I had never been in any of the four doors in the hallway.  I never knew there was a bedroom in there.  After seeing that, I thought maybe the other doors might also be bedrooms, but when I was shoved into the room and the door slammed behind me, I wasn't in a bedroom.  I was in a huge closet.  I turned back to open the door, but it was locked.  I slammed on the door as hard as I could. "HEY!  What is your problem?!  I thought we agreed!"

No amount of yelling would get the door to open, and worse, anytime her hands came near to her neck and the collar, she'd get shocked. But that wasn't even the most awful part, oh no no, that was reserved for when she tried to take her own pants off and the chastity panties shocked her again from the proximity. By the time the door opened and another lolita girl greeted her, she looked exhausted, like she was afraid to even move. "Bess, right? I'm Kanna, how are you feeling?"

"Fuck you," I said, looking up at the woman in the door frame.  I had tugged down half the outfits off the hangers and made myself a place to lay down on the floor.  I recognized the girl - I'd seen her around a few times and she was one of the two girls that took my picture earlier.  I had tried tugging down my pajama pants, but they were tied with a double knot on the front and I couldn't slip them down. "You can't be into this, can you Kanna?  Kidnapping me?  Abusing me?  You're an accomplice to her abuse."

"You wrote on the school forum that we targeted children at the school across the street and tried to recruit them into our "sex cult", and that you saw us doing it." The accusation was actually what had attracted the attention of the dean; accusations like that couldn't be ignored, no matter how outlandish. It had been complicated for the club.

I rolled my eyes. "It was the school forum.  I didn't even think people read that crap." A lie.  I knew people read it.  That wasn't the point. "I was just... angry.  And we had a feud going.  You're really going to let this happen?  You're going to let things escalate to kidnapping?  To electric shock?  You go to prison for stuff like this."

"We all trust Adele, don't you ever wonder why?" Kanna smiled and knelt down next to Bess with a tender smile and her knees tucked under her skirt. "You wonder why, don't you? Why she's so loved and so treasured to us, and why she matters and we trust her?"

...I hadn't thought about it.  But now I did.  Now that she mentioned it.  I looked up at her with curiosity.  Biting the inside of my cheek.  Why did they love her?  What was special about her?  She was obviously crazy... but as she leaned in close to smile at me, I took her by the hair and slammed Kanna into the carpet.  I pulled myself to my feet, stepped on her as hard as I could to keep her down, and ran out into the common room and then to the club room door.  I knew my pants were wet, but most of it had dried.  No one would notice, I'd convinced myself.  The most important thing was getting as far away from that evil bitch as possible!

She made it all way to the door, as far as getting her hand on the doorknob in fact, when that triggered the sensor in her bracelet which shocked her for a full thirty seconds - ten times longer than the little shocks from earlier. So severe was she shocked that her body was still twitching on the floor when she was found by the twin boys and carried, effortlessly, back to the closet from where she'd fled. Kanna shook her head in disdain and dabbed a little blood from her nose as she regarded the girl. "She knows whats best for us, Bess. And she knows what's best for you, too." With that, Kanna locked the closet door again.

I cried.  I really cried.  I didn't know what was going on.  I didn't know what they were thinking!  They couldn't do this to me!  They couldn't get away with it!  I picked at the bracelets on my wrists, trying hard to pull them off, but it didn't do me any good.  I had to get out of here somehow.  I had to get away from these psychopaths.  But how?  As long as I had these bracelets on, I was screwed... finally, when it was late in the day, I put my head against the pile of dresses and closed my eyes.  Sleeping was easy.

I think the premise of the story was hers, and most of the character stuff with Bess was mine.   She's always so creative!  I'm a lucky girl.

Coat Hangers!!! Use the coat hangers to pick the locks, restraint locks are actually super easy to pick because anything used by the police has to be able to accept any key from any department and I'm assuming  a BDSM gear manufacturer made one would be similar for safety, like if you loose the key it has to be easy to pop.

Actually, you know, every coat hanger in my house is plastic.  I totally forget metal coat hangers exist.  I just assume everyone in the world uses plastic hangers... XD

Damn, you know they probably have bobby or safety pins. That would be even better. Honestly I might just bull through the pain and tear that damn collar off. Like always it depends on whether I go for fight or freeze.

Okay so I am not super into straightjackets because I'm worried I would get claustrophobic (I like being tied up but straightjackets scare me a little!) That voice, the one that woke up the poor girl, came from an immensely pretty but genderly-unclear figure who was sitting next to her, playing with her hair, and dressed in appropriate lolita attire.

I shoved the boy... girl?  I pushed them away from me.  I scrambled to my feet and suddenly felt very weak.  I hadn't had anything to eat or drink in a whole day and I was starting to feel wobbly.  I took a seat back on the pile of dresses and regarded my new visitor. "I'm not doing anything that cunt says.  This is kidnapping.  This is illegal!"

"I suppose you're right, does being right help you in this case though?" In the dim light of the closet - the very large closet mind - it was even harder to discern anything about the visitor she'd attracted, but they had a very warm and genuine smile.

"Someone is going to notice I'm gone... Marnie will notice..." I shuffled uncomfortably in the dresses and held my head.  I felt sick.  I was so hungry... "On Monday, my teachers will notice too.  And my parents, and..." But Monday was another day away.  If the shadows told me anything, it was Saturday night.

"Maybe they've already noticed. Maybe somebody with a perfect attendance record, somebody who calls her Mom every day, maybe by Monday they'd be missed." Bess, though... Bess was neither of those things; she was fiercely independent to a fault, and liked to display that by being aloof and sometimes even cold. "Maybe, though, your Mom thinks you're at the school, and your school thinks you're with your Mom."

I hesitated.  I thought about it.  I wondered about Marnie... she wouldn't notice my disappearance immediately.  But she'd know by Monday, wouldn't she?  If I wasn't in class?  No, maybe not.  But she'd certainly know by the end of the week.  We always talked.  Especially if I didn't reply to her texts!  And this was Marnie's club.  She'd come here.  I could scream and get her attention.  Until then... "You know this is wrong too, don't you?  You know this is going to get Adele in trouble... she'll go to jail.  Just let me go..."

"I'm not in any position to do that." They smiled warmly, but did wrap their hands around hers reassuringly. "I just came to keep you company, that's all I can really do. But faced with being alone as the alternative, I'll let you decide if you want me to stay or not to stay."

...fuck.  I looked up at the door and then at the pretty... boy? girl?  It was too dark in here to notice.  But what could I do? "There's nothing she can do.  Adele lost her mind.  If you let me out... if you free me.  You'll be a hero.  This is kidnapping.  This is imprisonment.  You'd be a hero..."

"Maybe having hidden away a girl who has shown herself to be violent and controversial at any moment could be considered heroic, too, given the right lens of perspective?" Extending a smile, and pulling the girl’s hand to their lips to kiss it in greeting, the visitor introduced themselves. "Bess, it's nice to meet you, my name is Caramel."

"That is not your name," I said harshly. "Is so." "No it is not.  Your mom did not name you Caramel.  That's stupid." I pulled my hands back and crossed my arms. "And in no one's perspective is kidnapping okay!  None of this is okay!  And the worst part is, you know I'm right."

"Maybe." Caramel smiled. "But does being right help you right now?" A hand left hers and ferreted around in the lace of the romper dress the figure was wearing.  It came back with a little handful of wrapped sweets in colorful cellophane. "Are you hungry?"

My eyes got wide and I basically dove at his hand to get the candies from him.  I didn't care what they tasted like.  I didn't care if they were only candy.  I hadn't eaten in an entire day and I was starving.  I unwrapped the candies and popped two in my mouth at once.  My body physically shook with the flavor.  In that moment, I was happier than I'd been all week.

I promise there is a LOT of plot and character to the story. (I mean, it's us, so that should be a given!) It starts very black and white, but you'll start to see the grays.

I like Caramel too!  Unlike Frosty, this story has a pretty sizable supporting cast.  I'm glad you're sticking with it for a while!

Uh huh I completely understand!  It gets a little more psychological as Bess starts to break down a little.  But I know the beginning is extremely harsh.

Hmmmm.. the past two chapters were unnaturally short, I think.  I usually aim for a minimum of 15 posts.  But then I also try to utilize natural scene breaks too.  So... the chapters might be a LITTLE shorter.  But the past two chapters should not be reflective of the length of future chapters.
