Tie-on plastic Snibbs ?

Has anyone tried ‘snibbs’ ? I know they are a European / Swedish thing more I believe. Literally a shaped thin plastic sheet that you place a large pad into and tie onto you by joining the ends. Very crude, but as long as you secure tightly, they can keep the pad in place. (Almost as crude as the crude oil they’re made of!)
