Or do you find you are so accustomed to the routine you never forget? Sometimes this happens. More often, I am just worried about it. I feel close to running out. Or I am visiting someone and I start to worry I will run out of diapers.
Reddy Posted January 12 Author Posted January 12 Tonight I have the plug in and I'm keeping it in for at least an hour. My goal is to put it in every day, eventually use it all night overnight every night, and then switch to a larger one. 2
superabsorbantpolymer Posted January 12 Posted January 12 How was the plug? Have you been using your diaper for everything? 1
Reddy Posted January 12 Author Posted January 12 It was good and I'm going to put it in again now. Probably for longer time this time. No I haven't been but hopefully I become totally bowel incontinent soon enough. 2
superabsorbantpolymer Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Great thanks for the update. Just remember. You don't need permission to use your diaper. You're spending money on them anyways, don't subject yourself to the chore of holding your poop when you can just use the diaper you always have on you. No more toilet! Your training will work much faster, psychologically, logistically, socially, hygienically etc you will become accustomed to releasing whatever is in your bowels as soon as it gets there. Practice relaxing your pelvic floor, when you feel the need to poop pay attention to how uncomfortable it is and then how nice it feels once you've let it into your diaper. It won't take long to condition yourself. I think it's absolutely essential you do that before the surgery. The surgery would be all that and more, since it's basically just making your digestive system continuously drain into your diaper, so way more changing. You can adjust to the life tho, it's not so different from what you're already doing but it is far less discreet and more demanding. Such is the price you pay for this folly we pursue. 5

This is a good push for me, thanks. Some good news, only 3 days into seriously trying to stretch with my butt plugs and I made this progress. Day 1 - could keep small one in for 1 hour Day 2 - could keep small one in for 4 hours Day 3 - could keep medium one in for 1 hour My goal is to be able to keep the medium one in overnight, every night. 1
Reddy Posted January 15 Author Posted January 15 I'm taking a break for a few days, my urethra and tip of my penis hurts from the plugs bothering me so I am letting them recover.

Damn, Reddy... I'm not a doctor, but it sounds like you're putting the butt plugs in the wrong hole! 😆🙄😯 1
Reddy Posted January 15 Author Posted January 15 Lol I put it in the correct spot but it pushed on my bladder and urethra and caused all the pain. It used to happen to me when I had pain without a plug, once something gets irritated inside, it makes the urethra hurt and it makes the tip hurt really bad even though it has nothing to do with the tip. The body decides to feel the pain there I guess. But it's from the big size pushing on all my inside parts so forcefully, and it still hurts today. It will get better and I will keep going but I guess I'm no surprised it happened from the sudden ramping up.
Reddy Posted January 16 Author Posted January 16 My balls were killing me the past few days. It was really bad. I wasn't feeling good and had to stay home from work and sleeping on and off, but every time I woke up my balls are killing me, it's all burning. I was too tired but finally put baby diaper rash cream all over my balls and it helped a ton. If you are ever back in diapers you have to keep diaper rash cream on hand all the time. It helps everything. 1
roo Posted January 16 Posted January 16 If you seek bowel incontinence I think you need to get used to the diaper rash. Thats certainly one reason I don't often use my diaper for poops. If its really bad, you might have a secondary fungal infection. If I get bad a combo of barrier cream and antifungal helps a lot.

What is the antifungal called? Maybe I need it. The cream helped a lot though. And it was only from pee not pooping but I was bedridden all week.
Diapered Dave Posted January 17 Posted January 17 You've been incontinent for almost 2 years... I'm surprised you've made it this long WITHOUT diaper rash cream!! I've been wearing diapers pretty much 24/7 for the last 2 years, and I have to use diaper rash cream several times a week. And what roo said about bowel incontinence and diaper rash really rings true for me too.. In the few times that I've ever messed in my diaper, I start breaking into a rash in less than 20 minutes! (Maybe I should put milk in my cereal instead of battery acid...) You might want to run a UTI test every once in a while too.. Since you now have an open route to your bladder from the surgery. You can get home test kits on Amazon. 2

If I go even two days without rash cream my balls will be bright red. Welcome to the rash club ;). Work that cream into your daily changes, particularly the preventative one 1

Work that cream into your daily changes, particularly the preventative one Wow I guess I am really lucky. The only other times I had problems was when my whole butt was upset from being wet all the time, that one went away. And another time I used nair to get rid of hair but it burned my whole crack from my lower back down so it hurt on my back between my cheeks, it was really raw and sore. Diaper rash cream finally made that feel much better so it healed. I never had this problem with my balls burning until now. I thought my pee went suddenly radioactive and the only thing I could think of is, I hope my pee goes back to normal and stops burning my balls soon. But I guess I just needed to cream my balls and maybe my pee was normal the whole time? Weird.
Spargano Posted January 17 Posted January 17 It’s possible you were dehydrated which would make your urine more concentrated and acidic. That would make it worse. Either way. You have seen the amazing properties of the rash cream. It works and it is a good barrier to prevent it from happening in the first place 😀 1

I think I was dehydrated at that time and needed to start drinking more water. So maybe my pee was way too strong. I guess that's another reason for me to keep drinking tons of water at all times. Normally I am always sitting in a wet diaper, every moment of my life, with no problem. So I hope drinking water will protect my skin.
PeterLupus Posted January 17 Posted January 17 I used to have regular rash issues before adopting a rigorous discipline of always cleaning myself throughly at the times of diaper changes, and always applying ample amounts of barrier cream (Dimethicone baby!). But sometimes I loose anyway. Therefore, I always keep zinc-based rash cream, antifungal ointment, and hydrocortisone cream on hand, and I always have yeast infection medication with me. I should do better with hydration. 1
brenty Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Drinking more water will also help your diapers absorb better and avoid leaks—highly concentrated acidic urine can interfere with the absorbency of your diapers. 2
Reddy Posted January 31 Author Posted January 31 I'm still dealing with the urethral damage I have from using the butt plugs two or three weeks ago. I've had blood in my urine, pain, and difficulty emptying my bladder for weeks. It's really demoralizing having to deal with all this when I was simply trying to stretch my anus. I want to try again, but it feels like such a setback and I'm even more wary now. Not a good start to what I was hoping would be a consistent butt plug routine. 2
longislandguy Posted January 31 Posted January 31 How did you get urethral damage from a butt plug? 1

(We all know that a doctor can feel your prostate by sticking his finger in your butt...) I think he should drop an e-mail to the doctor in Mexico and ask him his opinion on what is happening.

When I give myself a shower enema I noticed movement and instability of my stent, leading to migrations. Anything hitting the prostate from that end is going to have an effect and if the plug hit right it could definitely cause damage. This is why we all have to he to be cautious with anything we put in our bodies. What @Reddy is describing may be nothing, just a little soreness and minor trauma or it could turn into something life threatening with infections. I hope he gets it checked out to be safe and then maybe look to see why the plug hurt him. Was it the material? The size? Etc. 1
Reddy Posted February 1 Author Posted February 1 Yeah, and it's not just generalized pressure on the prostate, although that alone is enough to cause serious movement and stretching of tissues. Here is a little visual exercise if you want to understand why what happened to me makes sense, or if you've never had urethral irritation from something in your butt. Hollow plugs have sharp edges (relatively speaking) compared to non-hollow plugs. A regular, solid plug is just a mass. A hollow plug is like a fruit corer. Imagine shoving a fruit corer up your butt. And then visualize where your prostate lives, and how easy it is to access it from inside your butt. And then remember where the urethra travels through and near... the prostate and bladder and everything else that resides right where you shoved it in. And then imagine having had a surgery or two with damage and scarring of the urethra and partial removal of the prostate. And then imagine that this fruit corer-shaped device, while rubbery, is quite firm in shape, and it is applying specific and pointed pressure to these areas with its thin lip-edge. And it's applying this pressure at maximum tissue stretch levels, because it's as big as you can take. Is anybody wincing yet?
