Anybody have an AB side?

I know that some of us get a little excited about cute print on our diapers, but does anyone have a little more of an AB side than that? Maybe a pacifier once in a while, or a comfy pair of onsies? Just wondering. ;)

I was just about to start a topic with the same vein of thought.

I started as a pure DL, but a lot of diapers have adorable little patterns on them, so what the heck, I'll get adorable diapers.  After awhile it slowly morphed.  I bought a diaper bag because I wanted something adorable to pack my diapers in, so now I have a pink owl diaper bag. I thought I'd try a paci again, and wouldn't you know, there's a matching bottle!  So now I have both; though I only really use the paci, bottles aren't so much my thing.  Then I saw adorable infant blankets with more owls...I used them to decorate bland spaces in my house, save for the owl print that is part of my diaper bag collection.

Lastly I recently purchased a onesie and I love it.  I'm waiting on a Nuk pacifier in adult size (damn UPS and their terrible shipping delays this week).  I feel like somewhere in two years I've made the entire jump from pure DL to somewhere around an adult kid/teen.  I regress by playing computer games while wearing a diaper and onesie under my pajamas, occasionally while sucking on a pacifier.  Sometimes I'll meld my ages all together and mess my diapers while washing dishes, or clean house and feign an 'accident', making a giant puddle on the floor (My home is luckily all linoleum/tile/coated hardwood).

I'm not sure how I got here from where I started, but to be honest?  I'm quite happy with it.

Closest I would ever come to AB would be a nice snap front onesie.  Wait.  It would be black with a Las Vegas casino logo design on the front.  Onesie could be considered AB or just a practical garment, but a Las Vegas casino logo is strictly adult in my opinion.

Yes babies are way too young to go to the races; place bets; game the system but wear that Vegas onesie and the baby has bona fida credentials to bet the baby piggy bank !

I still consider myself a DL, despite wearing primarily AB diapers. During the winter months a onesie or footed pajamas get thrown in the mix as well. Pacifiers, bottles, stuffed animals do nothing for me and I have zero interest in being a baby again. 10/90 split max I'd say.

i guess i am an "over the top" ab.. I have several onesies and footed sleepers.  I built a crib and a changing table, there are pictures on my profile if you want to see them. I have several pacifiers, bottles and anything else that a regressive ab would need. I regularly regress to about the age of a 18 month old toddler.. so yeah i go a bit further then just diapers, you might say..lol

Whatever works for you I guess.  Do you have a caretaker by chance?

I had been urinary incontinent for many years before I was told about AB who wanted to wear diapers. That was 1990 at which point even after I learned about AB I did not know about DL. Of course through my writing for DPF eventually I learned that there are DL who have no interest in AB play just as there are AB who also fetish diapers as sexual objects.

For me diapers are not sexual. I consider AB to be a coping strategy because I cannot function in a continent world without diapers.

My sexual kink has nothing to do with diapers or pacifiers.

I like watching cartoons, so I would say I tend to lean more towards being a little than an AB.  Anyone else in the same boat here?

Fritz The Cat.  That was an adult X rated cartoon movie that came out in 1972.  It was the very first animated movie to receive an X rating.  You don't have to be a baby, toddler or little to watch cartoons!  While I get nothing out of the newer Scooby Doo cartoons, I still have and watch the first 2 seasons from 1969 and 1970.  Lots of cartoons had adult humor, such as Rocky and Bullwinkle and The Flintstones (which was the first half hour animated show to run in prime time).  It was actually loosly based on Jackie Gleason's Honeymooners.  When the Flintstones were going to have a baby, there was a national contest to pick a name for it and a housewife won with her suggestion "Pebbles"  True, maybe she was an adult kid or AB, but it just goes to show people of all ages can watch cartoons without having AB or little tendencies.  Just like diapers for most of us, cartoons can be a stress relieve and a way to get away from work, business, bills and all for a while and relax.

I always thought that is interesting about how for some people view diapers as sexual and for some it's completely not.  I wonder why...

It's different for everybody. Everyone has their own reasons for getting into diapers in the first place. Bedwetting as a kid can go two different ways, I think. One is, lots of people learn to masterbate when they're children, and many of those who were bed-wetters learned how to do it in diapers. Since there's nothing else in the world that feels the same, it carries over into adolescence and eventually adulthood and sexual fantasies as they mature. On the other hand, others will simply remember the feeling of security and being able to safely release control, and again, there's no feeling like it. There are others who experienced some form of abuse from an adult or sibling or peer that involved diapers, so they continue wearing them either as a form of self-punishment or as a way to try and make the experience positive to replace the abuse they endured. There are also those who are incontinent and have to wear diapers, and they learned to love them. The list goes on. Sometimes it depends on the reasons why you're into diapers in the first place, and sometimes what you like about diapers can evolve over time. It's different for everyone.

Also, I agree with rusty pins that just because you like watching cartoons doesn't mean you necessarily have an AB side. Even if it's not from the era where there was still a lot of adult humor in cartoons. It just means you have a sense of humor and nostalgia. A lot of people are the same un this regard. Unless you're watching Barney or the Telly Tubbies or something, then I might say you may have an AB side.

That's kind of funny, because that's sort of the direction that I'm headed towards. I never really thought that onsies or pacifiers would do anything for me, but over time it's started to look more and more appealing. Mostly, diapers are sexual for me, but with a little bit of emotional comfort as well. But I did start to enjoy the cute ones with the designs as well. Throwing in a onsie kind of takes me back to being like 5 years old (although I was out of diapers by then) and sitting in front of the tv on Saturday mornings or something. Pacifiers don't do anything for age play for me. I think it is just because I have an oral fixation, and maybe for that reason it'll help me quit smoking. Plus I've read that some of them are good for lining up your teeth. So, why not? Sucking is just a natural reaction that we've had since birth. It just sort of feels right having a pacifier, I guess. Anyway, I'm glad you commented, because I was wondering if there were any others who evolved their style of ABDLism over time.

Toss me into that category of starting as a DL think AB was ridiculous. Years later I sit here in a princess diaper, pink socks, leggings, diaper cover with bows, a Minnie  Mouse blanket, cute bib for breakfast and a My Little Pony pacifier attached....How ridiculous!

I’ve been using diapers recreationally since 2009. For several years I bought only white adult pull-ups and diapers. Eventually I decided to try an ABU Space diaper, which seemed the least juvenile and most expressive of my other interests. From there I bought other ABDL diapers, like Rearz Seduction (like the black briefs I prefer, and sexy), DC Idyl (for the original bright blue, not for the print), and Bambino Bellisimo (which people seemed to like a lot). In general I favor bright colors over childish patterns, but not the rainbow diapers I first saw pictures of yesterday. For use during long cardio workouts I bought XL GoodNites for girls. I like the butterfly pattern more than the superhero theme of the boys style. I still consider myself pure DL and have no interest in age regression, pacifiers, bottles, onesies, coloring books, or cribs. To each his own.

Hi,

Thanks for an interesting thread.

I don't consider my self an adult baby in any sense of the word. Having said that I sometimes use an adult sized pacifier with and without a diaper.

I like nice printed Gary plastic pants and often wear them with training pants. I'm not interested in toys, rattles or cribs.  Guess there's more AB in me than I would like to admit.

Hi, I can relate. Perhaps there is a slippery slope. I bought a onesie, then another after that a waddler onsie. I bought a diaper bag and then a second.

I like to wear onsies, but don' much anymore cause i live with my brother and he knows I wear diapers but he kind of freaked out once when he saw me in one and i used the excuse that it was to stop from sagging and i never wore in front if him since then and he never mentioned anything about the situation since
