What would you do if you hit one of the multi-million dollar lotteries?

Recommended Posts

HI there what would you do and what would you buy if you won the lottery?

My plan for if I win the lottery.

First go see a cardiologist as I probably have a heart attack.

Second call my brother and tell him to get his butt up here so we both can cash in the ticket together.  As we made a promise if one of us hits one of the multi-million dollar games we would split the winnings 50/50

Second once I have the money I would go and buy a car then a house.  I would set up one of the rooms for my nursery.

I would buy a hell of a lot of diapers.  I would also buy a lot of AB clothing and other stuff related to the AB side.

I would then see a financial person to invest the rest so I can collect a nice check each month from the interest.

I would get a lawyer then go buy my girlfriend a new car buy a nice house by a nice quiet lake in the middle of nowhere and make one room into a nursery and surprise my girlfriend by asking her to marry me before I told her I won the lottery then I would give her 30% of what's left after the car house and lawyer and use 30% to start a good business to maintain our wealth put 20% into solid valuable assets gold/silver/copper/lead/brass in case of a dollar collapse put the remaining 20% into the bank as a reserve that would leave us pretty well set for life

First, I do not play where the winnings are not greater than the odds

Then
1.cash out
2. set up accounts of. 70 million for insurances (healthcare, home, liability umbrella etc), 6 million for transportation, 75 million for housing. 100 million for a base income These would be large accounts becasue the most secure accounts have warm piss for interest rates, I would intend to draw funds for these purposes from the interest from these accounts and put back what I do not use
3.  use the rest to invest in high-yield 10%+/yr over 20 years mutual funds and immediate, post win, expenses until the money starts rolling in

hire a lawyer and a financial adviser.  Buy my dream camaro and a nice house someplace very quiet. Give each of my kids 100,000 and tell them if they accept the money they can never again in my life ask for more. Then I would created the best ab super store anyone has ever seen.. clothes, furniture, toys and anything else the ab world would ever dream of.. Further I would sell my stuff as cheaply as I could, since i really would need the money. I would also donated a big chuck of money to some wonderful children's organization.

Retire. Pay off debts. Give half to charity. Buy a nice car I don't have to fix all the time. Buy/pay off homes for my siblings. Buy land in the hills and near the coast for vacationing. Transition to womanhood. Travel and enjoy the rest of my life however I please. If I get tired of life on the road I'll build a shop to give life to some of my project ideas. And of course make sure I'll always have enough funds to do whatever I want in comfort till I die.

You realize that you would have at max a few hundred thousand dollars after taxes and charity. A million dollars is not that much. Feds take 40%

Depending on how much you win!  Right now Mega Millions is $654 MILLION and power ball is $345 MILLION so if you won one of them you would be bringing a lot more home then just a few hundred grand.

Same with the abdl business. Make the best ab/dl diaper ever. (Like 10,000ml+ of usable absorbency)

Hmmmm.... Buy the 12 acre ranch with 2 houses on it for my parents. Buy my dad and mom cars. Buy myself property and a motorhome along the lines of this

.    Just to mess with people. Drive around and see the country, then, canada, Alaska, and then park it and live in it on my property with a view. Then, LS swap my honda, why? God sent me to this world to mess with people and that is what I do best ;) . Invest in some stocks and bonds and or start an auto repair shop. Pay for my brother to have bariatric surgery. Hmmm.

Or CLS Swap it. convert the 4 speed auto to 6 speed acura manual transmission. It has the J series V6 already so it would make sense.

First thing is well...pretty simple.

Look at the numbers to make sure im not wrong and check it 4 times. Next I would do some research for lawyers and accountants and financial advisors as quickly as possible knowing that if I don't act, I could be assassinated the next morning for wining the jackpot. They would probly help figure out how I can avoid paying all the taxes by doing a LLC or somthing of the like because I would plan to start my own diaper buissness making and selling baby/ diapers both affordable and "to the max" performance styles. After all the cloud clears the next morning, we would make a plan how I would prove that I have the ticket without again...becoming assassinated. Probly will have a armed escort drive me down to claim the prize. Then all my financials would be up to the team I highered to make sure I don't go broke like how some jackpot winners do(I rather die the epic or the super old way, not get shot walking outside)and probly will move to a faraway place. Then it would be just living life really while running the diaper manufacturing company. Buy the cheapest stuff possible like a manufactured mobile home that costs around $40k, cheapest car you can buy, bills payed, full fridge and 3 meals a day.

Just live life like I never even won the lottery.

Not that it will ever happen but the first thing I would do after getting the money is give a million dollars to each of my relatives (about 8), then to my friends (about 10), then give to restoring some local historic buildings.  I'd also help people down on their luck.  Yes, I would travel to some places I would love to go to but probably not out of the country.  I'd probably find a way to contribute to some polititions I'd like to see elected.  I would build a very nice large house on acre's of land with out buildings like a huge winterized pole barn garage that would hold 20 or 30 cars.  I'd have my Jeep totally restored to new condition, then buy some classic cars and have them fully restored as well.  I'd buy old toys I had when I was a kid, also old daily items from when I was a kid as well, such as Halloween decorations, Christmas decorations from the 50's and 60's era.  With all that, I still wouldn't make much of a dent in 500 million dollars!  Oh, and I would treat myself to lots of premium brand diapers!

Actually, not quite accurate. As of 2018, the amount federal taxes levy against lottery winnings (above a certain threshold) is 24%. That has been verified as accurate by two people I know who deal with the IRS a lot more often than most of us. Then it depends on states as to a percentage the state takes (Texas takes 0%, Virginia takes 4%, etc.).

For me, I would work with a financial planner to put money away and invest, I would likely buy a nice condo somewhere with cash, buy a nice (think top of the line) VW for a car, and focus on writing and doing projects I want. And try to enjoy myself.
