Public changes?

Most times my diaper would be changed in a family restroom like at a rest stop, or inside the building we were at (casino, mall etc).  Sometimes, depending where we were, it was changed in the back of the truck usually when we were at the beach.  It just depends on where you are and what is available.

It all depends on how comfortable Mommy is.  My Mommy is fine changing me in the backseat of our car if we can find a secluded spot that does not draw too much attention to us.  Typically and most definitely if our children are with us, my wife will play interference with the kids while I sneak off and change my diaper by myself.

Family and disabled restrooms are the most secure option, followed by the car. Where are you going, for how long, and what diaper will you be wearing?

More capacity of course means fewer, if any, changes.

Well, since I don't have a CG, I always change myself.  When I need to change, if I'm wearing a pull-up or only have a pull-up with me to change into, I try to find a family room if possible, otherwise I use a handicap stall if available.  The one time I've used a family room at Walmart, I took a pull-up out of my bag at my car and folded it and stuffed it into my back pocket so I wouldn't arouse suspicion by carrying in or out a bag (that Walmart sells), with contents (also sold by Walmart).

When changing a tab-type brief/diaper I try to use the HC stall as well but if not available, I'll use any open stall.  I try to change when the RR is empty but if someone comes in and hears the prep of the new diaper or the tab release and removal and wrap-up of the old one, so be it.  If I'm at work I try to go down to the main floor where I have some privacy instead of doing it on the floor I work.

There are two RRs on the 1st floor, one by the coffee shop that has a single stall (HC) and the one in the exercise room that has stalls in the shower area.  I will use either but the one near the coffee shop has a small shelf to hold my "lunch" bag containing my changing supplies which is more convenient.  the HC stall in the exercise room's shower area doesn't have a shelf but it does have a long TP dispenser that doubles as a small shelf and has a coat-hook in a very uncharacteristic waist-level position next to the stall door.  The hook is convenient to hang the lunch bag from so I can reach my supplies.

Please tell this idiot what a CG is. I have no idea; can't even guess.

Also, as does Alex, find a family/private bathroom if I can. I have never tired it in the car as I change myself standing up. In the worst case, which has happened more than I might wish, is a public facilities. When that happens, you just have to grin, bear it, and hope for the best. Especially disposal as I don't want to carry it around. Never done that.

Going to go out on a limb and guess that CG is care giver.

Ever since I started wearing 24/7 I don't really care who is in he bathroom when I am changing. I would prefer a family restroom but frequently change in public stalls.

CG=Care Giver (a.k.a., Mommy or Daddy)

Changing in Public is all part of dealing with diapers 24/7 it gets easier over time and you stop worrying about where you change and who is in the bathroom with you, a single bathroom is preferred fir the extra space and privacy but any bathroom stall will do.

Today was a first for me.  When wearing an Assurance stretch brief (single 3" wide stretch tabs with hook closures), I usually go into a stall to pee while at work if I can make it in time, so as to have some privacy when opening the hook tab closure on one side to fold down the front.  Today all three stalls were taken but there were two available urinals.  Someone exited the middle stall just as I was coming in but I didn't feel like determining the worthiness of the stall for use, so I stepped up to the urinal, opened the button and zipper on my jeans, ever so slightly lowered the front of my jeans to gain access to the entire tab closure, pulled the right closure (folding it back on itself so it wouldn't snag other fabric), then I folded the front of the diaper down enough to relieve myself.

Reversed the procedure when done and apparently no one was the wiser.  Took about an additional 3 seconds over a normal "zip 'n' pee" and the only noticeable thing was the velcro sound of the tab being pulled apart and a slight tissue-paper rustling sound.

Generally I will change myself in the disabled toilets, on a few occasions my GF has change me in there as well. One time after we had a few drinks in the pub she did change me in a baby changing room at a supermarket, do note that this was at around 1am in the morning with next to nobody in the shop at the time, we wouldn't dream of doing that at any other time. It was a fun experience though.

I changed my diaper in/ around a trip to DC this weekend:

-The National Gallery of Art family restroom: This was great - I had the whole room to myself, a changing table to set all my stuff on, and all the time in the world (I was pretty fast) to open up my new diaper, get the old one off, clean up, even get a little more powder on and lean against the wall to put on my new diaper. This is about as good an experience as I could have ever expected.

-A hotel lobby bathroom (during not busy hours): I used the handicapped stall and hung my diaper bag on the coat hook. Not private, others came in and took care of business while I was working on things. I took my time and waited till they came and went to make all kinds of noise removing tapes, pulling out my new diaper, and taping it on against the wall.

-A fairly busy Sheetz on the way home: not the easiest, and I was changing out of the diaper and not putting another on. It felt awkward until I realized I could just take my time and go slower than people who were going in to pee and get out of there. Then it got easier. By this time, I was far less worried about who/ what could hear what I was doing in there.

-Was hoping to use a family restroom to change in the National Museum of African American History and Culture but it ended up not working out. There are lots of family restrooms throughout the Smithsonian Institution buildings - but not in all of them! So look carefully before you go.

I got to show off my diaper and changed it in a public setting!

Just got back from a multi-day stay at a dormitory style "camp."  All of us guys were assigned a room randomly and each room had three beds in it. Community bathrooms/showers were down at the end of the hall. Toilets, urinals and showers were all fully open. Everyone could see everything.

My disposable diaper got changed in front of everyone who wandered in or out of the bathroom.  There was no hiding my dino print plastic panties. My roommates saw me go to bed and get up in a diaper and plastic panties. They all laughed, asked questions, had comments and got good natured ribbing about using the changing tale. Lots were envious, wished they wore, or said they should wear diapers. By the end they just yawned and said "hurry up" so that they wouldn't have to cleanup the floor if I leaked on it. Many saw me dripping.

A lot of people got to experience my diapers and plastic panties  first hand and I'll bet it spread like wildfire throughout the "camp." They kept us very busy with a lot of activity. Being camp, lots of outdoor stuff, camp files, water sports, and indoor/outdoor games. We all ate together at large, long tables. It was a good experience and would encourage you to do the same. And had lots of different beer to try.

College babies: It ain't that hard. Or bad. You may discover that only you care the most and embarrassment is temporary and short lived. Just make sure to pee on the floor and say "oops... I did it again!"

This happened to me a few times I wore my diapers to McDonald’s I ate my food and needed a change this wouldn’t be a problem normally but the bathroom was locked it was a one person bathroom so I couldn’t change. I really need one I was wearing a thin diaper and they didn’t hold well so I went across the street to kfc who had a family bathroom I don’t think I had a spare diaper because I didn’t have any bags so I threw out the diaper and walk home the walk was only 10 minutes so I was back in another diaper in no time
