Fitting In (Family 1)restarted idea (Robehouse)

Steve didn't know what else to say, so he ate waiting for her to say something.

He wondered how many more little father-daughter moments he had left like this before she started to want to gravitate away from him and more towards her friends.

[robehouse]

Cindy couldn't think of anything to say as they ate. When she finished her sandwich she smiled at her father.

"Thank you for the clothes and the food, daddy." Cindy said.

[Ishigreensa]

He smiled.

"Of course, honey.  Unless there is something else you wanted to do, I guess we can go back home.  I need to do some work related stuff on my computer since I got called away to pick you up from the office."

He smiled to show that he wasn't too upset about it though.

[robehouse]

"Sorry. I guess I'll do some school work, even though I wasn't there long enough to get homework." Cindy said.

Cindy finished eating and then drank her drink.

[Ishigreensa]

"Honey, I don't see how you have any homework.  You went home sick and that's all there is to it.  If the teacher expects you to do homework when you are sick, then she has another thing coming.  Just keep quiet and watch TV or whatnot for now, okay?"

He smiled at her.

"I don't mind missing work at all, when it comes to taking care of you, honey."

[robehouse]

"Yes sir'" Cindy said.

Cindy smiled at her father.

[Ishigreensa]

Steve smiled back at her and led her to the car.

Once they were driving and on the way home, he started to hum... You are my Sunshine.

After a few minutes, they were pulling into the house, and he got out and motioned her over to him.

"I'll be in my study for the rest of the afternoon, so if you need me, just come and get me, okay?"

[robehouse]

Cindy blushed as her father hummed, but didn't say anything.

When they got home Cindy went over to her father and listened.

"Okay. If I watch tv, I'll keep the sound down." Cindy said.

Cindy went into the house and took her new clothes to her bedroom.

[Ishigreensa]

Steve smiled at her and nodded with appreciation for her consideration.

He let her go into the house, then he hit the bathroom and then went straight to his study where he started working.

[robehouse]

Cindy hung her clothes up in the closet and then got out her tablet and started playing on it, laying in her bed.

She wondered what people at school were thinking since she basically just disappeared. 

[Ishigreensa]

Steve was going over reports on the computer....

[robehouse]

Cindy played for awhile, then went to the living room to watch tv. She rudeness on the discovery channel and started watching.

[Ishigreensa]

Steve continued working on his reports.

(I think we should leave this one for a bit while we catch up on the others to get them synchronized).
