What do you enjoy most about wearing pads / padding in diapers or pants?

I guess the practical answer is the absorbent qualities if you wet yourself, but I'm wondering more about the fetish & feelgood aspect of padded nappies & pants?
I've only recently taken to wearing diapers & incontinence pants after having a long-term interest in adult toilet 'accidents' in pants & panties.
Because I mostly like to just mess myself pads & padding didn't seem to be necessary to use. However, now I'm beginning to wonder if I'm missing out on something.
What do you think?

I like all the details that give you a stronger dependency feeling on an imaginary caregiver and that imply that the wearer cannot be trusted on toilet issues: the wetness indicator and the code for size/absorbency level/brand boldly printed in the middle, plus the concept that, contrary to pull-on absorbent underwear, diapers with tapes are meant to stay on and are to be used when you no longer have any hope to make it to the toilet on your own.

For me, it really is not a sexual thing!  Or I do not think it is a fetish as well.  For me, it is more for comfort as I have depression Anxiety Stress and a lot more.

So for me, it is more for helping cope with those symptoms.  Don't get me wrong though the diaper is touching a certain male part and yes I do get aroused by it.  But I do not wack off in it and well do the sticky in them I never could do those things I have tried and never performed so not worth the time.

On another note, though I do plan on going full time in diapers no matter where I am I will be in diapers.  And I will use them for what they are made for.  I do have bladder and bowel problems and I just feel that it is best to just let it go and wear them.  I love them anyway so why not just be in them.

I just do not like the cost of buying them as the kind I will be buying are not cheap and they are high-end diapers.  with prints and such.

I like thick, the thicker the better. I use them mostly for wetting, but I have messed in diapers too.  I like booster pads so I can wet more without changing as often.

Literally, there are a ton of things I enjoy about wearing diapers. For me though, the number one thing is the therapeutic quality they provide. I cannot think of something that is more stress-relieving, that is more calming, that is more soothing or secure, than wearing a diaper.

I'll expand on my earlier response. After having thought this over for a few days, I can say that what I like is coming to the realization that I may have just wet myself for the third time in the last hour and a half, and I don't care. Or sitting reading, watching TV, or simply sitting on the porch in the evening and feeling like I have to go, and relax and wet myself again. It's a nice feeling.

Now that I am wearing disposables rather than cloth, the selection of prints, thickness and easy to wear, make my day and night so so much fun. If am out doing items at stores or at casinos, no need to use public restroom. Love that more than anything. Never a leak either on using quality diapers and NOT depends. I also love the thickness in the crotch just like a baby has.

As for feel, the soft fresh padding of my diaper completely enveloping every sensitive millimeter of my genitals gets me so turned on with every move throughout the day. I am always aware my diaper is on, since the slightest move caresses me, making me aroused most every waking minute.

As for looks, seeing my thick diaper snugged around my pelvic region looks so cute & sexy.

As for psychological, knowing that I am fully dependent on my diapers to keep my clothes dry is a form of bondage and submission to me. I need to be in diapers for the rest of my life, and they will care for me and keep me happy. I love them!

I've tried a variety of booster pads, but have had a large bag of the Tena Serenity Overnights for quite awhile. I used to use them in some of the early trials in different diapers. Remembered that they did a surprisingly good job and seemed to absorb quite a bit. I've finally settled on a couple different premium diapers, Rearz Inspires, and Better Drys. They work so well I didn't see the need for a pad.

Recently I decided to put on one of my pull ups for daytime. They are the Always Discreet brand, and do a great job, for what they are. I ended up adding one of my Tena pads. I wet in it several times all without a leak. I even poke holes thru the plastic backing to make sure they wick into the diaper. Later in the day I took them off and noticed that the pad was hugely swollen and almost round. I pulled the pad out and the diaper was still mostly dry, so just added a new pad to it. I've done that several times now and love how well they work. Not gonna replace my night time diaper but for daily wear works great.

They are rated at 16oz capacity, which is awesome for a pad. According to the reviews here bladder capacity is considered to be 200-700ml, with average around 400ml. So pretty good wetting of 400ml still is only about 13.5oz so plenty more to go. I know I've wet 3 times without leaks. Like I said sometimes when soaked I'll remove a pad and the diaper/pullup is still OK so just replace it with another pad. So at about 30 cents a piece I'm now in it for 60 cents. Still way cheaper than a full fledged premium diaper and so easy to use during the day when it usually requires removing for number 2 business.

Having been made to wear diapers again after becoming a diabetic.I soon adjusted to the soft feel and the security they give.

Same here I am incontinent due to being diabetic and soon learned to accept and enjoy being in nappies.

Hi Rebel,

I think you should try it out. It's probably different for everybody - but if you have an interest or be turned on from in wet accidents and panties you should try to wet the diapers. Maybe it's in this case also not the best idea to start with the most absorbing ones but with something that you can easily float and what leeks...

I agree. I don't feel secure in  Pads alone, but I like the idea of having both.  Pads work well so long as I'm tucked in and wearing snug panties.

I love the feeling of thick padding between my legs, reminding me all the time that I'm in a nappy.  And I love the security of knowing that all that padding will let me wet as much as I need without having to think twice about it.  This morning I put an extra soaker in my (cloth) nappy just for the hell of it.  It means I can only walk bowlegged, and it feels great.  I'll be heading out to the shop shortly, wearing a big smile inside.

"diapers with tapes are meant to stay on and are to be used when you no longer have any hope to make it to the toilet on your own."

you have derscribed another thing about diapers that turns me on and that I was not aware of (or at least wasn't able to describe)

Generally, I like about diapers (disposable with tapes) how different they look from normal underwear pants, I like the look of the materials, the bulkiness, the white colour that reminds to delicacy and innocence, I'm indifferent to colorate prints though, it's only a pure childish think but that's not the point for me... I like how it looks put on a body, like a sophisticated bandage that enclose something very delicate and preciuos. I like also how a pack of 15 diapers is way bigger and heavier than 15 underpants put together. pull ups, as well as padded pants are meant to be closer to normal underpants and be more descrete, but I like all the opposite. If I had to design my optimal diaper, I would make it unnecessairly thick and even more complicated to put on... But I just like this because I don't wear in public just at home for having fun
