so like, this was obviously exaggerated for tabloid reporting but I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around... why?? Not to mention divulging or exposing people to your kinks without consent is a huge violation of their boundaries.

There is absolutely no reason employers, family, or anyone outside of a relationship or kink group should know you're a little, full stop.

I've been working primarily from home since the pandemic kicked off, so it's easy in a zoom call or whatever to have a golf shirt on over a diaper, and nobody is the wiser, but back when I used to physically go into work, or travel for work, at least 2 -3 days a week, wearing a diaper was never a problem. The reason for that is primarily because I'm not an exhibitionist, and I don't seek to impose it on anyone. Prior to being in back diapers, I'm assuming that nobody I worked with gave much thought to my underwear, and nothing about that has changed, nor should it.

This guy is pretty infamous for posting diaper pictures in places where he knows he'll get trolled, like 4Chan and EncyclopediaDramatica. He wants the attention and humiliation.

Hence why he gets no sympathy from me! Wonder what he plans to do in his life when his family or support system dries up...

Here is the thing.  At some age it is just not appropriate to walk around in public with nothing covering your diaper.   And that age is typically once you can walk.

He obviously wants attention, and even thrives off the negative attention.   You can definitely wear a diaper in public, and nobody needs to know about.   Just like, I probably won't know if somebody is wearing panties, boxers, or going commando.

Ricky Gervais posted this to his Facebook page.

Clearly this kid gets off on humiliation. This is a textbook case of a paraphilia that’s crossed over into pathological. He needs a mental health professional.

I had a relative post this story on their Facebook, asking what was wrong with people today. They don’t know about me being ABDL, nor does anyone else in my family. So much of me wanted to say “we’re not all like this!” It just sheds a bad light on us in general as it makes everyone think that all ABDL’s are exhibitionists who walk around, flaunting their diapers in everyone’s faces.

I don't know how much of it sheds us in a bad light compared to just him.  Since most of the muggles of the world don't really know, or care if somebody is a regressive adult baby in the privacy of their own home.   I've worn diapers outside all of the time, and nobody ever notices.  If they do- they won't be like a bunch of middle school and go "Ew- gross."    They might be curious, and wonder why I have cute patterns on my diapers, but for the most part it's just a choice of underwear.  And why I choose to wear them is not anybody else's business.

This guy on the other hand is getting off on the exhibitionism, which is cringy.   However, I also have to wonder what the allure is of this shock-porn culture.   What  I mean by shock-porn is not actual porn, but this desire to be outraged over things that are really just oddities.   Sharing a story like this with the comment "OMG, what is wrong with people today," is really just an extension of the Karen-porn that is being shared on internet.    In reality- he is a weird guy who has limited emotional functioning and enjoys the negative attention he is getting- while trying to somehow play the victim.      Metro is just playing into this public fascination with shock.   T

There really isn't much of a story here.  A weird guy is unemployable because he doesn't behave appropriate in the workplace.   His inappropriate behavior is  strange, but how many people struggle for employment because they refuse to make modifications to their behavior/appearance.

I always find the backlash to this type of article interesting.  It may reflect badly on the individual but also spreads negativity ABDLS in general.  I have posted below a link for you perusal.

Hello All:

I am lucky:  I will say that for all my life, I have had Cerebral Palsy, and a few times when I was a kid, I had to wear diapers to keep the sheets or bed dry, simply because I was in rehab, and they did NOT want us getting up out of bed without assistance: several times, I wet the bed, because of their idiotic rules, and sometimes I was lucky that I was able to get someone to give me assistance with either a Urinal at bedside, or a hand to the bathroom.  A couple times, when in Rehab, they didn't diaper me, and I wish they had, because I wet the bed, and YELLED at the staff there, because I KNEW I had to go, and they wouldn't let me.  CRAZY, Huh?

Now, as far as wearing diapers to work:  I had to "come out" to all of my volunteer staff, and my church friends, because of a phone call that "exposed me" as a person who is incontinent - This was NOT because someone at work found out about it, but because of a MINOR transgression and a BIG misunderstanding that "blew up" in my face:  I almost fired this support agency, and reported them for insubordination, and for lack of professional ethics, due to privacy concerns.  It should be NO ONES BUSINESS that you wear, use or like to wear diapers, and accommodations should be made for those that have to wear and or use them.  It should be up to the INDIVIDUAL to decide whether to disclose this information, especially if you are disabled, and working - Remember, a Diaper is simply underwear that you can pee/poop in, and that's IT!

The people that are in my "close circle" know that I am incontinent, and the rest, they don't have to know!

I feel that most of the "stigma" of having to/wanting to wear for whatever reason comes from lack of UNDERSTANDING of and ACCEPTANCE of those that have to do it - You could be the best at your craft and have expertise in many things, but if you are disabled in any way, sometimes, I feel that chances are LOST because someone may show interest in a position or aptitude for a certain job, and are NOT hired simply because you are disabled, or something similar.  Just because you may have to wear diapers does NOT DIMINISH the contributions people can make to society - I made the decision to go 24/7 in 2020, and there are VERY RARE times now, when I do NOT wear a diaper:  I am getting older, and cannot climb stairs very easily, and I don't want to fall and injure myself, so I carry my "Go Bag" behind me at all times - Does this make me, or other people that may have IC or other conditions any less valuable?  HELL NO - I don't wanna, nor would I wanna walk into a job interview and disclose an IC condition until I am pretty sure I would be HIRED, and that way, They can't NOT hire you because of you being IC.  Diapers are NOT something that should be shunned:  If you wear at work for NEED, FUN or for comfort, As long as you deal with the changes yourself, what difference does/can it make?  You are doing a JOB, not being judged because of your underwear or bathroom habits!

Again, who CARES what you wear UNDERNEATH your clothes, just as long as YOU are dealing with it?  People are Incontinent for a REASON, and should not be chastised by employers for their actions, unless their actions interfere with business transactions or office decorum or productivity:  Lawyers (like @Angela Bauer), Webmasters and Computer Consultants (like me) and others do our jobs and do them well, and WHY should employers care about that, if employees do their jobs well - PERIOD - FULL STOP!

Respectfully,

Brian

Nah, he got fired for taking diaper pics and videos at work. He's not childish, he's a straight up pervert and exhibitionist.

@Little Lindsey

Serves the guy right:  Remember, I said that it shouldn't matter what you wear UNDERNEATH your clothes, as long as you deal with the changes, and it does NOT INTERFERE with the ability of a businesss to transact sales, or office decorum in general.  I just don't like it when a disability can be used (even though it is supposed to be against the law) to deny a qualified individual a shot at a job - Had that happen so many times in my Job Hunting Career, that I decided to make one for myself, and my friend did the same:  11 Years later, I am the Owner of a business as a non profit, under the umbrella of my church, and there is NOTHING I can't accomplish, because I have the backing and help and support of my local community - Anyone who decides to take videos like that at WORK, I would FIRE like The Tahoma's 50 Calibur Deck Guns!

Take Care,

Brian

I think people have to be sensible and keep their private stuff private. Although I dont work anymore due to disability I wouldnt want people to know I was waring a diaper when I was at work. We can live and communicate openly among our close friends (hopefully) and on sites like this but not everybody is accomodating or understanding of these needs or interests.
