“ sure baby.” Ruby said lifting Ryan into her arms.” You have fun baby.” She asked him

Ryan nodded. "Uh huh! Me run and jump! They were afta mes but me got away!" Ryan had a very active imagination like any 3 year old.

Kurt just smiled. "Some of these stories make you wonder how kids think of this stuff." He said

“ well I’m glad you got away cuz we’re gonna go get Some ice cream now.” She said while she laughed st what Kurt said

Ryan clapped happily. "Me wan vanilba, no chowat, no both!" He said excited.

Kurt laughed. "I don't see why we can't get you both." He said. "Plus, whatever your your friend, Aurora, wants.

 “ ok baby let’s go so we can get the ice cream ok.” She said a sshe stood up

Kurt followed behind, Aurora gently cradled in his arms. He put her in her carseat and gently strapped her in. He kissed her forehead before climbing into the driver's seat.

Runt got Kurt in his car seat and gave him. Toy before getting in the passenger seat

Once everyone was settled, Kurt began the drive to the local ice cream parlor. He made sure to drive softly so Aurora could continue napping.

Aurora was sound asleep sucking her thumb  peacefully

 Ruby relaxed as they drive enjoying the smooth ride

Kurt reached over and grabbed Ruby's hand. "I didn't think they could get any cuter, but they are so cute when they're asleep." He said. "Almost makes labor and delivery worth it."

“ they are really cute when their asleep” she said before laughing st the second part.” This coming from experience honey.” She asked

Kurt laughed. "No, but I've never told you about my exes labor. It was bad. She ended up losing a lot of blood. The doctor's finally stopped the bleeding and decided the less risky option was a c-section. I was scared for her. When her and now Ryan came out." He sighed. "She stated she wanted no more children. I understood, but was still hurt quite a bit. That's why I would love us to have another child at some point. But, I'll respect your wishes since we have 2 great ones."

Ruby took his hand in hers and held it tight “I’m sorry you had to go through that honey.” She said.” But I’m here for you and ryan

"Thank you babe." Kurt said as he continued driving to get ice cream. "I'm sorry for going all over emotional on you. I just wanted to share."

“ it’s no problem honey i can see why you would want another baby now.” She said 

[grandmaster342]

"Yeah. I just wish you felt the same. But, nevertheless, we have arrived." Kurt said as he changed the topic and pulled into a parking space outside the ice cream shop. "Let's grab the little ones."

Ruby was hurt a bit by that but nodded as she went to get Ryan out of the back and seeing her daughter waking up from her slumber

Kurt went and grabbed Aurora. He wanted to talk with Ruby more about this subject, but now was not the time. He wanted to wait until the kids were either asleep for the night or napping. "Let's head inside." Kurt said as he opened the door for Ruby.

Aurora wondered where they were and once she saw all the ice cream inside she perked up. Giving her already wet diaper a good soaking from her nap

Kurt walked to the counter and held Aurora to where she could see the ice cream through the glass case. "What flavor would you like?" He asked.

Ryan held on to Ruby and looked as well. "Chocwat!"He said.

“ stawbewwy.” She said pointing at her favorite flavor

rubt laughed and nodded.” Good choice honey chocolate it is.”

"One scoop of chocolate and one of strawberry please...both in cups." Kurt told the worker. "And a hot fudge sundae. What do you say to sharing one with me babe?"Kurt knew that this was the desert that had a special place in Ruby's heart. He had actually ordered one for desert on one of their first dates and she kept stealing bites of it. It was one of his fondest memories.

Ryan waited patiently and happy.

“ sounds good to me.” Ruby said smiling back at Kurt as she bounced Ryan in her arms
