A self-developing mistake in (perhaps only) german messages - PART 2

Recommended Posts

Dear specialists of the Tech Support,

since my first post on February 6th you were a little bit taciturn. I wonder why - it's an interesting stuff - isn't it?

Now I allow myself to open the scientific part of the problem to shed some light on the dark. It is a magic word

that immediately after sending a message is converted into another - unfortunately not applicable - magic word

(see attachments - 01 before and 02 after sending). Only the first five letters of the German magic word are

translated correctly! Please answer my question "WHY?" Thank you for your answer (which I definitely expect)

in advance!

                                           Sincerely yours
                                                Diddldum

This is an issue of the encoding being used. Not all websites can convert every possible character into the same character using a different encoding.

I suspect that since you are used to using German phrases, you must also be used to different websites corrupting the characters you type. Especially when you are on a US site.

Dear WetDad,

thank you very much for your explanation. But I wonder that after many

german dialogues here just now this phenomenon appears like a little

mischievous language devil - perhaps as the  advance of a larger force.

Maybe I'm developing to the editor of a lexicon of forbidden german

words - who knows? I hadn't actually planned a career like this - but I

will probably sleep a little better now. Therefore a heartfelt "Thank you!!"

                                                                       Sincerely yours

                                                                            Diddldum
