Sunday Baby food meals

For the past few Sundays  I have been given just baby food.  It has not been that bad.  I usually have it with every meal with a baby bottle of milk.  It happens to spark a change in the diet from other foods and the taste is not that bad.

I have tried the Gerber rice and vegetables with chicken, and the rice and vegetables with beef.  Both were pureed and a semi-liquid consistency which texturally is okay but both have virtually no taste in my opinion.  I did like the Gerber apples (sauce) and cherries (flavor) though.  As I recall, some of the single-flavor baby foods taste pretty good but I have so far only tried the medleys which basically only taste like pureed veggies.

I know it’s a lot of work, but home made baby food is the only way to go. My wife makes all my food and it tastes exactly like what she cooked! Chicken and dumplings and turkey pot pie are my favorites that she makes.

I agree that is is not bad (Except Gerber Ham - YUCK).
