The Amazing Colssal About Me page

It seems that my "About Me" page is growing at an enormous clip. There is so much whitespace  at the bottom that I think something has gone awry. And it keets growning like the Blob I looked at the source and there seems to be a <p span> tag that makes no sense

I've since found out that it grows whenever I edit it or even go to the About Me editor. So what I do is at the end of an edit I go to "Source", scroll dow to the end and highlight all the new blank lines and delete them. If I though that this was OK and would be permanent, I could put it to use. However, I try to keep it reasonable
