etc..  I also try to use wraps to eat food and stay away from bread as much as possible.  It is no special diet, it is just the will power to ignore the cravings, and to make my one main meal as something to look forward to as much as possible.

When I first went on a diet I wasn't thinking about my waist size or bicep measurement, it became of interest when I started to notice how small my bicep and waist measurement had become, and how my diaper size had continued to drop. I am really interested to see if I can get down to the largest child sized diapers!

I am also interested in how small my bicep size can become since the average 80 year old woman has a bicep size of 11.4 inches and my biceps are currently 11.5 inches. Just curious how low my weight and bicep size can get?

Congrats ! Keep it up. Also, if weighing yourself twice a day is how you like to do it, then go ahead. But usually it’s recommended to pick a single moment each day and weigh at that time in the same conditions (for example, right after waking up and going to the bathroom).

the reason is a person’s body weight can healthily fluctuate as much as 2kg (about 4.4lb) simply due to normal and healthy changes in salt/fluid balance. Our bodies need a specific of Na+ in our bodies and if it gets too high or too low, our brain tells our kidneys to pee more/less.

it’s actually why people “feel bloated” after eating Chinese food—super high salt content causes the brain to tell the kidneys to retain water and the water has to find space in the body. Of course, all that water gets peed out 2-3 days later assuming someone returns to lower salt amount and healthy kidneys.

But again, if weighing yourself twice a day motivates you, keep it up! Just don’t get discouraged by fluctuations.

It has been almost a month since I posted, and while I have lost a little more weight, it hasn't been as much due to not really having much unwanted fat to lose anymore, and instead my dieting is most likely removing more muscle than fat. My loss in weight is now more due to my wishing to see how small I can get, and less to do with needing to lose anymore weight for health reasons.  I have gone from being obese to thin since I started losing weight.  Something I would have never thought I could do at my age.

I was at 133 pounds back on May 19th, and now I am 129 pounds. My waist is at 27.1" and my bicep has dropped to 11.1".  I can now squeeze into an extra small diaper.

I have stayed relatively steady in my weight and size with only a little bit of a change.  I currently weigh 123 lbs. My waist is right at just under 27.0 inches and my biceps are 10.95 inches.  I am happy to stay right around my current weight, but might loose a couple more pounds to get down to right around 120 lbs.

I have found that older women really like being with smaller guys and I am recently dating a new woman who is 74 and who is significantly taller, heavier and stronger than me. We both enjoy the fact that she is the dominate one in our relationship.

Congrats on reaching your goals!! I know weight loss can be tough...   Does the new woman in your life know that you wear diapers? Does that play a factor in your relationship?

We met at a senior center at the park near where I live. I was really attracted to her because she is taller, bigger, and obviously stronger than me.  We talked for a little while and she asked me why I was interested in her since she was so much bigger than me, and while talking about the reasons she came out of nowhere and said she didn't want to embarrass me, but noticed I was wearing a diaper and said it was no big deal since a lot of the women at the senior center always talked about how they had leaking issues.

If you are interested, I can tell you more about getting to know her what we talk about, and how things have moved forward for us.

Way to go on your weight loss.  It's such a tough thing to do so congratulations.  I'm on the right path myself but I've already noticed that my diapers fit much better than they used to.  I still have a long way to go but I'm up for the task.

Not sure why it was so much easier this time around, but even if it took me a year, I was going to grind on through on my weight.  I hope I have made enough changes that I can keep my current size which my girlfriend now calls "Fun Size".  Not sure what she means by that, but it sounds cute?

Sure... It's always interesting to hear about how relationships develop, especially when the sometimes negative aspects of incontinence and/or diapers are involved.

I had the chance when I was at a get together with family members to grab some pampers size 7 and 8 that had been brought by a family member for their children.  I had been curious if I would fit into the diapers! I found that I can now fit into the size 7 with them stretched, but found the size 8 fit easy enough now. Considering my waist is about equivalent to that of a pre-teen or size 4 womens size, no surprise that I can squeeze into children's larger size diapers.

Obviously due to the amount of pee I still need adult diapers, but it was interesting that I can still fit in them.

In regards to how my relationship started and how I met, but first I asked my girlfriend what fun sized means, and I turned red in the face and was really embarrassed when she told me. She told me it refers to me being short and petite compared to her and she just thought I was really cute with how small I am. She said she loved me exactly as I am and wouldn't change anything. My last measurement at the Doctor had me at 5' 4.5" tall and as I mentioned early I weighed 123 pounds and have maybe dropped one pound if anything since then.  In comparison we measure my girlfriend and she is 5'11" tall and weight about 185 and is in amazing shape for a woman of her age and physically could pass as someone in their late 40's or early 50's if not for some of her wrinkles.

How I first met her was when I first started to go to senior stretch and aerobic classes. I had been doing some classes before, but hadn't noticed how much strength I had lost over the period of time from when I was well over 200 pounds to the point where I first went to the classes and I weighed around 145 pounds.  Some of the classes we get light weights that we hold out while balancing and doing light lifts. I really wasn't sure how much to use since it had been some time and so I looked around to see what weights other people were using and noticed a lot of the people used 2-5 pound weights for each arm, but notice that the one lady was using 8 pound weights, she happened to be the person I am now dating. So I decided to try six pound weights since it was my first time in the class and I didn't know what we would be doing or how many reps. I quickly noticed after a few sets that I was struggling with the weight and took a couple of breaks while other people in the class continued to work out. I guess it had become obvious to some others that the weight was too heavy for multiple sets of reps for me.

The lady that I am now dating came over next to me during a quick break and very quietly and nicely said she noticed I was struggling with the reps and that maybe it would be easier if I changed to a lower weight until I was used to being in the class at which time I could go heavier if I wished. She told me I needed to find a weight that would be easy for me to use for 3 sets of 10 of each exercise. She suggested that I used 3-4 pounds to start, but first try 3 pound weights and see if I could keep up with the class for the next 5-10 minutes.  I went ahead and used the 3 pound weights and did OK, but definitely noticed she had an easier time with the 8 pound weights. After we finished the class I started to talk with her and asked if she would like to go and get something to eat so we had a chance to talk some more.  I am really good at asking people to get together with me, but they almost never say yes, so I was surprised when she said that would be fun.

We ran off and just got something to east and talked for a while and I learned that she was single and loved to work out at the senior classes as a way to meet new people.  I really didn't get any vibe that she had any interest in getting to know more about me, but was pleasantly surprised at the next class that we took together when she acted really friendly and said hi to me the minute she saw me. She introduced me to a couple of her friends that also took the classes and I got the feeling that she was trying to introduce me to women that were around the  same height as me that she thought I would be interested in. The long story shortened is that are started to go along with her friends out for a friendly lunch every once in a while. I should point out that I started to take the class near the end of March and that we had gone on and off out as a group through the end of May when one of the women we were with mentioned that I looked like I had lost some weight and that she was a little worried about me.  I told them that I was around 145 when I joined the class and had been in the middle of trying to lose weight down to around 120-125 pounds and currently weighed around 130 pounds at the time. That seemed to be enough for them and nobody really said anything else about it.

Not long after that, at the beginning of June, I asked her if she would consider going out to dinner with me either to a Mexican restaurant or Olive Garden or a similar place. She was really nice about it, but politely said no thank you but thanked me for the offer.  I figured that was the end of that and we had been relegated to the friend zone.

She came up to me at the next class and said she was sorry for how she had been so abrupt, but wanted to ask me question about why I was interested in going out on a date with her? She told me that she had asked a couple of her friends in the class what they thought about me asking her out and they had said that even while I was too short for her, they thought I was a really nice guy and she should go ahead and give me a chance since at our ages height isn't really important anymore. So she asked me if after the class would it be OK if we go get something to drink and talk about it for a while at which time she wanted to ask me a lot of questions. She said she had some direct questions and told me to say something if any of her questions bothered me.  I of course said yes.

The first thing she asked me was if it bothered me that she was so much taller than me? I told her that I had always been attracted to taller women, and that I didn't see an issue with the difference in our heights if it didn't bother her.  That is when she told me she was 5' 11" tall and asked me how tall I was.  It told her I was 5' 4.5" tall. She next said that she knows I was under 130 pounds and said she weighed about 185 and asked me if that was an issue with me. I told her that I know exactly what she looks like and the bottom line was I though she was gorgeous as she is and found her very attractive. She asked me out of curiosity if I ever measured my biceps and I told her that for some strange reason I had been keeping track of my bicep size as I lost weight.  I told her my biceps were a little over 11 inches.  She made a comment that she felt like a big Ogre after I told her my bicep size.  I asked her why she was an Ogre and she told me because she had 14.0 inch arms. This was also when she had mentioned out of  nowhere how she didn't want to embarrass me, but noticed I was wearing a diaper and said it was no big deal since a lot of the women at the senior center always talked about how they had leaking issues.  We ended up laughing about everything we had talked about and figured out that we actually liked being together.

Over the last  month and a half we have been dating and getting more comfortable with each other and during this time I have learned that she has a very dominate personality, and likes to always be in charge.

I can tell you more about this if interested.

It would be interesting to hear how her dominant personality is expressed in your relationship..

When I get a chance, I will provide what has happened so far.  It should be noted that our relationship is fairly new.

I have had the chance to get into a life style with my girl friend, and have learned that the closer we become the more dominate her personality has become.  While I may still be 62, and she is 74, she is in much better shape and much larger than me to the point that she can literally hold me down with one hand and her body weight. Since we started dating, she has total control of what I eat, total control of my weight, and total control of my exercise or anything else that I do when we are at home or go to the senior center to exercise.

Since we have been attending exercise classes at the senior center together for some time now, and all of her friends have gotten to know me fairly well, they have no issue teasing me about how much bigger and stronger she is than me.  One of the favorite things they like to do is to get her to flex her bicep at the same time as I flex my bicep.  Since she has a 14 inch bicep, and my bicep is just under 11 inches, there is an obvious difference is her arms to mine. I really look like a little kid when standing next to her. In comparison to the rest of the class, which is mostly women, I am shorter and smaller than about half of the women in our exercise class, so they love to tease me about it.

My girl friend also like being in charge of changing my diaper and has been perfectly clear that she will punish me if I remove my diaper without her. I learned the hard way what happens when I remove a diaper without her permission. Considering she is about 185 lbs and I am just over 120 lbs, it isn't hard to figure out who wins out if she punishes me.

(I will tell you more later)

I hope I'm successful as you in losing weight.

My goal is to lose 20 kg in about a year, so its at snail pace.   (44 lbs)
Just gonna be more active and eat less sugar.

I have bought so many diapers that I can't fit into, so the main goal is to fit into and use those diapers.
Also have clothes I can't fit into.

After COVID we went into serious diet mode and I dropped a 40 lbs and a whole diaper size.    I'm back up after a few vacation trips but I'll get there again.

The good news is that most diapers (I really only use the tape on kind) have a lot of adjustment room.

(I said I will tell you more later, so I am finally getting around to it)

When I mentioned my girl friend has been perfectly clear that she will punish me if I remove my diaper without her, she had said she would punish me on the spot no matter where or what we were doing, but never really said what that punishment would be, and I thought she was kidding. She always acts in a dominate way, but most of the time she is just making a joke, and had never actually gone through on any of her threats in the past.

A few weeks back, when I was getting diaper rash from being in a wet diaper, I decided I couldn't wait, and went ahead and changed my diaper on my own. She came home from working out with one of her friends from the senior center and introduced me to this woman. We were talking and she noticed that there was a diaper in the trash and asked me about it right in front of her friend. It was very noticeable that her friend gave me a strange look when she heard what my girlfriend had said to me. I apologized and said I was uncomfortable and couldn't wait for her to get home. She has always been even tempered around me, and never raised her voice in an angry way, but she was pissed and let me know that she was pissed at me.

She then grabbed me by my arm and started pulling me over to a chair telling me that I was going to get a spanking for what I had done.  I struggled against her and told her to let go of me, but she ignored me, while dragging me along behind her. Her friend made a comment that maybe she should leave and come back an other day, but my girl friend told her that she would be done quickly, and that she could stay, and shouldn't worry about how I feel about it. When we got over to the chair she sat down pulled me over her lap, pulled down my shorts, and removed my diaper in front of her friend.

She asked her friend to go into the bathroom and grab her hair brush and bring it to her. With the tone my girlfriend was using, I noticed that her friend didn't say anything, and did exactly what she was told. She then started to spank me really hard with the brush, and I was doing everything to free up my hands and cover my butt, but she was easily able to control my hands while spanking me. I have no clue how many times she spanked me, but I was definitely crying, and my butt hurt a lot for several days after she spanked me.

I think the worst part is that several of her friend now know about the spanking.
