cheerful giving?

this might seem like a dumb question, i tend to think all mine are, but what counts as cheerful giving in Gods word? would he count any acts done before you got into his word? or anything done for animals?

God ask us to give with our heart 

Some weeks I give more some I give Less give from the heart

Since everything I have is from God, therefore it is before I even get it, I tithe at least ten percent, and cheerfully give another ten percent just for principle. I find God blesses what I have left more than if I had never given it. Let me explain. I seem to have with 90, or 80% of me keeping than I had with the 100%. God challenges man to test him, and he will open up the gates of heaven and pour out His blessings.
