Profile date of birth and real age

Is there a reason why these arent linked in our profiles? Perhaps the option to link them by the user so we dont have to update it every year?

Seems to be a touchy subject with DD.   It's been addressed before.   I just go and change it every year on my birthday.

Not everyone is willing to put their birthdate in as it is PI, personal identification.

It serves a useful purpose. I know I have nothing in common with someone under 35 and very little with someone under 50 as far as any major topic here. If I know that going in then I just will not bother

To comply with certain laws and rules we must have your real DOB listed in your profile. After that much, the choice is yours but we will ask you to not post an unrealistic age- either leave it alone or keep it real.

We have looked into auto-updating of ages, but that feature is not available with the forum engine we use Sorry about that!
