(I won't spell his last name) was arrested for allegedly having diaper activities with young boys.  Seems he would solicit parents with the idea he would be able to help them with their wetting issues, but he would take them with him and take pictures of them in diapers and supposedly other things.  You can look it up on the internet if you remember his name.  It caused Tommy and DPF some very uncomfortable months when it happened.  Mikey has to be very careful about anything like that happening here, including underage members. 

 

There are porn laws and internet regulations about underage minors and many people already think of AB/DL people as pedophiles.  This is a huge world wide website with all kinds of people and we know it can be hard to keep reins on that many people.  You never know what some of them may be doing that they don't mention in postings here.  When a hint of anyone underage possibly being a member here is observed, it needs to be taken care of and addressed.  I know people are in the closet and don't want anyone to perhaps make a connection to who they are in life, such as a coworker or family member, but you can't put 150 years old as your real age and skirt around required information. 

 

When joining it states required information and you don't need a page of site rules to know when it says "Real Age" to put down your real age, not that you are 150 years old.  Privacy is everyone's issue but keep this in mind.  Who of your friends and coworkers will be here unless they themselves have their own interest in AB/DL?  Even if they do or don't, how will they connect anyone here to someone they know by just their age? 

 

Same thing if you put down a general location like I have (Southwest Michigan).  Unless you say, "I'm 24 years old, live in Crabapple Cove Maine, run the local tattoo parlor on oak street and live in the blue house on Maple street on the right side two houses down from the railroad tracks", who is going to connect you personally to someone they know by your profile and real age?  While I do think a site update posting the rules on the home page would be a good idea (that way there can be no argument that a member didn't see them and know about them), it is Mikey's good graces that he allows us here on his site and his responsibility to make sure we are all safe and abide by both the legal laws and the laws of moral decency and common sense.

If i may reply here.

There seems to be a lot of apprehension about the age of 150.  Allow me to at least tell you what i was thinking when i did.

No matter what birthday i was going to put in; whether realistic or not it was never going to be my real one. whether you say that it isn't enough identifiable information or not is not relevant, it is up to me to decide what data i want to give out. So in general i give a fake date close or equal to the minimum date allowed in the form. I don't do this to be a smart ass as i have been called. i do this as my own private little form  of protest.  it also makes it absolutely clear the date is false (i do not intend to fool anyone into thinking i might be the worlds oldest man).

I recognize however that a site like this requires an age of 18+ so in the real age column i wrote that i was over 21. which is A) the truth and b)  was in my mind enough to make it clear i was indeed an adult. notice that the site asks for 18+ and i deliberately wrote 21+ to make that clear.

Now apparently that did not go over to well.... Fair enough. But as others have stated you can then message a person or look at the posts to see a persons mentality. my post were comments about what i considered abuse and consent in stories. i don't think those could have been construed as posts of a minor.  When i was originally banned none of the above happened.

Now to get back to age verification process: Is asking for a birthday really such a detractor for any minor wishing to join ? assuming that person is old enough to use a calculator and understand the concept of dates ....

Pick a an age any age .... I've decided i'm going to be 42 which is the answer to everything. Today we are the 08/17 of the year  2020 so all i need to is pick any date equal or before the current date (let's say 07/18) and subtract 42 from 2020: "et voila" my  birthday is 07/18/1978 (and i didn't even need a calculator). keep in mind there is no time limit to put in a birthday;  you decide an age take your time to calculate it (or find an age calculator online) and there you have it. My point is while it is maybe better than nothing a birthday matching a "real" age proves nothing.

I am not a lawyer but it seems to me most adult websites only do two things.1  register their site as an adult website to some parental control services (has that been done for this site ?) and 2 have  a pop up making the user certify they understand the website contains adult content and that is their responsibility only to view it if they have the legal age to do so where they live. 

After that , the last line of defense it the admins and i understand it isn't an easy job; i really do. but i really feel in my particular case there was more information to go on that an obvious fake date. which can be faked quit easily.

Thanks for your post, I agree it's really hard for the owner to see how old we are, we need to have someone that has our back, the last thing we want is underage on our site, this place has been so good, at letting us talk.

 When we don't have anyone that will accept us for our fetish's that we don't in most cases even know why we have. I just want a place that's safe ,,I can ask people with the issues like I have to get answers, and find maybe a friend if its only a friend by internet that we may never meet,  and someday meeting some of the cool ABDL that have helped me for a lot of yrs, would be cool,  It's safer to know that we are behind a curtain so to speak.

 Its a way for me to feel safe so I can talk about stuff, that my wife gets upset when I talk about. We have had so many Bad nights because maybe she is pissed about something else unrelated and I was just the tip of the ice that set her off, then we don't tale for a few hrs. I am what and who I am, she can't get it, but you guys can. So yes maybe make the rules more plain, for us. So we can read them and be sure we don't break them, so we keep this site safe..

Don't get me wrong I Love my wife, it's why I need this place a safe place.

I am for one Glad you Admin are her to protect us as well as you site, so it will be here for US.
