I apologise if this post is in the wrong thread in advance. I'm still getting used to navigating this forum.

I'd just like to take the opportunity to say thank you, to everyone on DD. I've frequented many forums including DailyDiapers as a visitor but never had the guts to sign up myself. Now that I have, and I have shared some of my story, it's almost like a burden has been lifted off of my shoulders. I feel more accepted as who I am, and to see so many others with the same interests as myself communicating with each other and helping each other out is inspiring.

So, what do you like about AB/DL communities like DD?

I know how you feel. I'm a member of this forum only. I've gotten some good advice here, and some good tips on improved diapering that I might not have figured out myself. And I hope I can give back the same.

For me the most important thing this forum provides is realization that am not alone in my desires and feelings.  If this forum was not here I would never believe in a thousand years that there are other people who actually desire to unpotty train themselves. 

This message board provides a safe haven, a place to come out of the proverbial diaper closet and be free.  When wearing diapers is confusing or upsetting to you here you will find an understanding shoulder to cry on.  If you need advice with anything diapers people take the time to provide their personal advice and experiences.

Many times I have seen the thread should I go see a therapist because of my desire to wear diapers.  As someone who has personally shared that I wear diapers to a professional I can tell you the best therapy I have ever recieved in dealing with diapers has been on this site hands down.  The cost is simply a little bit of time and effort.  This site can touch lives in a way that not many on the internet can.
