Real world Incon
this is a great move by Depend mixing the products into 2 sizes s/m and l/xl while good for the company and retailers, in only having to manufacture 2 products and stores only needing to stock two items. The result was a poor fit for most people and a poor fit is the biggest issue with the performance of an incontinence product. Link to comment
WetDad
This is a great move by Depend to take up more shelf space with mediocre products. An excellent way to squeeze out competitors. 1 Link to comment
Bettypooh
Pull-ups can be useful for very short-term wear and for those who need minimal protection. They're also very good around home if you're having a bout of moderate diarrhea- better than wasting expensive diapers with multiple changes. To me, this seems to be mostly another advertising gimmick rather than any real progress. Only a small number of people couldn't find a pull-up which fit well enough already. They're never going to develop a widely useful product for the incontinent because that is not their market aim. We're well-supplied now so no great loss in that. Bettypooh Link to comment
