New Morning Routine!

Recommended Posts

Now that I am mostly working from home, and the heat and dryness has come on strong here on the Texas Gulf coast, I’ve got a new routine.

I wake up around dawn (it’s just what happens when you get older), and I pull on a pair of shorts over my night diaper, which is usually super wet and super swollen.  I add a t-shirt, grab a cup of coffee, and head outside.  I grab the hose, and hand water the areas the sprinklers don't hit so well.  At some point my poops come, and I’ll nicely load my diaper.  I spend 20 - 30 minutes out there doing my thing while I’m wet and messy.

The occasional neighbor walks or jogs by, we smile/wave/say hello.

I will put the tailgate of my truck down, and hop up then sit down while the sun finishes rising..blissfully happy in my well used diaper while I finish my coffee.

Eventually I go back inside, and a few baby wipes later I am clean, and the diaper is rolled up and in the outdoor trash.  All before my wife stirs and frowns at my stinky butt, lol.

Next week she’s out for the week, so I won’t have to change immediately, and I will be able to stay wet and messy well into the morning while I work from home. And I suspect I will work in a wank or two in there somewhere ???.

What is your morning routine?

Normally my doodoo comes out in the evenings but sometimes I will need to in the morning. In that case I will either put on a pull-up that I had only wet the day before, or a fresh Pampers diaper, then squat and push my doodoo in it. When I am done making my load, I will sit down on it and squish my poop for a little while as I check news sites and diaper forums. After that I will get cleaned up and ready for work.

My wife and I get up around 5:00 am every morning. After getting up my wife will do a morning diaper check. We have 2 cups of coffee a piece. Then she gives me my morning bottle of milk, and she starts breakfast. 3 days a week I get the Gerber rice cereal, and eggs. I end up finishing my bottle of milk while were eating. After breakfast I usually have my morning bowel movement, and after I mess my diaper I get a bath or we take a shower together. Then I'm taken into the bedroom and she puts me in a northshore supreme with a huggies overnite size 5 as a booster. I head to work around 7:45 am everyday.

  • 2 weeks later...

I am usually at work before many are waking up. I try to get in two good naps during the day and evening. I usually start off the morning around 2:30 am with a healthy amount of oatmeal or grits. take a good hot shower and dress up for work. Cant forget the make up. A girls gotta put on a pretty face.. Relax and watch morning news, just to see how many people got killed overnight I do live in New York. Then its off to work about 3:45 am. Security escorts me to !y office and I turn on the banks of computers and review the days agenda. I cant wait till 2 pm rolls around and I am squeazing my butt cheeks together holding in a huge poop. I get out of the building and let loose in my diaper as I walk to my car. Another fine day.

@Evelyn Dellcerro

My "Daily Routine" usually means that it now depends on what my appointments for the day show.  If I have a morning appointment, I am usually up at 6-7 AM, and ready by either 8:15-9:15. so I can appear outside for a bus to take me from my apartment to the appointment. If an Afternoon appointment, I adjust to make sure I have what I need, and enough time to get ready - I HATE being late, but understand sometimes things happen, so I always TRY to think ahead, as I am asking to go somewhere, and I don't want to call them out if I am NOT planning on going somewhere :)

Before COVID-19, this was by either a fixed route bus, or a "Hospital Hill" bus, depending on where I needed to go - If I needed to go to the office, I used to get picked up 3 days a week, by the "Barre Hospital Hill" Bus, @06:50AM, and would go to the Hospital, wait 8-10 minutes inside, then pick up the "Montpelier Hospital Hill" Bus to bring me directly to work, arriving at 8:15-8:30AM, and I would be going home in reverse at 5:15PM. and would arrive back at home about 6:00PM.  Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I would make a call whether I wanted to or NEEDED to go in, and usually, I would go in at 05:50AM, coming back by 11AM, similar to the way @Evelyn Dellcerro does it, but she goes IN Waaaaaay before I  get up, but I wouldn't be that far behind her.

NOW, with COVID-19 around, I schedule all my appointments, and set my transportation requests by the week, that way, I have them all "in the system."  The night before a trip, about 6:12PM,   I get a "robo call" from the Bus company, and they TELL me what time they will be at my residence, so I can be pretty close to ready when they arrive.  They usually launch a 2020 Ford E-450 Superduty Cut Away bus (we have 20 of these in service now) and they call that a "Demand Response Bus" This is because it is requested by the customer, and they have a set number of them out there for service calls.  I simply roll to the bus, put my mask on, load, and they tie me down.  Then, they bring me where I need to go, then check the tablet in the vehicle (My Name and address appears, as well as my contact number, in case they need to contact me, to alert me to a change - this comes in handy if they KNOW there is a situation which would make waiting long periods hard on me or other customers.  I usually am there for about an HOUR, then the bus returns - For me to RIDE, I MUST have a mask ON at all times when being serviced, and they want to see passengers wear masks on board, but sometimes, I have to remove it to get a gulp of water, or when it is HOT in the vehicle, as my asthma can cause problems for me.  I've been REALLY lucky, and I like the DEMAND Model, as that means fewer people aboard, and less chance of contact with sick individuals.  This also means that for the most part, you get stuff done FASTER, because they assign drivers for trips, and they can launch any vehicle they need at a moments notice - They wanted to make changes so that it  a paratransit service for people with disabilities, so I guess COVID made that happen faster.........

In a couple weeks, I will schedule to return to my office at Trinity United Methodist Church in Montpelier, VT for the First Time Since March 11, 2020 - This will be the first time I have been there since I locked the door on that afternoon - I have to do it based on rules set by the Pastor, and the Church Trustees, so I believe that I will make a couple trips, but have to do that with ONE Trustee on the premisis, as I still have files and operations that I must complete, but it all came to a HALT on March 23, when we shut the doors to the public - Because I have been cleared by the doctor to return, and I am masking, and social distancing, I CAN do work in there, but the trustee on the grounds will make sure that we are NOT overrun with people, as we have to still distance, and follow Pastor's instructions.

I have been told I may be shutdown for at LEAST the rest of 2020, and maybe LONGER, depending on when/if we get a workable vaccine:  I am compromisable, so I worry that I will be in lockdown again in November, and if that's true, I may not be spending the holidays with anyone - I ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT PUT my parents, myself, or anyone else in danger:  As of August 1, 2020 Vermont has a Mask Mandate, which means, if you are going to be IN an establishment, that is serving you, you MUST wear a mask, although Governor Scott is asking you to do that.

(There are a few exceptions: for those under 2, those with conditions that make mask wearing difficult, or those eating/drinking in an establishment, or Exercercising)

We Shall see what happens, but my routine is basically "keep moving, keep sane, keep HEALTHY, and when necessary, GET HELP ;)

Take Care all, and remember, Keep SAFE :D

Brian
