 Cody hugged the boy tightly he was happy Chris finally around and called himself a baby. “ no your right baby you are a baby and to little to get out your crib.  But I would never leave” Cody said rubbing the boy back and rocking him gently.

Chris was just happy to feel safe and get cuddles. He was confused about being a baby though. He k ew he felt really little now.

 “ baby your not bigger than James. James is way older than you I put you with four years old because I thought would play better. But your smallest baby in the whole daycare “ Cody said as he walked over to the changing table he laid Chris down and opened his diaper. “ that’s one soak diapee “

“What no no Dada dats dats but I do. Wanna be da yittle baby I can be big Dada peeze I mean no one NES uma baby James finks um big yike him”

Cody ruffled the top of Chris hair. “ oh baby stop worrying you little head off okay. You can still play with James and he will still like no matter if you a baby or not. But you a baby okay now how about we get dressed then eat breakfast “ Cody said.

Chris frowned “okay but I do t have to say um a baby right yike it can be secwet” he let Cody dress him

“ yes baby and can be a secret “ Cody said he just wanted Chris to stop worrying so much. He dressed Chris in a bubble guppies outfit then brought him downstairs he set him high chair and poured Cheerios on his tray. “ okay eat up while I pack your diaper bag “ Cody said to him.

Chris started to eat without complaints “um Dada peeze packs mes sone exta cwothes just in case oh an maybe is fib my fippy foppies fon yeserday”

“ I won’t forget this time baby. And I not packing your flip flops because you will lose them again you can stay bare foot “ Cody said as he went to go do that.

Chris looked scared “but but James will be wears shoeies and what if’s he notices and finks um nota big doy yike Him Dada”

“ James didn’t seem to notice when you didn’t have shoes on yesterday you will be fine finish your breakfast please “ Cody said as he was almost done eating.

Chris kept eating wanting to please his Dada then asked “well m can people not calls me baby all the times around him I don’t want him to funk it’s my name of somefing

“ sorry baby that’s what people will call you most of the time. “ Cody said as he finished packing the bags. He went over to And made a bottle for Chris to drink in the car. “ okay let’s go my sweet baby “ Cody said tickling Chris.

“But but but” Chris took the bottle sadly and drank it they made their way to the car

Cody buckled Chris and drove to the daycare.  Cody got Chris out the car and carrying him to the daycare it was circle time. “ okay baby your going to be good “

Chris hugged Cody “um gonna try real hard Dada” he saw James and the other kids

 Cody walked over to put Chris stuff down and then talked nick about Chris. 

James saw Chris. “ hey Chris sit next to me “ James said.

Chris smiled and waved he made his way over to the James “hia” he said smiling

Nick came over to Chris. “ hey baby we’re going around the circle and singing songs so just join in “ nick said to her and started the its bitsy spider.

Chris blushed and looked around hoping no one heard that but nodded “otay Mr Nick”

They had circle time for a couple more minutes singing songs then it was free play. 

“ baby come here please your dada says sometimes you put stuff in your mouth we can have that so you can play with these toys “ nick said they were all soft toys.

Chris looked embarrassed but figured he could just ignored Nick because he didn’t call him by name

Nick said it again. “ baby come here please I need to make sure you understand if you play with James and the toys you won’t put them in you mouth” nick said to him again.

Chris looked at James then sighed and walked over to nick “ um Mr nick peeze calls me Cwis is not a baby uma big boy yike James”

“ sorry baby I suppose to call what you dada told me now remover what I said I’m watching and how is that diaper of your “ nick said as he checked it in front of James.
